La Casita Ilkley

This was our second visit to La Casita in Ilkley our hometown. On both occasions the food and service were excellent. Our only complaint, I did make it known to our waiter, was that the place was extremely cold. There was no heating at all. Our first visit was in the summer and it had been the opposite with no air con on one of the hottest days of the year. On this occasion when I complained to the waiter about how cold the room was, he did explain that it was a listed building and that there were certain limits as to what could be done regarding central heating. We were understanding of this, however, feel that some sort of heating could be provided if only a couple of fan heaters - it would make the experience of eating such super food much more pleasant.

Attentive, friendly and personable service. Great food and really good specials. It was our wedding anniversary tonight and we really enjoyed the meal, the service and the atmosphere.

Always great food and service and good value for money can recommend the bottomless tapas last Sunday in the month but make sure you book

The food was delicious as usual. The staff were attentive. Thank you. The only mistake was ours, we should have checked wine before ordering as it was too sweet for our taste.

Booked here for a Birthday meal with friends on a Tuesday night. Even though it was quiet as we dined quite late it still has a lovely atmosphere which is probably helped by the friendly staff. Gorgeous food and drinks, fab service, great atmosphere - we will be back.

We had a really lovely time, lovely atmosphere even though it was quite quiet on that evening. We will be going back again soon! Would recommend to anyone for a romantic meal in Ilkley.

Attentive and professional service of the highest standard. Great value for money. Great food with original and authentic flavours and a genuine “tapas” experience. Would recommend a visit to everyone.

Poor service, didn't get our starters, there was no order as to how the dishes came from the kitchen very random. As the evening drew to a close, the music level seemed to increase.

Food was great, table location was poor, had to request to move inside where we had room to actually eat a meal. Have been before and loved it so I’m sure this is just a blip

Good atmosphere if you like busy( slightly noisy). Tapas dishes brought to the table gradually which in my opinion is better than all of them being brought at the same time and getting cold.

Beautifully cooked and presented food. Delicate flavours. I especially liked the celariac dish which combined a celariac coleslaw with a celariac croquette and a delicious celariac sauce. Great combinations of different dishes and excellent service.

Excellent food in a welcoming atmosphere. Menu choices include meat, fish, vegetarian and cheeses and there is plenty for everybody to find something they like. Will definitely visit again.

As always, La Casita never lets you down. Amazing food, great friendly service and great atmosphere too. I keep coming back and will continue to do so!!

We were lucky and seated outside even without asking which was lovely as it was our anniversary. The staff as always were attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was amazing with some new additions to the menu and specials which we just had to try. It’s a favourite place to visit, never been disappointed.

The atmosphere was brilliant, the food delicious and the drink choice outstanding. If you manage to get a table outside then it has a fabulous relaxed, unique Mediterranean feel in the heart of ilkley

Nice setting, good atmosphere, very poor service. We’ve had 4 waiters within the first half an hour asking us if we wanted to order drinks while the order was taken but drinks were just not coming for a long while! When we finally ordered food it was ok but no wows there and we all admitted that most of the dishes were over salted. We were not asked once if we want more drinks never mind asked if we want any deserts. Shame, as I only released this on the way out when we already paid the bill ... will not be coming back again I don’t think!

Great food and atmosphere. The chorizo popcorn and the oxtail was particularly delicious. The service was good and the menu offered good choice and was reasonably priced

Fabulous food as always and great staff! If you like eating tapas this is the place for you. try the choizo cooked in red wine and honey. The beef cheek was so soft it melted with a full beefy flavour. One of our favorite places to eat in Ilkley

Delicious tapas, lovely, friendly staff. Always fabulous. Clean and pretty setting in the gorgeous old arcade. Good priced drinks and a nice drinks menu. Delicious desserts to finish off.

Always a favourite. Repeat visits and quality never falters. Delicious food and wine, dined early bird on this occasion, excellent value for money. Ox cheek is highly recommended.

Nice atmosphere and lovely setting for the restaurant.We were given advice by the waitress about ordering,so started with each of us ordering 2 items each.I think the portion size of the meat and fish tapas is small for the price charged.The vegetables tapas was a better portion size.As the meal went on the service fell off,so would be concerned if the restaurant was full how it would cope!

Excellent choice of tapas dishes and really authentic. Nice relaxed atmosphere and very attentive staff. Choice of sitting inside or 'outside' in the beautiful Victorian arcade. Can highly recommend.

Already booked to go back. Great food and atmosphere enjoyed by everyone in our group. We had a selection of veg/fish and meat Tapas which were all delicious. We have booked for their endless Tapas day last Sunday in the month.

Fabulous venue great food and lovely people serving you. Sat outside in my favourite area. I loved the prawns chicken goujons lemon sole goujons and the Nutella doughnuts the most
