Hawksmoor - Manchester

We went to celebrate our Silver wedding anniversary, so it was a special occasion. We were made to feel special throughout. Service was exceptional. We were even given a celebratory cocktail free of charge. Thank you xx

Food was good however one of our steaks was not cooked to how we asked but overall the service was wonderful

Food and atmosphere was amazing and out waiter was amazing and so helpful.

Beautiful food but very expensive, No 450g chateaubriands steak left at 9pm so one of our guests ordered the 1kg. Meat was tough. Fillet steak was fab, cooked New York Style , medium and was very tender. Starters were all fab, scallops, crab and potted meat. Service was excellent. Bar was way too noisy and overcrowded at 8.30pm

We went to hawknoor for our usual anniversary meal taking our 13 year old who has had a tricky time medically with us as a special treat. Our son became overwhelmed and cried a little. Our server Dan was incredible with Oscar and put him at ease. Oscar was treated with respect and kindness. Our food was incredible as ever. We didn’t mention our anniversary in the booking but Dan had looked at our account and presented us with champagne and beautiful chocolates. Oscar was presented with his own Hawksmoor cho-cuterie board and had the best time. A genuinely amazing evening made better by the wonderful staffs attention to detail.

Lovely meal great service. Only down side was facilities toilet etc lots of stairs. Not great with mobility problems.

Why did they ask if we were celebrating anything ? It was both our birthdays. Usually you get a token dessert. We got nothing

Staff were lovely. Meat with the Sunday lunch was very tough couldn’t eat it. Roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding quite dry.

Excellent food and service, great atmosphere in the restaurant. I had oysters, crab on toast followed by the ribeye steak, chips and buttered greens. My partner had the bone marrow toast followed by ribeye, chips and 2 eggs, all was truly delicious and you are made to feel very welcome.

Exceptional, as always. Food was incredible and the service was 10/10 too. Never disappointed when we visit

It would be nice not to feel pressured to pay the service charge, I would of paid it anyhow but the card machine that the server had added the donation and the service charge without being asked, bit presumptious it should be the customers choice.

Staff were really attentive without being over the top right from arriving to leaving. Great atmosphere. Great food, but wasn't impressed with the buttered greens, expected a mixture of greens, but was just cabbage.

We've been to Hawksmoor a few times and it's always great but last night the food seemed even better than usual. The front of house staff are always extremely friendly and helpful. 10/10 will definitely be returning for another meal. Thanks!
