A most enjoyable meal, an excellent menu excellent service will certainly be back.
Enjoyed our evening in the restaurant and looking forward to a return visit
Another excellent meal tonight. Staff so friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend
Fabulous family meal celebrating my daughters birthday. Waiters/waitresses were excellent
Excellent service and food. So much so we have booked to return for dinner in a few weeks. Great to have somewhere special in Dunfermline.
As always fantastic service and food couldn't fault anything even brought friends for first visit and they thought the same.
excellent meal as always. nice place and very friendly staff.
had been to this restaurant prior to lockdown and thoroughly enjoyed the food. when we discovered it was open during the current restrictions, we decided to head along for a lunch. very tasty, just unfortunate we couldn't buy a nice wine to accompany the food.
1st time visitors after hearing lots of good things, we were not disappointed and look forward to returning. The mocktails were a nice touch. The cheese board was tasty and plenty of variety of accompanying nibbles. We both had fish options that were very tasty for our mains, only quibble wife would have liked some veg with her crispy sole and chips, my sea bass special was excellent. Duck n orange salad was my wifes highlight.
Great food, great glass of mulled wine and lovely service!
Most of the dishes were delicious. Cullin Skink not so.
Lovely warm atmosphere, great service and fabulous food. Never disappoints.
Lovely meal, fab service. Really enjoyed our meal here. Langoustines were amazing
We went for lunch this time having been for dinner previously. As always the whole experience was exceptional. It is our favourite place in Dunfermline.
Great food, good service. Nice for a treat. Travelled over from Edinburgh for lunch and it was well worth the trip.
This restaurant is above and beyond any other in Dunfermline. The food is absolutely beautiful and the staff are very welcoming.
Had a meal in Edinburgh last week not a patch on this excellent
Arrived and taken straight to our table. Very fast service. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was excellent! A lovely little restaurant not to be missed. We will be back!
Was our anniversary and could not have picked a better restaurant. Food and service was first class.
Amazing food with fabulous presentation. Great, friendly service. First time here. Will be back
Lovely meal really enjoyed all of it shame we can never manage dessert!!
One month on, the food is consistently excellent. Great value as the restaurant’s generous continuation of the “eat out to help out” deal through October. Experience this time was as good as the last, hence a similar review. Menu changes frequently and there are always specials on the go. Their fishes are great.
Fantastic food at the normal price but great value at the restaurant’s generous continuation of the “eat out to help out” deal. Menu changes frequently and there are always specials on the go. Their fishes are great.
Food and service were both excellent. Will definitely be back.
Fantastic food again .Will be back . Happy people . Thanks
First, & not last, visit to Jack O'Bryans. Fantastically laid out restaurant, well positioned hand sanitiser stations for current Covid restrictions, and a warm cosy atmosphere. Temperature checks on arrival. Staff catered to our every need promptly, professionally and courteously with all the necessary precautions and mitigations. Food was absolutely and amazingly tasty. I ordered scallops to start & sticky beef salad as a main. Presentation of the food was delightfully appealing and the flavours were outstanding and delicate. As a driver, I would have preferred a non-alcoholic wine with my meal but settled for the only non-alcoholic beer (Erdinger) according to the menu. Great place!
Lovely meal with very high quality ingredients. We both had fish, monkfish and sole which were both cooked beautifully. Very safe procedures for COVID and friendly staff
Every time we visit we are blown away! It is without a doubt the best restaurant in the town. Food is outstanding, service and atmosphere are perfect. Can’t wait to go back.
We had starters & main meal. Both were extremely tasty & value for money. Delicious!
Fabulous food again. Covid restrictions did not take anything away from the dining experience. Service top notch. Can’t wait to go back again.
The food was beautiful, service was outstanding, would highly recommend
Sublime, only way to describe the food here. Dunfermline has been lacking a high quality food offering since The Townhouse closed its doors several years ago. What’s more is the service is super and the setting relaxed and informal. Check it out and support this independent family restaurant.
We had a fantastic dinner last night. Very well organised during this terrible time we are all going through. We felt very safe and the staff were very professional. We will be back.
Arrived a bit early but not a problem our table was ready. Staff very pleasant and attentive, food and wine excellent.
The ambiance in the restaurant was excellent. Background music perfect. The food was amazing and the service also very good. A bit pricey if paying full price but well worth it.
Lovely place nicely presented some dishes better value than others
The restaurant is very tastefully decorated - even with the Covid guidlines it is still a very nice place . The food was very tasty ... loved the sticky ribs with pear . The whole lemon sole was very good aswell .
Tastebuds popped throughout the visit - service was good and quick and most important of all it felt safe with temperatures taken on arrival and screens between the tables we were at. Highly recommended.
First visit...Well organised staff. Really enjoyed the food, ours was full of flavours and will book again.
Fantastic food and service as always. Love eating here. Highly recommend .
Food tasty - 15 mins for order to be taken then another 30 mins for food to come. Service charge should be optional and not just added to the bill automatically.
Lovely dinner - very well organised and safe food amazing
Food was freshly made to order and great taste and flavours came through. Staff were attentive but not overbearing.
Staff and food were excellent, COVID safety measures in place also
Fantastic food and service - hope that it opens a branch in Linlithgow.
Food was absolutely amazing. Monkfish was the most tender I have ever eaten, scallops were cooked to perfection, steak was succulent, couldn't fault anything. including the wine selection. Menu was not quite as varied as I had seen in previous months - presumably they are serving a slightly cut down menu due to current covid situation - but everything we ordered was excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to go again. Re the covid situation - every precaution has been taken, sanitation stations everywhere, staff are all wearing masks, tables have been widely spaced and stylish perspex screens erected between most of the tables. Everyone in our party felt safe, including my nearly 80 year old mother who was on her first visit to a restaurant since UK lockdown started nearly six months ago. Cannot wait to go again.
This was our 5th visit and as always we enjoyed the experience. Great atmosphere, service and wonderful food.
Gorgeous restaurant, gorgeous food and we completely safe. Thank you
