Great food, great service and a really nice place to eat. We will be back.
La Gioconda is such a fantastic neighborhood place! Family was very impressed. The food was excellent
Lovely food & service. Thank you so much. Perfect . Xx
This has become a convenient meeting place for a group of us spread around north London. The food is good and the staff are friendly.
Amazing food and atmosphere. Nice service. Definitely I will come back.
Great pizza, great service, what’s not to like? Really nice
The staff were very welcoming, the food was lovely and the service was very good, would recommend going there!😁
Small menu but the food was fresh and nicely presented. The service was friendly and speedy. Good value. Well worth a visit.
Great pizzas but very slow service and our seafood pasta had raw prawns in
Really lovely evening. Gorgeous food, pizzas as good as any you’ll get in Italy and lovely, friendly staff.
Fabulous pizzas, great beef ragu and superb value! A hidden gem!
Good food, good value, very friendly with a good atmosphere
First visit - the food was first class and service was second to none. Such a fantastic find we will definitely be paying another visit. Keith
Very attentive staff, top quality food, good portions and a welcoming family atmosphere. A rich tomato sauce for the seafood soup and innovative scallop and prawn filling to the ravioli. Inexpensive.
Great food. Excellent table service/friendly staff. Decent prices. Lovely interior that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. I would certainly recommend to anyone else who has not tried this place. We will certainly go again soon.
Food was good and acceptable. Pizza Neptuno was ok but we have asked to change mussels for some Italian sausage but they just put little bit that you could nearly see it. Apart from that pizza dough was great and very well baked.
Friendly service, interesting art decor, reasonable prices - well located, too. Would happily go there again - has come a long way from when it opened.
We had the XL Mont Blanc, a delicious pizza served on a decorative pizza tray, with a side salad and some great olives. Only knocking one point off as the service charge is included at 12.5%, which I think should be optional (I'd tip around that anyway but I don't like the idea of it being added and non-optional) and also, when we were the first people there, there was some pretty bad dance music going on, which took a good 10 minutes to turn into something more late night and jazzy and more 'food orientated' when other people started to turn up for their bookings. This is being critical though, it's the food that counts!
Lovely friendly and attentive staff and a nice ambiance. The service was good and the food was hot. My only dislike was that the potatoes had the skins left on.
lovely food, polite staff and great value for money. Top siscilian wine
Amazing food and great selection of wines. Staff is really friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely evening there and looking forward to our next visit. :)
Delicious, authentic Italian dishes and fantastic, friendly service. Super local restaurant. Kids enjoyed sharing a large pizza. Lovely puddings too. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks
This is a really nice local restaurant with seriously yummy food. Although we had gone for a pizza we were swayed by the home-made pasta with rags and the gnocchi with duck instead. A starter of burratta with fresh tomatoes was also first rate. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere relaxed but buzzy. We will return!
I would give the full green light, if that means top score for my evening at La Giaconda. We were treated to 1st class service. I am so pleased to have such a great restaurant in the area.
Loved the place, so tastefully done and service was good. Not all food was quite as expected, but the feel of the place compensated for it.
Very nice people and very nice food But could do with nicer chears. Only complaint but overall a very nice evening with my family. Thank you
The location is quite remote, the food is great, and the service was excellent. My GF and I enjoyed every second of our VDay dinner there. Highly Recommended
Very good looking and authentic restaurant but food not up to standard. King Prawns were over cooked & not fresh as were prawns in linguini along with stodgy & dry sauce. Hardly any actual seafood in.
Excellent Italian pizza. Certainly the best pizza in Harringey/Hornsey. The rest of the menu looks delicious, too. The place is nice and cozy, and the service is good. Highly recommended.
Great food. V authentic. Love 💕 Giaconda new favourite. Been open for some time but can’t believe we only went recently. Also take taste card.
Just the best Italian restaurant in all North London! Must try it
Great, though small, restaurant . Food delicious, wine tasty. Service attentive. Only disappointment, one of the fancied choices was not available. Will be going back again.
The service here is great! The food is amazing with quality ingredients and the atmosphere is good! Overall it is a great place to eat!
Freshly made pasta and delicious sauce. Same goes for the starters and dessert. We had a glass of Aperol Spritz to compliment our Italian cuisine and it was easy to use our Tastcard.
The waitress was helpful And friendly . The pasta delicious and the house wine was lovely . It was a good job we booked as it was very busy especially since it was a Wednesday !
Food really delicious. I had fish soup and sea bass -yum. Party also had beetroot and goats cheese pasta and grilled prawns and pizzas-all went down well. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice ambience. Only little tip is I would ensure cobwebs around wall lights sorted. Don't get me wrong place otherwise clean and would not stop me going back. Other tip -pizzas are really large so unless absolutely ravenous a medium would do most people although they do give you a doggy bag. Definitely worth a visit.
Fantastic authentic Italian food. Good ambience. Friendly welcoming staff. Lovely evening spent with friends in this cosy restaurant which we thoroughly enjoyed with a few glasses of Prosecco. Highly recommend and will definitely go back soon.
Beautiful pasta dishes, best gnocchi I have ever tasted. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. They do deliveries as well so I might be using them for home.
Great atmosphere. Very friendly service and lovely food. Tasted Baratta cheese for the first time here. Highly recommended. It also helps that we're only 5 minutes walk away.
Really lovely restaurant. Food and service superb. Very reasonable. Parking easy. Book as packed with regulars. Quirky and fun with lots of locals. We were having a family meal. All good amazing but we did not do Desserts as birthday cake at home. Wine and beer good and reasonable. Highly recommend for friendly local not posh restaurant. Will go again soon.
The staff were very warm and welcoming and the restaurant felt like stepping in to an authentic Italian family home. The pizza was excellent - perhaps the best i've had in the city. Its a charming local independent place, which is a rarity these days. A restaurant to be revisited and treasured.
Such excellent food at a fraction of West End costs and using the Tastecard made it even better value. Sangiovese is a super house wine
Lovely food! I had beetroot and goats cheese ravioli which I had never had before. Really enjoyed it! Recommend! Didn't go much on the trance music though - didn't really go with the romantic environment and therefore was not conducive to the relaxed atmosphere. Had to wait a while to even be handed a menu too. However overall the positives outweighed the negatives. Will definitely be returning in the near future.
It's a great place to eat, excellent food, intimate atmosphere, friendly and accommodating staff, value for money... what more do you want? Ideal for groups.
Very nice place, excellent service, the pizza is not the best and is not worthy the money. Probably the do better the pasta, which I haven't tried.
Proper delicious and right on our doorstep! Can't wait to bring mates to this little hidden gem. Friendly staff, great choices on the menu and quirky atmosphere. Highly recommended
Had a wonderful meal here for my sons birthday, reallly quirky little place, the fron room was full so we were in the back parlour on our own, like being in someone's sitting room. Food was amazing and so fresh, will definitely be back!
It was very nice, the only thing I have found was the food to be on the scarce side; very elegant though, albeit not as much as I would have liked. The ambience and the rest, all excellent.
Incredibly delicious food and very quick and friendly service. The pizza is some of the best I've had in years and the pasta and other dishes were also amazing. The value for money is incredible and I'm already planning my next trip
Food arrived not hot enough. Potatoes missing on one plate As we were the only covers a little disappointing Other reviews were excellent so our midweek visit may have been untypical May be better on weekends
