The restaurant decor is lovely, informal , minimalist and modern. Staff were very pleasant. Good unhurried service. Food was very good.......very well cooked a well presented. My only negative comment is on price......,......I think that it is slightly over-priced.............one crab ravioli for £8! Nevertheless nice to see Dunfermline moving forward with its culinary offerings.

Lovely meal, food was delicious. Service was good. Not overly intrusive yet very attentive. More pricey than some other venues we would usually partake in however it's perfect for a special occasion and we'll definetly be back.

We were at Jack O’Bryans today for my husband’s Fathers Day. Everything was lovely, especially the food and service. Our table was at an awkward place, being right beside the bar and a bit of a bottle neck.

I asked for a kids menu and when I arrived I was told they could do fish or chicken and chips so no kids menu and then proceeded to charge me £9 plus a drink and then his desert. Food was not value for money, I ordered the scallops and had two small and one medium and again charged £9. The steaks were average at best, I had the fillet and it was surprisingly fatty. Again very over priced at £28 and you had to order veg separate as only came with chips and a salsa. No choice of sauce. The desert was their special and a cherry number which was delicious. The staff were friendly! Over all the food was not worth the money at all!

Absolutely first class with my beautifully presented seafood platter that would stand comparison with any up market big city restaurant. Wines are also very good if full priced but overall at about £50 per head for a 2 course meal including drinks and coffee, I certainly feel that we "got what we paid for" in outstanding quality of food and service.

Recommended by a friend and definitely worth a visit. Lovely little place with smart clean decor. Portion size excellent and quality of food very good. Time between starters and mains a bit longer than expected but not too great as to be annoying. Will go back again as the menu has lots of variety not otherwise available locally.

I had piri piri chicken which was lovely my husband had a mixed grill which looked lovely but was a bit dry.. could’ve done with a sauce on the side or some vegetables.. overall lovely ambiance lovely staff..a tad overpriced, would only come for special occasions or just with hubby couldn’t afford to bring the family for weekly meals xx

Good choice of dishes,loved the scone and tea/coffee deal. It was the first time my son and his partner had visited the restaurant with us and they loved it.

Heard great things and wasn't disappointed, had the sea bass salad which was probably not what l would have normally ordered but it was very tasty, the posh fish and chips were also really good. Attentive staff, very helpful and friendly. All round a very pleasant dining experience.

Even before entering, the exterior with hanging baskets, planters and outside seating looks very inviting. Inside is modern and attractive making best use of the old buildings best features. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Food was excellent, extremely generous portions. Too much for me. Wine reasonably priced and good choice. We were all very impressed and wish them every success in Dunfermline.

First visit to this restaurant and I found it exceptional. Terrific service, excellent food great atmosphere.
