This was my 4th visit to Jack O’Bryans and again the food was delicious, service was very good from the friendly team. So nice and relaxed and did not feel rushed to allow another sitting in, the table was ours for the afternoon. Thanks again team J. O
Very nice place, great atmosphere. It was my first time at this restaurant, I had lunch, but will go for dinner next time. Thank you
Great food and great atmosphere would definitely recommend it and will absolutely go back again.
Second visit and luvly food n staff somewhere a wee bit different for Dunfermline
Been a few times.. always great food and staff pleasant without being obtrusive. Great value for lunch menu
Great food! Had a lovely Saturday lunch! Would go again!
A lovely quiet retreat to enjoy good food served well. A joy for Dunfermline and I wish them well for the future.
Great service and amazing food I would definitely recommend a visit
Great food, great service, a little expensive but don’t mind paying to have such quality
Wonderful experience! The food was exquisite and waiting staff were all very attentive. Just what Dunfermline needed. Will definitely be back soon.
First visit and we loved it. Lunch Menu extensive and value for money. Food was excellent as was the service. Definitely returning and would recommend

Fantastic food, great friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.
Fantastic meal, well worth the money. Excellent staff and service.
Excellent food, we visited the previous restaurant at another location. Stand out food and different with an edge albeit there is a cost premium. Would happily visit again
First visit , will certainly be back soon , excellent food and service scallops, Cullen skink and sole were fabulous
Lovely restaurant, has a lovely feel to it. The food and service were great as usual. That was my third visit and intend to have a fourth. Thanks all.
It was okay, food was very expensive but a bit bland

Fantastic food and service. Highly recommend going here. Book first!
Excellent meal with a great choice to choose from. Portions were a really good size too.
First visit and definitely won’t be my last! Lovely selection of food and all beautifully presented.
Warm and friendly welcome. Ordered the lamb hotpot for lunch which was delicious. Will definitely be back next time for dinner .
We went for a midweek lunch. The restaurant was busy for the time of week. Great value restaurant and a good choice of food. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality dining experience at reasonable prices.
Pleasantly surprised. If the restaurant is able to maintain the same consistent standards that we experience last night, it is sure to become a local favourite in Dunfermline.
Great food, great service. Brilliant addition to Dunfermline. Will be back.
Good, but atmosphere not as good as last time. Seemed a bit stressed
Excellent place for dinner. It was our anniversary and we had a lovely time. Food was excellent. I really enjoyed the Iberian fish dish and my husband enjoyed the butcher block.
The food and service were excellent, we had chicken and Iberian fish supper followed by lovely desserts of lemon tart and a rhubarb medley of flavours. Thestaff were very welcoming and attentive. Dunfermline needs a restaurant like this for a special meal out.
Had an amazing meal at jack o byrans food was delicious best meal I’ve had for a while and service was excellent will definitely be back again
Absolutely amazing food . All 3 courses were stunning . Very friendly and attentive staff. Great to have such a excellent restaurant in Dunfermline. Well decorated and had a very nice intimate atmosphere .
Very enjoyable visit from start to finish. Michelle and her team were friendly and welcoming. The food was fantastic. We have already booked to go again. Can't wait. Thanks guys.
Great food and great service a welcome and much needed addition to Dunfermline. The choice of dishes is excellent and there is something to please everyone prepared to a very high standard
Fabulous lunch. My first visit but definitely not my last. A warm welcome on arrival, great food and wine. Friendly and attentive service. Love the interior. Will definitely be back soon.
Food was good & restaurant staff were very good. popular place and convenient setting for all tow amenities. No doubt we wish you success in the future and will be returning in the very near future. many thanks.
Booked online, then responded to email to reconfirm the day before and then gained phone call 45 minutes before due at table to confirm again - was in a hurry at this stage and a little irritated by the call. Understand demand high for tables however please don’t harass customers. Decor is lovely. Menus were in need of a clean as greasy/marked. Drinks pushed a little too much and menu heavy on meat and fish; one of the 2 vegetarian starters unavailable and can’t remember seeing a main course? Mains were well presented and fish and Piri Piri chicken well cooked. Desserts lovely. Overall - felt booking and service pushy, to the point we were not inclined to order more drinks, wouldn’t recommend the cocktail. Coffees served earlier than requested. Experience - we felt it was over priced and that they need to tone down the booking and sales aspect.
Portion sizes could be bigger Cocktails are too strong - could be mixed better, maybe have bigger glasses for the gin cocktails rather than regular classes
Little gem of a restaurant in Dunfermline, food was delicious, recommend the scallops and lamb, staff attentive and friendly which added up to a lovely evening.
My husband and I had a starter and main course each. The menu was not too big which makes it easier to choose. The food was beautifully presented and appetising. My ravioli starter was freshly prepared. The service was quick but not too quick with very pleasant staff. The restaurant decor is modern, intimate and fairly small with a welcoming atmosphere. The accompanying wine and cocktails were average price and delicious.
Nice experience from start to finish. Staff were all very helpful, polite and attentive. Nice variety of dishes on the menu and all reasonably priced.
Food was excellent & staff were very attentive. Situation of the restaurant at the Glen gates makes it quite accessible and attractive; atmosphere inside is welcoming & relaxed.
Food was good, but too expensive.. 2 starters, 2 mains and a bottle of house wine and one desert with coffee.. £92... we just feel it’s £22 to expensive. Staff very friendly. But being in Edinburgh and Glasgow, with same standard of food, and being cheaper, felt it wasn’t good value for money.
Food was nice. I didn’t have a sweet but my wife did. She assured me it was great and visually, it looked fantastic. Service was really slow. Also a smile during service wouldn’t go a miss. Heard great things from Lothian side, but was left disappointed to be honest. Hate being negative, but just being honest
First time in this fab new restaurant. Just what Dunfermline needs. Great food, effortless professional service, tasteful and comfortable surroundings and good value for money. Welcome to Dunfermline and we will definitely be back.
We had a Lovely lunch at this new restaurant in Dunfermline. It was busy so we were glad we booked. Food and service both lived up to the comments we'd read on social media and lunch prices were reasonable for a decent meal. Go, enjoy, you won't be disappointed. Cheers
Amazing food. Michelle the host was absolutely lovely from the minute we entered the restaurant until we left. The staff were all lovely checking if we needed more drinks just a very friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend this little gem.
They had a busy day and had ran out of alot of dishes. Which happened to be the ones I wanted. Quite expensive for location.
The food was delicious, both starters, mains and my dessert. Our main courses arrived piping hot and were very tasty. I had the rhubarb dessert and it tasted every bit as good as its beautiful looks. The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and welcoming. There is nothing else like this restaurant in Dunfermline and it is a wonderful addition to the area. We enjoyed it so much that we booked our next meal there before we left.
Good food but service and ambience was lacking. Needs to decide whether it is a bar or a restaurant or communicate this more clearly to its customers. Fabulous Oysters and good wine do not go well with folks in off the street for shots.
