Outstanding food and service again! And a refreshed menu - the best rice pudding ever tasted, great service recommending drinks to go with our meal

Rib eye steak gristly, greens hardly cooked, fries lukewarm! Used to be much better, that's why we returned! Gave feed back for staff to pass on, a gesture of a a reduction in the bill would have been nice! We are the reps on the road for these places aren't we?

Excellent food and service. This has become one of our regular eateries. Always a great selection of specials, steak is fantastic and the staff are always very friendly.

We had another great evening at Hops and chops, great food, lovely drinks and fab ambiance. We'll definitely be back again for more dinner and drinks.

Good menu, a little pricey. Nice atmosphere, a little chilly (kept my coat on). Lovely staff, would return. Need more hot grilled vegetables (instead of heaps of salad) in the grilled halloumi main dish please.

Quite expensive for what it is. You pay extra for all the trimmings and it really bumps up the price. Charge for literally everything , for example my husband & friend asked for a bit of icecream with their dessert. £3 extra!! Most restaurants just oblige with a little bit if icecream. Total bill for 4 people just under £150. No.....not worth that sort of money. Will not go again as we don't like being ripped off!!!!!!

This place is stunning, great food and atmosphere. I will definitely be going back. I had the pork chop and pork belly which was some of the best I have ever had.

Very pleased with our visit. The staff were friendly, efficient and knew their stuff. The food was equally good, but not for the faint hearted, a healthy appetite is recommended. Well done all.

Great steaks and decent service. This place has a nice buzz about it, and a good menu for meat lovers. Nice little bar area too, though wish they’d stop using plastic straws & stirrers in drinks.

We were very well looked after and with the exception of the slightly strange mushroom starter the food was excellent. Great service and nice atmosphere, quite busy for a Monday.

Nice service, good food, tables booked for 8.30 but didn’t get seated until later so didn’t get meal until 1 hour after initially booking which was quite late for us.

The food is great. The gin menu is annoying, it has no descriptions or recommended tonics to accompany. I think overall this place is overrated and over priced. The interior is bright, boring and doesn't add to a great dining experience.

Excellent service, sublime food, my only quibble would be the air conditioning, it was set to keep the staff comfortable not the customers, many restaurants and shops forget that it’s the customers comfort that is important, no theirs, it may sound rude but it’s true, I wasn’t the only one that was cold and will return with a jumper next time!

Staff were very lovely and friendly. Food was extremely nice, came out very hot. Well decorated and the music was spot on. Also a great location.

Food exceeded our expectation. Price was palatable... loads of parking at rear and venue was easy to find... waiting staff were not overbearing... great selection of beers.

Really loved the food, we had meat sharing plate and it was so delicious, the portions were huge so more than enough food to share. Staff were lovely too, couldn't fault it.

The steaks are absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend it. Read lots of reviews, all good so thought we would try ourselves. Definitely worth the money.

First visit and thoroughly enjoyed it. Only slight down side we were seated on the small table for two in the raised part of the restraint near to where the servers brought in the food. It was extremely draughty and cold. There was na outside door open somewhere behind the scenes. No problem we were quickly moved to another table without any hassle.

Great atmosphere, nice and clean, amazing food and great portion sizes, great drinks selection and lovely helpful staff! Would definitely reccomend to anyone! Massive thumbs up!

Lovely family Sunday lunch. Nothing too much trouble. Prepared my son a mini version of the mussels and knew all about our allergies before we arrived and were able to advise on the menu. Great advice on the gin menu too.

Very pleasant surroundings, modern feel. Food excellent, and nicely presented. Service superb, staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend to friends. Would have liked more wine choices by the glass.

Lovely atmosphere and good menu. I had the crispy mushrooms to start and they are to die for I highly recommend. Good service and great range of drinks! The rekordalig botanicals rhubarb cider was heaven!

The food was lovely and it's a really nice restaurant, the staff were polite too. The only annoying thing was that we were sat very close to a really loud table of about 10 people when we reserved a table for 3 and there were loads of empty tables when we arrived and spent the evening not being able to hear each other. Everything else was great and we'll definitely go again and would recommend to others.

Really good meal to celebrate a family birthday. The antipasto was a great sharing starter and we all had steaks, rib eye, fillet and Sirloin which were all really good. Disappointing to see plastic straws still being used through, time to kick the plastic habit.

Excellent. Went for the first time for a friend’s birthday. We were not disappointed! Gin menu is double sided- don’t forget to turn over! Staff are very knowledgeable about which mixers- ask their advice if you’re not sure. Main menu- it looks expensive. It is. Every bite we had and every sip of drink we had was worth every penny. Antipasti plate was shared by 5 as a starter. There was plenty for everyone. We had: fillet, 2 x ribeye, lamb skewers and polish sausage. Everyone was pleased with their meals (my fillet was the best!). Desserts: pannacotta and chocolate waffle. More than enough for 2 to share. Highly recommend the pannacotta. Overall experience- Brilliant.
