The food was excellent as always, unfortunately the shami kebabs came smothered in onions! My husband is allergic to onions so I had to eat them! (We hate waste)! Because I’d not planned on having a starter I had little room for my main course which I enjoyed but was unable to finish- such a shame!

Food still very good, attentive service. However general ambiance is lacking, lots of noisy ovespill from adjoining tables, not good for couples or smaller groups. Too bright, decoration requires updating and general facilities require upgrade.

Came here often as a child, and dined recently twice as an adult, same every time, delicious food, great service, with lovely friendly staff, I will continue to eat here!

Yet again, another excellent evening, great food and service. The chicken poori starter is amazing, kind of like an Indian spin Ona fajita, and the chicken garlic chilli main course could have been a bit spicier for my taste but was still absolutely excellent.

Had a tasty tikka and aubergine bhaji. The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance complete with goldfish pond and a Thar desert tent. The only comment is to improve ventilation of the dining room. When they serve fajitas the smell can be overpowering. Suppose it is part of the experience.

Staff very polite and efficient, food tasted great and well priced. As it was my husbands birthday his meal was free, which was a pleasant surprise.

Good food and warm ambiance. After 20 years remains a favourite spot for dinner and meeting friends. Mostly northern Indian dishes and wide choice of beverages.

We could not fault the food or service. The food was excellent and the serving staff were friendly and efficient. We will be back soon.

Good food bad waiting time. Had table booked for 6pm. Served starter 6.10pm Didnt get main meal until 7.05pm Wasnt that busy when we went in at 6 p.and was half full when we left.

Very good food and reasonably priced. Good service and attractive surroundings including water fountain with goldfish. Menu typically Indian but the tandoori chicken stood out.

Excellent and very friendly service. The food was tremendous, from the starters, to the mains and the chilli naan. Great value using a Groupon voucher and very easy to ‘upgrade’ to other meals or from a basic naan etc.

Fabulous food and excellent service. I would particularly recommend the Tandoori Fish which is absolutely amazing. We went with children on a Saturday evening and felt very welcome. A great evening!

We've been dining at Jahangir for over 20 years, and have never experienced anything less than a delicious meal. The buffet, served on Friday and Sunday evenings, is an inexpensive and tasty offering. Things to look out for: • The amazing prawn Puri • Exciting thali options if you like to try a selection of dishes • Watch the amazing fish in the pond as you wait between courses

Good food had the buffet was excellent value for money service was as always very good well looked after and we will be back again always a favourite of ours

It was a great experience. The food was well prepared and the service was excellent. I would recommend the restaurant to anybody looking for a great Indian meal. They even gave a non-alcoholic beer for people like me.

Great service, great food, great deal on Groupon. Would have been happy even paying normal prices as I always find the curry’s to be really tasty, with great sauces and ingredients, rather than generic red curry’s I’ve had elsewhere.
