Gurkha Corner

They didn't have ours and other peoples reservations. We were sat down and had food, but were hurried out in under an hour. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING.

Best lamb biryani. Love the nettle curry. The sizzling dishes are beautiful. The chef will make your dish as spicy or mild as you like. Light and fresh onion pakoras. Not greasy. The lightest naan breads imaginable. Just Superb.

We regularly visit the Gurkha Corner in Abergavenny for some simple reasons; the food is always excellent (flavoursome, fresh, hot, well presented, authentic), the service is friendly and efficient, we feel the menu represents good value and the restaurant is a pleasant place to eat. We'll be back!

Ezcellent menu food well presented and very tasty also well proportioned and priced ... loved the fact that a takeaway of the food not consumed. Staff asked if needed as a takeaway very considerate will recommend and visit again

Had a nice evening meal out with friends here, staff were fun and friendly, food was good, a few dishes really good a few dishes a little average, but generally right on the money. Wound definitely consider going back again to try other menu items. Average price for a good meal out came to around £27.50 per head, starter, mains and drinks. :)

Although we booked it was not open. Was there a problem At least let us know if the restaurant couldn’t open. We had a miserable time in pouring rain. Too wet to search for another place to eat. Really upset

After two long days hiking the best curry we have had in a long time. Just wish you had an Essex branch. We will be back next time we come back to South Wales :-)

Food and service lovely as always. Recommend the Nepalese dishes, especially the nettle curry. Korma was a little bland, but that is the only dish I've had there that wasn't superb.

The food and service was amazing, The manager even came over to chat with us and make sure everything was OK which it was. He even gave us a lift back to our hotel as the taxi didn't turn up... Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Took a party of 7 for a birthday celebration. Everyone agreed The Food was excellent. Service was terrific. Without requesting it a nice birthday cake was delivered at the end of our meal. Great value. .
