Very friendly staff, good beer and excellent food, we ate there as we were at a gig there later that evening, we had a great time.

Great food and wine ,the starter of king prawns especially good as was the French onion soup . Great atmosphere was very busy . Hope to visit again soon

Excellent food at a good price, happy welcoming staff. great wines and a nice atmosphere. Regular entertainment too - no wonder we keep on returning!

Warm welcome, we chose the Sunday evening Steak deal which was excellent. Best restaurant chips I have eaten in a long time. Service very good, no room for a pudding but finished with a more than acceptable coffee. A very acceptable wine, we choose to have white, was served as a part of the deal.

Very nice atmosphere. The staff are very attentive and pleasant. The food is always good however my wife had steak and although very nice it could have been presented better on the plate, a bit of colour would have helped, salad etc. Overall can't complain.

There were 6 of us in the party. We went for the Sunday offer of 2 steak meals with sides and a bottle of wine. This offer also included 2 veggie options as well. The staff were wonderful and the food was delicious. We all had a great evening.

Excellent as always. Lovely carmenere to drink. Best nachos around, salmon and sea bream were delicious. Also had a taste of the beef shin, which was also fab All 4 of us loved our meals!

Had a lovely evening meal in this super restaurant and ate off the set/early evening menu. The food was amazing and Tge staff were very helpful and obliging will never come again.

Food was fine. It was sometimes lacking in flavour, for example the spring veg pasta lacked seasoning and the liver was a bit tough. Service was friendly. A good neighbourhood restaurant.

Really nice friendly atmosphere, good service and great food. Reasonable prices too given location. Only visited due to a gig there but glad we had the food too.

We enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere again very much. Best fish pie we had for a long time. We will be back soon in a couple of months.

The food was great. Jane had vege rissotto which was tasty, I had chicken, which was cooked perfectly. restaurant was cold, service ok (I got wrong starter).

Lovely meal in a very convivial setting. Sunday lunch 2 courses for £15 is excellent value. My lamb was beautifully cooked and presented, my partner's goat's cheese was declared 'delightful'. Friendly and attentive staff. All in all, highly recommended.

Great menu for the early bird dinner. Fresh and seasonal ingredients cooked very well. Excellent value for money. The restaurant is always warm and cosy with a nice atmosphere. Good service. I eat at Korks regularly.

As always, we had a very pleasant Sunday evening meal at Korks. We ate early (6.45pm) but by 7.30/7.45pm the place was buzzing. Would thoroughly recommend.

We all enjoyed our food choices and the service was very friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend Korks and hope to return ourselves before long.

We as a party of four were very discounted in Korks. It seems to have to the same menu no changes since we last went some months ago, I would have though that being Christmas it would have been a bit more seltive on giving a special board with Xmas food on it, even table weren't decorated no crackers etc., very poor service some spillages on drinks handed over from waiter to customers. Possible won't re visit this place again, it was also very expensive for the food we had.

The five of us enjoyed our meal but the two who had pheasant considered it overcooked. Every thing was well presented and the staff delightfu.l

Haven't been to Korks for awhile - something that will be remedied - as our meal and experience last night were excellent. The food was delicious and we were still offered the early bird option despite the time having lapsed. The staff and service were just great. We shall return again - thank you for a top night.

Went on Valentines night - no rip off pricing as you get nearly everywhere else. Great food, great wine and great service with a smile - always a pleasure to visit.

Korks is a great place to relax and enjoy excellent food and wine especially with friends. It has a great atmosphere and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive at all times, even when they're really busy, which is why you're always best to book ahead. the variety and freshness of the food is a treat as are the prices, which are extremely reasonable for such quality. Try it you'll love it!

Been going to this bistro for around 30 years and the food, staff & atmosphere are first rate. Its always our first choice because we can depend on the quality.

Interesting place with good food and friendly staff. A bit idiosyncratic - eg no menus - you choose from a board by the bar. Seem to have found the slimmest girls in town to be waitresses - which adds to the pudding guilt factor.

We go here very regularly. The food is always delicious and this time was no exception. The waiting staff are all friendly and attentive and there is an extensive wine list. The atmosphere is great. Would definitely recommend.

Great service and choice. Only crit was my pork was a little dry, black pudding was fine. Overall a very pleasant visit. Will go again.

Lovely Sunday lunch with my mother in a lovely restaurant in Otley, West Yorkshire. Inexperienced but enthusiastic staff made a few mistakes but none were important and the owner was watching! Overall very satisfactory experience and I'll be back.

Lovely food but very young, inexperienced staff who had a lack of communication between each other. We were asked 2/3 times if we wanted to order, drinks or if everything was ok- slightly annoying and felt like we were pestered

Staff brilliant,food superb, value for money excellent. Overall a wonderful experience. I was once a regular at this restaurant but hadn't been there for a couple of years but decided to celebrate my wife's birthday there. What a wise decision.

Our overall experience was ok - the food was very good however it was a lunch meal but the dining area was cold and draughty, I did overhear a few people saying so, infact we moved tables .

Slow service on arrival left waiting to be shown to our table, had to order food at the bar it was ok, but nothing over special.

Good meal, Lindisfarne oysters satisfactory, French onion soup as good as ever,smoked haddock mornay was most tasty excellent service and reasonable prices. House wine very acceptable

Good food friendly staff, we have been eating here for a number of years. Can get very busy on Saturday nights so booking is usually required, and sometimes the service is a bit slow.
