Rather disappointed in this restaurant....need a change in the menu....did not clear starter plates before delivering the mains....one of the mains had clearly been forgotten, as it showed up 20 mins after everyone else...not sure I will go here again having visited it previously been there several times in the past

excellent meal, good service, relaxed atmosphere in the city area.

Whilst the food was enjoyable, the service was hugely disappointing. We waited ten minutes before a drinks order was taken and when our meals arrived, we were missing two sides that were additional orders and fries that were intended to come with the sharing platter. Considering it is part of the dish, it was a surprise not to see it. More baffling was when we were given a chicken salad that had no chicken in! The poor service continued when, after the main plates had been collected, 20 minutes passed before anyone came to see if we wanted any desserts, by which point we had been there for so long that we had to go back to work. We didn’t think asking for the bill would take 15 minutes and yet another 10 after that for anyone to come and bring the card machine. A member of staff only came over once a few of us decided to get up from the table and bring the bill to the bar. Considering the restaurant wasn’t busy, the service was extremely poor.

Good venue for a lunch - service was quick and food good.

Food was amazing but it was a real struggle to be served. The restaurant was half empty, but we were passed by consistently. A larger table arrived after we had ordered our drinks, and proceeded to get their drinks, their food and their bill all before we did. We had to wave and call out to get attention. Not good.

Staff placed me and my guest on separate tables despite my reservation. Long wait for breakfast before work, despite seemingly quiet restaurant. Seems to have gone downhill since last visit unfortunately.

Simple American fair in well furnished convenient city location. Went for three burgers on the table all cooked well.

They forgot that my colleague was gluten free, so had to take her order away and re-do it, which was a bit of a pain as we were having an early breakfast before work, so were in a bit of a rush.

Amazing staff and service, great food and drinks! A little bit loud for chatting - but it was a Friday night so the music was cranked up (and so were the patrons’ voices!)

Was not a very good experience at all! I would not advise anyone to get the sharing platters. It was only fit for two 5yr olds to share. Three chicken wings between two people, one small cornbread between two people. That is after we waited 20 minutes to get served, although people arrived after us and was served first!

A nice relaxed restaurant in the heart of the city with a nice menu.

Really good service and great food. Staff were really friendly.

Had to be asked to be served. Put near to noisy table. Plus noise of music. Eggs Royale was smothered in hollandaise and the eggs were cold.

Awful food had to send my steak back they cannot cook a medium rare

Unfortunately the venue has changed since l was last there and is now just a bar. However the manager arranged for us to move next door to cote so was extremely helpful.

Staff seemed fairly rushed off their feet and forgot some of my order. Lunch took a long time to be served - Lunchtime service should be fast as we have to get back to our desks.

The place is very cosy, staff members very attentive and food is delicious! Totally recommend!

Starter was lovely we ordered the squid and it was delicious. When we got our mains they were cold so we sent it back to the kitchen. The waiter gave us a round of free drinks which was appreciated however when we got our mains again the temperature wasn’t that much warmer than the first dishes sent to us. Not very impressed.

Good food however the service was the major detraction. Our waiter made the ordering experience feel extremely rushed, which was odd because the restaurant wasn't crowded and it took ages to get our drinks. I'm glad the food arrived quickly and was tasty

The food was delicious and arrived very promptly. However, the service after that was quite slow and we waited quite a while to have our plates taken away and get the bill.

Our Italian waitress was fabulous, food was great and not too expensive for central London

It was very busy and on a table of two felt we were pushed up against the pole. It was very noisy and felt as though we were packed in tightly. Shame as it wasn't like that before.

Booked for a lunch and had a very tasty chicken burger, very good fries and chipotle mayo.

Music too loud and felt rushed to make decisions on food choices.

It was a good place to go for a quick City lunch.

Great service but rather a long wait for what is quite simple food. I suspect the kitchen was short staffed. A steak ordered rare was served well done but was cheerfully replaced albeit with another long wait.

Nice place, with a great atmosphere. The food was great and we really enjoyed our food. More vegan options would be lovely :)

When we arrived there was a booth available so we sat there. The small table for two that was reserved was too small. Food was good as was service even though the restaurant was busy.

Used to love this place, however when we went last week as a couple for dinner, we discovered that they’ve removed the restaurant part, so it’s all just the bar area, which is extremely loud. We spent the meal in silence staring at our phones because we couldn’t hear each other over the loud music and the large party next to us. Won’t be coming back to eat, although I might go for after work drinks

I had booked a table for 5 for lunch and I called approx 10 minutes before our booking time to pre order our lunches. I was told our booking would be cancelled as the the electricity had gone down in the whole street. I was not contacted by the restaurant to inform me of the incident and just had to find another restaurant.

Great location and a good breakfast. Booked again, so must be good.

Good food, good drink, good service! Great venue for dinner

Waiter was bang average, very slow, forgot our fries and beers and tried to charge us for them. Food was good but service let you down.

Here for my birthday dinner. Very good food, excellent service and a glass of rose fuzz on the house to celebrate. What more could you want?

Service was fantastic. They overheard someone say happy birthday away my table and brought us a congratulatory drink. Food was good, noise levels make it a good place for a business lunch

I used to like this place until your did a makeover. Music too loud, not enough tables, did not like the area of where the tables were and menu very limited. Waitress service was good . Wont be going there again
