Great food and atmosphere. Reasonably priced and delicious cocktails - would reccomend and return. The service was also exceptional and our waiter was very helpful.

As good as ever, a great location in the heart of the City delivering good American style food in a lovely setting.

The food at Jackson & Rye is always tasty and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is very relaxed but the staff are incredibly attentive and wanting to go the extra mile.

Very nice pancakes, sizeable portions, excellent service smiling and helpful, lovely space airy and nicely decorated and not noisy. Reasonably priced. Perfect for a business breakfast to actually get a conversation going.

Service was actually really good - the servers were friendly and efficient. The restaurant itself had a good vibe and was quite busy - a little too noisy for conversation though - and this was a Tuesday evening! However the food wasn't great. I had a rib eye and it was so bland, even with the truffle sauce. We ordered a few sides which were mediocre - mash not very creamy, spinach - too pureed. The chips were ok. The fried squid was pleasant although it needed salt. All in all, it was ok - I would only return if someone else was paying to perhaps try something else, but wouldn't waste my money again.

Service was sporadic given it wasn't that busy in the restaurant, and food is ok but nothing stand out. Ok for a bite to eat after work but probably wouldn't make it a regular choice.

The cocktails were delicious but the food was not particularly great. The fries that accompanied my burger tasted stale or if they had been cooked earlier and simply warmed up. My friend's prawn linguini was dry and tasted as if it had been thrown together after being cooked separately - there were no punchy flavours in that dish. She had specifically asked for it be made without capers and it came with lots of capers! While the apple tart and creme brûlée desserts were fine, the chocolate sundae was odd with coming with a chocolate ball of cream on top and absolutely hard and complete frozen chocolate pieces even after 20 minutes of eating it. Left unsatisfied and not great value for money.

Excellent setting for Friday lunch and good service, particularly when helping a guest with food allergies. Food quality was high. Would return with a client again.

Good location in the city. Went for drinks and nibbles around 3:30pm so it was quiet. A good wine selection. Delicious food. Would recommend the ribs!

Good service. Good food. Good location. Fair prices. Nothing special, but perfectly good. Wouldn’t wade across the river to get here but If I need a decent restaurant near Bank (and Goodmans is full) I’d happily go back to Jackson and Rye

Lovely food and good atmosphere, the service at the beginning was slow but it was fine as we were having a good chat. Tip, get a drink at the bar before you sit down!

Enjoy going here for a cheeky breakfast or a quick lunch. The service is usually very fast. Food is good and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. :)

Caught up with an old friend on Friday afternoon at Jackson&Rye. The service was good, quick, friendly and attentive. The burgers are great and the beers nice and cold... exactly what we were looking for.

Good quality food with a fast, efficient and friendly service in a laid back friendly and comfortable atmosphere, made for an enjoyable lunchtime experience on a wet Friday.

Very much enjoyed my evening at Jackson & Rye. It's quite a spacious restaurant with a sizeable bar so you don't feel cramped. Didn't spend any time in the bar though it looked like quite a lively place to have a few drinks with friends. My friends and I had dinner there instead. Nice décor, music that wasn't too loud so you could actually have a conversation (something that you can no longer do in many London restaurants). The service was very good - friendly, unobtrusive. The only very small hiccup was that it took a little bit of time for our drinks to arrive but not long enough to lower my score here! the food was very tasty and the prices were in line with the area (not cheap, but it's in the City of London so you don't expect cheap). We were left to our own devices, to enjoy our evening without feeling that we had to clear off at any time so we could just relax and enjoy the evening. A big plus for some would be that the loos, though downstairs, are accessible as there is a lift that can take you down and then no stairs to deal with once you're down. All in all we very much enjoyed ourselves and would go back without hesitation!

Very good breakfast. Polite and friendly service. Coffee took longer than expected to arrive, given the restaurant wasn’t busy. Overall very good though. Will definitely go again for breakfast, the menu looks interesting.

Lovely staff, and they corrected for a mistake they made with a dietary requirement. Handled it really well and made sure we had an enjoyable rest of the evening!

we had a lovely time. Food was great and the service was awesome. Only issue I would like to mention was there were two salts on the table instead of one salt and one pepper so I ended up putting more salt than required on my food thinking one was pepper. The waiter apologised when I asked for pepper. That was good enough.

Good food, reasonable prices for a City venue. Service good but at times we felt a little hurried to decide on our order but was still good. Errors were corrected quickly and without fuss

Always good food but on this occasion service left a little to be desired - multiple waiters serving our table but they got simple things wrong like forgetting our water, putting water in the wrong glasses, forgetting milk for our coffees, etc.

Fantastic meal, good wine, and the food was really good quality and taste. The waiting staff sometimes were sometimes slow to come and check if we needed anything, we waited a long time for the bill to come and then again for someone to come with the card machine

Considering it was very quiet in the restaurant the service was quite slow. We did not receive our hot drinks straight away and then it was a very longtime before our food was served by which time our drinks had been finished or had gone cold. A member of our group did not receive their breakfast until 10/12 minutes after everyone else which was due to a fault with the ticket as it had to be hand written supposedly. We have been to Jackson & Rye a few times and every time we come with high hopes there seem to always be one thing which lets it down or isn't quite up to the standard which is shown elsewhere in the restaurant.

Jackson and Rye is over the road from where I work. It is quick, convenient & tasty. The staff are really great, friendly & always welcoming.
