Great food, lovely setting and attentive staff. It was a shame that our evening was spoilt by a very loud party of six and we couldn’t hear ourselves over them but this wouldn’t deter from returning.

We had a fantastic evening at la Madelaine. The starters were excellent particularly the mackerel pate which was extremely tasty. We had the Cod main course with the garlic butter sauce which was wonderful. Our fellow diners had the steak which was also cooked to perfection and excellent. We had the fine Rioja which was a beautiful wine. The evening was finished off with Creme Brulee and peach roulade. Overall a fantastic evening. Thanks very much

What's not to like? An absolutely delightful venue for lunch tucked away down a side alley by the Cathedral. Every time I go there I come out with a smile on my face. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. Yet another reason to visit Hereford!

1st time , evening menu is £15 for 2 courses which we felt was excellent value. We all found the food delicious, waiter was very friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere, great restaurant for a cosy meal for 2 or a catch up with friends.
