Isolabella is an Italian restaurant with a very good atmosphere and good tasteful food. The winelist is not very extensive, but the wines are carefully selected and nice.

Food was very good. Pasta cooked al dente so just right. Veal Saltimbocca was tender with a great sauce. Service was attentive but not overbearing. On my list of London restaurants!

The food at Isolabella was excellent and the staff were very friendly, providing great service- I would definitely recommend! Perfect for an occasion or pre-theatre dinner.

Service could have been better but food was very good and reasonably priced. The pizza was excellent and they were very accommodating when I wanted to change something on the menu

Lovely restaurant, very friendly and the food was fantastic. It was very busy, so glad we booked. Good vegetarian selection, would recommend the mushroom risotto, it was delicious.

I celebrated my birthday last night in this cosy elegant place. The food taste really Italian and the manager was really helpful and nice! Recommended!

Isolabella is a lovely restaurant with friendly, professional service and a delicious traditional Italian menu located in a quiet area a very short walk from Holborn tube. We truly enjoyed our meal.

We had a nice meal. However, we live locally and found that the majority of other diners were tourists. So although the restaurant was busy, it lacked a certain atmosphere. Also, I asked for a side of "deep fried potatoes", as was written on the menu, and the waiter, I thought condescendingly turned to me and and said "you mean chips". I didn't like that.

Our favorite London restaurant! With only one night in town, we chose to go back here, and were not disappointed. The food and service continue to be top-notch (even on a Monday night when they were welcoming three large groups for dinner).

Friendly staff and fab food, great place to enjoy. Choice of traditional pizza, risotto and pasta as well as meat and fish dishes. Something for all tastes.

Good food and service. Very nice wine. Would prefer some salt and a pepper grinder on the table to be able to season my food myself, but, generally, a very good experience.

We had a very nice lunch. The food was faultless & the restaurant had a pleasant ambience. The only problem was with the wine. The waiter was a bit slow bringing some red wine to the table (my wife, who thinks her forgot, had to remind him). He also almost removed a bottle of white wine from the ice bucket which had not been finished. Overall it was a good meal & we will certainly be going back.

Loveley food. Good value. Service a bit slow but it was fully booked on a Saturday night. Would recommend it to others and would go again.

Excellent service, calm environment and good choice of well cooked, well presented dishes. Main and dessert and a bottle of wine with coffe came to £65, for London, very reasonable. We will return.

Beautiful setting, very friendly & efficient staff. They catered to my multiple allergies with kindness, efficiency & discretion. In the main the food (chicken livers as starters, halibut and escalopes as mains were nicely presented & well cooked. However the lemon sauce of the escalope was so acidic I ate the escalope off the side plate to avoid the sauce! The zabaione taken as desert was tasty, but needed to be whipped a little lighter.

Isolabella is a good Italian restaurant with a nice atmoshere and friendly service. They have a nice wine list. The saltimbocca I had as a main course was very good.

Food was excellent, very tasty and great value. A warm welcome with great service. Its a while since I've been to an Italian restaurant that has been quite as good as Isolabella - effortless...

The first time we visited this restaurant was a few years ago and we were the only people in, on a Friday night! So we booked a table rather tongue in cheek. But very glad we did. On the first Friday night in December it was heaving, with two birthday parties happening. I ordered the cold roast veg starter which was OK but a bit bland. There were no individual pepper mills and we were served with the minimal amount... Next was a butterfly chicken breast in a creamy mushroom sauce with mash. The mash was wet and sloppy, whereas the chicken was burnt, bitter and hard on one side. That side was put down onto the plate so it wasn't immediately apparent. We were not offered any parmesan cheese, tho' noticing that it was ready grated and served with a teaspoon, I wasn't too disappointed! Had to ask a couple of times for some tap water to accompany an expensive bottle of Italian white wine. All in all an expensive average experience. Expected more, following our previous visit, but we learned that the restaurant is under different management...

First night in London and came across this restaurant online and thought we'd give it a try. And it was so good. Food was excellent, staff were lovely, all at a good price! 10/10 would go again

Classic Italian menu. Friendly and warm service. Pasta cooked to perfection and a delivered with a smile. Would gladly go out of my way to eat here again.

Delicious food & a congenial staff. We enjoyed the saltimbocco & roast chicken dishes as mains, & the wonderful bruschetta as starter. We recommend highly.

The food was ok but my sole was small. Also we were next to the door with a pillar so our table was not the best

The four of us come here roughly every six months to catch up and to sort out the world situation. During our cha we have excellent food and drink in a most relaxed atmosphere.

Nice décor, pleasant staff, and good food, with good sized portions. Couldn't ask for more really from an Italian restaurant. Not outstanding but would certainly visit again.

Excellent, simple pizzas but very well made, staff friendly and attentive. Went on a Tuesday night so maybe lacking a bit of atmosphere but still, a great location for a quiet, tasty and well priced meal. 8/10

The food was excellent - fresh and delicious. And the service was friendly and attentive. I reserved a table for four, but one additional person showed up at the last minute, and the restaurant was happy to accommodate us.

Very helpful staff in a nice busy lunchtime atmosphere. Both my colleagues were impressed with the food, which was excellent quality and well prepared. Helpful, also, with a colleague who was disabled.

Isolabella is a great Italian restaurant. Good food. Excellent value for money and very friendly people. The winelist has a nice variety of wines and are moderately priced.

We were given a separate area to dine in as requested which was important for our evening and much appreciated. One of our guests is lactose intolerant and has told me that the food you provided for him was delicious, as was the rest of the food. Many thanks Lesley

Good atmosphere with kind survive. We ordered pastas as Al dente and all of them were nice. The price was reasonable in this area. I forgot a name but I had a white wine which was sold only a bottle (there were also huge variety of a glass of wines in their list) was very nice.

As always Isolabella was excellent. We were a party of sixteen and all commented how good the food was. The ladies serving us were friendly and efficient and gave us excellent service.

As always, the atmosphere, staff and food were wonderful. It is one of my favourites restaurants in the Holborn area. You don't have to shout to be heard when having a conversation which is so refreshing at lunchtimes. I cannot wait go back again.

Excellent ambience, great accommodating staff. Excellent place for business luncheon. Food very good, but could be a bit more inspired. But will absolutely return. A bit noisy when full, especially if you have a hearing issue. Would like to return for a leisurely dinner.

Isolabella is a smart but unpretentious Italian restaurant in Holborn run by Portugese. I usually go for the fish and, in particular, the Halibut. Everything is fresh and tasty and the wine list is carefully and well chosen.

Great food, nice ambience. Waitress was a little pushy so did feel rushed but overall really nice! Would go again and recommend to friends! Olivia
