Fantastic food, great value. We've been before so we knew what we were getting and weren't disapointed. 3 courses hadby both of us even.though i'd only planned to have one.

Lovely food in an informal atmosphere . Service was excellent and I really appreciated a free glass of prosecco as a birthday treat! Try the delicious baked Camembert

Had an excellent lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. They were fairly busy which created a nice buzzy atmosphere. The quality of both food and service really was very good plus the lunch deal was superb value too!!

Le Mistral was absolutely lovely and the food was delicious. The atmosphere inside was also great and relaxed and the staff were really friendly and I’ll definitely be visiting again.

Le Mistral never disappoints. Staff are great, friendly and helpful without being over-attentive. Great value for great food and lovely atmosphere. Will always recommend and always return.

This was our second meal here and have to say it was as excellent as the first. There is always a relaxed and friendly welcome and service is spot on. The restaurant is small and cosy and you could feel you are in a french bistro. The food is all excellent quality, beautifully cooked and presented. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Le mistral sherwood is in in a good location Atmosphere in restaurant Is chilled, with friendly staff and the service is pretty quick considering how busy the restaurant was. My steak was cooked to perfection. I would have no hesitation in recommending and will be going back again soon.

A great evening - it was my mum's birthday and they really looked after her. She got given a birthday drink and a candle in her pud! Thank you - we will be back.

Great little restaurant. Nearby parking, lovely atmosphere, food is always good quality and friendly staff. No need to go into the city centre for a great evening.

Nice cosy, relaxed atmosphere. Service was attentive through out without being too much. There was a good menu choice and plentiful portions. My friend was a vegetarian and though the choice was limited she loved the risotto she ordered. My duck was really nice too. Always seems busy and can see why!

Food taste great, good atmosphere, but rather cramped for space and because it was a warm night being near the cooking area it was a bit uncomfortable.

The food and its preparation was good BUT the service was slow and unprofessional - due to a lack of staff and obviously insufficient or no training.

Great food, great service! I don't think I have ever had a bad experience at Le Mistral - staff are always pleasant, and the food has always been top notch, especially for the price. Sunday dinner is especially good.

Food was good and reasonably priced.The service was excellent,attentive without being pushy,and they were relaxed,despite our late arrival due to traffic chaos.i would recommend this eatery.

Going for Sunday lunch early we didn't have to wait very long. Food was deli and service was totally friendly and professional. Well done that team!

Good French style food in a casual ambience. The restaurant in Sherwood is small but with a warm friendly atmosphere. We found the food well cooked and filling. Would recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant has improved recentky. The waitress forgot a few things and had to be reminded. The pork was lovely, however I asked for additional bread for my moules and wasn't advised there was additional cost involved

As this place changed hands me favourite place just seems to have gone down hill. Soon as we arrived everything was rushed hence the change of hands comes to mind🤔

best advise is go and try it you will not be disapointed the staff the food and the atmosphere is good best to book your table penny/dave

Always friendly efficient service and well-cooked and well-presented bistro style food in this small local restaurant. Sherwood now boasts a number of good eating places but Le Mistral is still our favourite.

It was our wedding anniversary. Le Mistral is our local French restaurant. We had a delightful meal, really delicious, served with courtesy and skill at a very reasonable price. We love it there!

Very nice as usual - good deal £29 for 2 mains and wine. Shame that they had run out of fish cakes. Will be going again.

Fantastic food as always! I love this restaurant, and will definitely be returning. It's a shame we don't live closer or we would always be eating there.

Lovely place if a little cramped for customers seated down the centre. Nice food at a reasonable price. Service a little slow on the night we went due to a large party but the waitress was always smiling and very apologetic.
