Four of us had a very enjoyable meal with good unobtrusive service. We eat early before moving on to a music venue. I would go again.
We love this restaurant. Great Food. Small, but friendly place with good service. If you are in Putney, it is a great choice. They have never let us down.
Fabulous food, lovely atmosphere and great service - always delicious specials - it is always so hard to choose though. We are always made to feel welcome
As it always is, very warm and welcoming with divine food. Would never stray from pasta there, I feel like that's what it's known for.
Good food, good service, though got a little slow once the restaurant started to fill up. Will most likely be going back for another date night!
Pasta dishes were excellent and service was friendly. But the ice-cream in my affogato was not creamy Italian gelato. It had icy bits in it as though it had been melted and re-frozen several times.
Top dollar. Don’t want to say how brilliant this plays was as it will get over-run. Best kept a secret. Food and service amazing. Will be back.
Excellent food and great service in a tiny place with gorgeous ambience A real hidden gem in Putney Sooooo wish there were more places like this
Charming ambiance, delicious (if pricey) food though short on vegetarian options especially as one of the choices marked v wasn't. Rather disappointed that all the less expensive wines were "out of stock" but still on the list and we were only told after we had spent some time deciding.
Great mediterranean restaurant, a lot of amazing dishes, nice wine, good pricing and lovely waiters. We had a great time and would definitely recommend to anyone.
Wonderful food and atmosphere for a weekend lunch or Friday night with friends, try the ravioli dessert. Good wines and friendly service make it a local fave
Very good food, had the Boar ragu which was very good. Good selection and service very good. Very cosy atmosphere which we appreciated more than some of the more well known restaurants.
A fantastic find - one of the best restaurants in Putney! Food was lovely, service was friendly and it was very good value as well!
Delicious homemade pasta (the languoustines were perfectly cooked and plenty of sauce on the pasta) and panna cotta with strawberries was the perfect finish and to top it off, the service was so friendly
Great little restaurant! Staff are friendly and efficient, the food is delicious and the ambiance is lovely. A decent value for money restaurant. The only critism is attention to detail on a few small things could have been better like having to ask for water twice and nowhere to put the languistine shells from my main.
Good food, great service. Thank you very much for an enjoyable lunch. We would certainly book again, are looking forward to it and will see you soon.
Delicious crab and sea bass . Lovely relaxed atmosphere and good staff . The wine recommended was excellent. Lovely night out, it comes highly recommended
First try of this nearby restaurant. Nice atmosphere good decor, slightly cramped ( not a surprise in London). Quite simple menu- starters were adequate, not v inspiring. Lots of pasta choices and the crab linguine was very good. Few meat choices though my partner had an excellent steak. Delicious tiramisu. Friendly owner. Will return. About £50/ head incl wine.
The food was really good - the pasta was incredible. We had rabbit ragu, the crab linguine and I had the ravioli of the day (seabass) which was thoroughly divine, lots of meaty fish in a light summery sauce, New family favourite!
Lovely food. A really super neighbourhood restaurant. All pasta home made, and thoughtfully created daily specials. Interesting Sardinia wine list. Just the loos need sorting. Come on out guys!
The food was delicious and the Sardinian wine excellent and we even got a history lesson on how the grape survived through the various invasions of Sardinia!
This is basically a congenial and well-run restaurant but the non-pasta alternatives are very limited and on this occasion the fish of the day was bland, slightly over-cooked and disappointing.
lovely restaurant, gorgeous food, very nice staff. It is a firm favourite and a first choice. we have never been disappointed- consistently good food and a good experience
A local restaurant for us that consistently prepares top class food in a relaxed setting. We will be back again and again and again.... Recommended!
This is a small Sardinian restaurant just off Putney High St. We went on a Saturday evening when it had a full restaurant and they were turning tables round too as people left. Small menu but everything seems to be cooked fresh. Our one negative comment was that we had to wait quite a while for our main courses but they were delicious when they did appear. Also my husband commented that his panna cotta was the best he'd ever had! We'll go again in the week when perhaps it won't be quite as frantic inside.
Food was excellent, and the staff and service was great throughout the night. A perfect way to spend our Friday evening! We will certainly be going back soon
Very friendly reception on a Saturday night. Good food. Friendly and attentive service. Between us we had beef capacio, bruschetta, venison tagliatelle and ravioli. All well cooked and delightful. Atmosphere bubbled nicely - not too lourd or quiet
Nice atmosphere and pleasant service. The food was good without being stunning. In reality slightly overpriced for what it was. They'd forgotten to add the wine on to the bill.
Lovely pasta dishes, imaginative, nicely presented. Attentive service, relaxed atmosphere. Good wine list, mostly Sicilian. Will definitely go again next time we are in Putney.
Spent a lovely fri night at Isola, lovely food and attentive staff. Not a free table available so glad we booked. Wld definitely return here
The typical sardinian food was delicious and the staff was very nice and welcoming. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Definitely recommended for a lovely dinner.
We had a delicious meal in intimate and friendly surroundings. Prompt and welcoming service in a genuine family restaurant. Staff were attentive without being intrusive.
I thought the ambience , food and service all hit the mark. We organised dinner with our friends and they were very happy. The chef even adapted to the request from our daughter to provide something not on the menu .
Good and wine very good. Had the special, which was sea bass cooked in a salt crust. Would highly recommend. Service efficient and friendly too.
A treasure of a local restaurant. Amazing service & delicious fresh food, in stunning candlelit surroundings. I can't rate this little gem highly enough, delicious!
Great food and polite and attentive staff with a cosy but very warm environment. Reasonable pricing but wine could have been better chilled in advance
A bit pricey, but lovely food and great atmosphere. The venison ragou tagilatelle is devine! Would definitely go back again soon for a special occasion.
Isola de Sol is a small Sardinian restaurant and feels very personal. It has a warm atmosphere, the service is friendly and attentive and the food is excellent. Ask the sommelier about their Sardinian wines - well worth trying!
Beautiful atmosphere, excellent wine, amazing food - particularly the pasta. The service was attentive and helpful. A great find in a hidden location. Will be returning.
This restuarant is one of my very favourites and we are so lucky to have them in Putney. The food is top notch, delicious and inspiring and the service is second to none
The food is amazing! The ambience is absolutely cosy! The waiters are very attentive. Food is really hearty homemade Italian. For Putney it is pricey but really worth paying.
Beautifully made Italian food in a cosy setting tucked away off Putney high Street. We had a great evening there and will definitely be going back.
good food, nice ambience, attentive waiters. We had a very enjoyable evening. An extra friend came who wasn't included in the original booking but that wasn't a problem. The Linguine with crab was just as it should be and so was the Ravioli with Porcini. We'll definitely come back.
Comida muy rica, presentación bonita, lugar tranquilo y servicio bueno. Quizás un poco caro en comparación con otros restaurantes de la zona que son muy buenos también.
Excellent meal, fantastic service, buzzy atmosphere and well priced for London. This little gem is just a short walk from home and I have never been disappointed. I thoroughly recommend it.
Chilled out, cosy restaurant perfect for a cold winter evening. The menu is mostly pasta based. I had the crab linguine which was delicious. The desserts were amazing - we shared a panacotta and tiramisu.
Small, cosy restaurant which never lets you down. Excellent food, wine and service. Sardinian food is slightly different from most Italian restaurants and absolutely fantastic. We will return!
Superb 3 course meal on New Years Eve, the food was delicious and so enjoyable, great atmosphere and everyone was in friendly chatty form which created a nice buzz. Looked after very well by Luke, drinks and food were prompt and we left feeling very full and so glad we'd booked in there. Thanks for a great evening! ☺
Let's start positive the staff were lovely and welcoming. Had high expectations for good Italian food and had starved myself all day in anticipation, start with the bread basket, it was like the cheapest white sliced bread you could buy at the supermarket, Italian breads are brilliant no idea why they didn't serve something more authentic. Main I went for Linguini Vongole the pasta was extremley over cooked like mush, almost seemed like it was left over from lunch and reheated very disappointing at £17 for a bowl of pasta. The aperitif £8.95 for a negroni I expected a glass bigger than a thimble!! Would I return sadly no, would I recommend NO it's way overpriced..
Lovely. Can't understand why it's not busier. Beautifully cooked and and charming friendly service. There were 5 of us and it was just shy of 50 per head which is not cheap but it was worth it.
