Korks Wine Bar

Delicious food, lovely staff and a fabulous concert in the back room to follow. Our first visit to the wine bar and we'll make a point of returning.

Nice meal. The restaurant was quiet despite being a Friday night. I ordered a starter by mistake from the Sunday menu but the chef kindly offered to make it for me anyway which was very good!

As usual the experience at Korks is a very positive one. Visited on a Sunday evening and had the steak offer. Well- we both had chicken on the same offer. Great reception from Chris (owner) and Becky on front of house. Meal very nicely cooked to order and waiting staff very attentive and pleasant. Great value meal including a bottle of wine!! What more can you ask for?

We had a lovely meal at Korks for my birthday. My daughter is vegan and they catered for her with no problem and she really enjoyed her meal. The staff are always really helpful and make you feel welcome.

Very friendly staff. Superlative food at very reasonable prices. My party thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I would recommend this bistro to anyone who either lives in or is visiting the Otley area.

Always a lovely place to dine. Dinner for two, then into the brilliant live music venue afterwards. One of the best thing about Korks is it is 300 yards from our home!

All our party's food was very good, served by very pleasant staff. The establishment décor is very tired and spartan and therefore lessens the dining experience. Also not over enamoured by the unnecessary piped music Such a shame when the food is so good.

Great place to eat, really good menu, even good vegetarian food that was delicious, the staff were really friendly and to top it off it's a great venu for an intimate gig.

The 4of us had a lovely evening at korks. We were given a warm, friendly welcome and everything we had to eat was lovely. The service was excellent and we all agreed that we would eat there again

Service good - Becky huge asset - always cheery and efficient. Sunday evening good value - but had two steaks - one thick and lovely - the other thinner and quite tough!

Back to Korks again!! Ten of us this time. No complaints, perfect service and then into the back room for a fantastic music evening! Thanks Korks!

I love the atmosphere in Korks and the food is excellent, the staff are attentive. The menu is good and they also have seasonal dishes available .

Regular lunch dates here-food tradional and excellent -lunch time portions huge 2 course only £12 lovely atmoshere and service! Evening meals just as good with a wide choice menu to suit everyone!

I think we hit a bad night at Korks. The atmosphere is lovely, candlelit and cosy. The staff work hard and are friendly and helpful. And on our first visit a few months ago the hood was fab and service was prompt. Sadly our recent second visit was not such a happy experience as we had to wait more than an hour between starters and mains. The food, when it came, was good but our evening had been spoiled by the long wait. Shame really.

korks is pleasant, busy and popular, it has really good food with plenty of choice and it is conveniently located in the centre of town.

Korks is a family favourite and whether it is lunch, Sunday lunch or evening dinner everything is always top notch!!! Menu is varied, changed often and always delicious! Been going now for 30 years or more, what more can be said!!

Always a pleasure to eat at Korks. Very a living staff. Food from early bird menu,delicious,well cooked and presented. Choice seasonal. I liked it. Definitely recommended.

We go here very regularly. The food is always delicious and this time was no exception. The waiting staff are all friendly and attentive and there is an extensive wine list. The atmosphere is great.

Good ambience, great service, good value. seafood dishes we had (prawns, queanies whiting) and pork fillet superb. Slow cooked beef a tad salty. Well worth visiting. We shall return!

Korks was good as ever. Lovely meal from the new menu, 2 courses each, but too full for sweet. Very good choice of wine, we had a lovely NZ sauvignon.

I thought that the restaurant offered excellent seafood and good friendly service. The menu is quite small but thats not always a bad thing. overall very good.

Good food and an unexpected bonus of an early bird menu at £18 per head, which was welcome as the wine tag was quite hefty. Would certainly go again and maybe try something from the extensive full menu and cut back on the booze a little

Had a great night there with a friend I hadn't seen for over 30 years. The service and food was excellent and I will definitely go back despite the 40 mins driveto get there.

Very friendly helpful staff and delicious food. And we love the decor and atmosphere. A perfect place for an informal get together or a quiet meal for two.

We visited here on a Friday evening. The quality of the food and service did not disappoint. Have dined here before and definitely will again.

The meal was tasty but expensive for the size of portion coupled with a very small container of vegetables for 4 individuals. So after many years of going to Korks we will not be going again !

We dine here on a regular basis. Have brought friends from abroad here to dine and a friend who used to own an award winning restaurant in Scotland was very impressed with the food and the selection of wines! Food always good, the staff very friendly and only a few hundred yards away from where we live!

Fabulous food fabulous service . There were 8 in our party and everyone loved their dishes. Perfect a,out of choice a great evening had by all.

Our first three choices of main course were not available but were still showing on the menu boards. So rather disappointing choices. What we had, when it came was fine. Seemed more expensive than last time we came.

Loved the food and fantastic service. Not the restaurants fault but we were sat next to a group of loud old people who swore all the time. Just took the edge of the evening.

Excellent food with cheerful service. I did find the hard wooden chairs were not comfortable, though some others did have cushions. I would go back though.

Lovely atmosphere good food and friendly staff . Always great value particularly the ménage a trios tapas . I recommend lamb tagine prawns and crab cake combination .

Good menu which should suit everyone. Food was lovely and helpings were generous but not over the top. Service was ok and the waitresses were attentive. We visit this restaurant every couple of months and look forward to a lovely meal and good music.

Excellent lunch and great value. All the party had a wonderful time. All will be back. Great staff and a very good selection of wines was a bonus.

1st class Sunday lunch, beef and lamb were fab. Friendly place and not expensive. Normal menu looks great with plenty of variation. Will be back soon

Great all ways round. We had a very enjoyable evening including being greeted personally by the owner/ chef who gave us a lot of information about his vast stocks of red wine Es!

The atmosphere was very good; there is quite a buzz about the place. Food and wine were good. Disappointed with the size of the salmon fillet and also the veg portion which was only enough for one really. My husband had the pate and there was two very small pieces of toast and quite a good portion of pate. We ask for more toast and got bread rather than toast. We had the Early Bird menu and although that was not particularly a great bargain at £18 for 2 courses, I wonder if that was why the portions sizes were on the small side?

Lovely food - always looks appetizing. Staff great - very friendly and helpful. Will be going back as soon as we can. The Early Bird on Wednesdays is a particularly good offer at 2 for 1 with a varied menu.

The food is superb. The atmosphere is great. The staff are excellent. It's Otley's best restaurant by a country mile. Can hold its own against anything you might find in a 'bigger' city.
