very friendly and good atmosphere. food always good and generous portions. only issue as ever is if your in a small group the tables are too small...or maybe we should order less

Great evening, only disappointment was that the bar shut at just after 10pm without a warning bell for last orders (was still busy and football still had 30 mins remaining!)

Excellent inside restaurant with good Devore food is fine especially fish pakora good selection of lager beers but only food prices are expensive.

There was a bit of a mix up which delayed our food, but it was soon resolved (and they gave us complementary popadoms while we waited)

Good food, football and beer! An enjoyable evening in all. Not sure what time the kitchen closes but it was too late for one last garlic nan to finish the main with.

We were only visiting Birmingham and Hen and Chickens was recommended to us. A lovely pub and we were made to feel very welcome. The food is amazing. I would definitely recommend anyone to go here if you like Indian food. Thank you for looking after us.

Had to wait a long time between starters and main course. Only had table for 2 hours and due to the long wait between starters and main course we were asked to leave the table after a short while after eating our mains.

Food was unbelievable but could have done with a bigger table!

Fooooods freakin awesome. Great atmosphere. Easy to get to from tram. Then back into brum for cocktails and dreams.

A first visit. Surprisingly empty from what we've heard about trying to get a table here but it was 5pm on a Sunday. First impressions were good. Beers ordered and menus perused we chose a large mixed grill with fish pakora, salad and popodoms - delicious 😋 Well definitely be back 👍

Authentic cuisine, packed with taste. Good service, stools need to chairs and the ales were all pale, could have had a better selection. Over all I would recommend it. I will visit again

Food really good - authentic, good flavours and decent portion sizes. Naans were amazing but fries were your standard frozen chip variety (can’t complain as this is a curry pub not a chip shop!). Would definitely recommend, the atmosphere is a a chilled and comfortable pub, serving good curry with Cobra on draft.

Very crowded on this occasion. Our reserved table wasn’t ready and we had to ask fir it several times. The food was served quickly and was excellent quality as usual.

Lovely place and excellent food. Only thing that prevented 6* was that it was way too hot in the room. Asked for blower to be turned off and it was only turned down.
