We went to La Fabrica at lunchtime on a Sunday - it is clearly meant to be an evening restaurant as there was only one other table occupied, so we didn't get a true sense of what I expect would be a lovely ambience. Welcome and service was great and the tapas was good but I have had better in other tapas restaurants recently.
Celebrated a birthday here which was really great. It look a little while for the server to come over and get us some drinks but after that we were well taken care of. The Alicante red wine is really good value and all the tapes were really enjoyed by all my friends. Some favourites were the garlic prawns, Piementos de Padrón, and the meatballs. A great place for a relaxed date or a few drinks and tapas at the bar. Will definitely for a fourth visit !
Delicious food, fast service, friendly staff, reasonable prices, what more could you want? I went with two friends and we shared a bottle of Cava, six tapas plates and had a dessert each - came to £25 including service. Amazing!
Always interesting tasty and well-presented dishes. Also a great selection of intrresting Spanish wines.
Amazing authentic food- well priced and imagine it would be fab for dins (went there for lunch)
The design of the restaurant is good, staff are attentive and efficient and the wine list is very good - interesting varietals, a good choice by the glass and almost all available as a carafe. The food doesn't match the other elements of the restaurant. The Tapas is OK; just OK and certainly not as good as Morito, Brindisa, El Parador, Opera Tavern, Fernandez & Wells, Ember Yard or Barrafina. I'd go back for a bottle of wine at the bar, but no more.
We had a meal on a Tuesday evening when the place was full. The service was great, the atmosphere great, however some of the dishes lacked any real flavor ( meatballs & Salt Cod ), our favourite dishes were the Octopus and Blue cheese croquets
The food here was delicious, varied and excellent for sharing, as well as being very good value for the quality. The atmosphere was great. We had an excellent evening and can recommend La Fabrica very highly.
Really tasty tapas. Good service and great atmosphere. Price is a bit high compared to high end tapas restaurantes, but overall this is the best place in the area and we are lookig forward to coming back
Excellent value , excellent good and really good atmosphere. Sangria was pretty good too!
Really good tapas - mixture of classic tapas dishes and some interesting different takes on dishes. All at very affordable prices. Interiors of restaurant are lovely, as are the staff. One waiter dropped a dish, spilling some food on my boyfriends jacket. They compensated us with a free jug of (delicious) sangria, free pudding which included delicious ginger ice cream and also picked up his dry cleaning bill for his jacket. Overall impressed with this place!
We had a really nice time at La Fabrica last night. It was pretty busy and the staff was a bit overwhelmed but it's understandable. The food was great, our waitresses were very nice and made sure to keep us happy. I would like to go back to try more items on the menu! I really recommend this place.
Nice food. Good service. Great value. Would definitely go again. Recommended!
it is a nice place and the food is good and wine is excellent. it is sometimes a little crowded though. I would recommend it
The food is incredible and also theres great service. The staff are friendly and theres also a great Atmosphere
Nice atmosphere, staff were nice and quite attentive after an initial delay due to the rush. The food was superior tapas.
Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and tasty food. Loved the black ink rice. And very reasonably price. Highly recommended
Great atmosphere and delicious food! Would recommend to anybody looking for authentic tapas
The food was great, the service brilliantband the atmosphere perfect for my birthday night with my friends.
A great little local restaurant. Authentically Spanish from the staff to the food and atmosphere. Reasonable prices and a lively evening can be had perching at the bar. Recommended
Food was nice not outstanding. Staff were frantic but very pleasant however I have to agree with several reviews here regarding plates being left and time in between certain dishes. Staff also apologised for inconvenience and offered a free digestif. Quite pricey for quantity. Wouldn't rush back but nice once every so often...
We really enjoyed our evening at this tapas bar last night. Lovely servers and had a nice chat with one of the owners. The tapas is good honest food and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. We are so glad to wish this restaurant well in our community - long may it stay. The only thing stopping me from rating it a 6 is that by about 9pm, when it started to really get busy, the service suffered as I think they were a bit overwhelmed by the numbers. We'll recommend it to our friends and we'll definitely come back!
Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, fantastic staff and fabulous decor. My favourite neighbourhood restaurant.
Excellent tapas fantastic atmosphere! A busy little place in Finsbury Park and with good reason. Highlights include ox cheek, octopus, croquettes and betroot salad. Service was a little mad but truly fab
Third visit. As always, the staff is so very nice, the food amazing - we also had Sangria this time and it felt like a summer in Spain! Will come back. Again.
Excellent food. Lots of vegetarian choice and generous portions. Fed two of us with drinks for £40.00
Hungry when we left. Overall it felt mean. Rather small portions even for tapas, the tiny half sized octopus leg had to be seen to be believed! Every basket of bread charged for, wine list overpriced. Food was decent enough and the staff did give us some extra dishes free of charge when we complained. But not a patch on its older and much better Crouch End sister, La Bota.
A great wine list, well-prepared plates, and absolutely amazing staff put La Fabrica above most other tapas restaurants.
Excellent food, drink and service. Will definitely be returning for another great meal. Try the wild boar cheeks from their special menu as they were a personal highlight.
Really disappointing, usual selection of tapas but everything we ordered came out of the kitchen cold. The squid was really fresh but so charred it tasted burned. Twice during our dinner there was a acrid smoke smell coming from the kitchen. Churros were the worst I've ever had.
Second visit. This is a really nice evening out the food is fantastic and the staff are friendly and efficient.
Fantastic wine, fantastic food and fantastic service. A welcome addition to finsbury park
Great food and wine but we were let down by the service. I ended up clearing our plates away myself as we sat for about 20 mins with dirty plates in front of us. So disappointed as I had been looking forward to dessert & coffee.
A good new addition to N4 restaurants. Casual dining with good wine options.
Brilliant service and every dish we tried was lovely. It was busy but there was no delay in service and the food came out promptly. I'd made a mistake with my booking but they still managed to fit us in. We loved the Wild Boar cheeks and chicken livers, in fact everything was very tasty!
great food and ambience - it felt very authentic and the manager & staff are very good - a great addition to the neighbourhood which is lacking in variety
We have been to La Fabrica twice in the last month. Nice atmosphere, superb food and great service. We will definitely be making another booking soon.
Great place, food and wine was amazing. We went on a Wednesday night and was very busy for a week night. Going back for my birthday
This is our second time visiting La Fabrica and I am happy to say the experience is still as good as ever. The food is authentically Spanish and delicious. The best part is the service, all the staff are really friendly and happy to have a chat with you about the food. Carlos was our waiter and he gave me a great run down on some dishes that were new to us. Good stuff!
Food was good in La Fabrica. And the Tarta de Santiago we had as desert is one of the best I have had in London. Not dry as in most places. The only reason I did not give 6 stars is because the bill was a bit pricey compared to other (more central) Spanish restaurants in London
This restaurant is great with good service and good food. The environment of this restaurant is quiet and the location is very close by. I will recommend La Fabrica to my friends.
It was so impressive! Great food, service and atmosphere. Easily one of the best restaurants on Stroud Green Road. Definitely going back very very soon.
We had a lovely evening at La Fabrica--one of several in recent months. The food and wine was delicious and the service swift and charming. We will definitely be going back!
The experience at this restaurant was excellent from the staff to each delightful course. Each dish was exceptional and delicious. We will be visiting again, lovely food, music and ambience.
Very nice staff and the food was great. There was lots of variety and a very nice wine recommendation was made. Only slight issue was a couple of our dishes got missed
Best Spanish food I've had in London so far - a really interesting selection of tapas. Really nice atmosphere in the evening and great cocktails!
The food was not up to expectations - served Luke warm and lacked proper seasoning. Wine selection is good. Service is average. Will not be going back.
Always great food and service. We go regularly and will continue to do so. As good as many of the hyped tapas restaurants we've tried elsewhere.
