Green's Steakhouse & Grill - Southgate

Friendly service and amazing food. Slightly on the expensive side for the area but loved the steak so well worth it. You need to book Friday’s and weekends as gets quite busy. Recommend the chocolate brownie desert.

The food here was absolutely amazing! However the service wasn't that great we were sitting at our table for at least 10 minutes before even being given a menu! We were given the menu when the waitress came up to us and asked if we had already ordered, even though there was only 2 waitress' the communication between both of them wasn't brilliant but as stated before couldn't fault the food t wasn't lovely!!

The steak was under cooked and/or poor quality. Some orders were completely wrong. 2 prawns for £16 was massively over priced. We would not recommend Greens steak house

Very good meal for both of us. Just main courses (Salmon and Fillet Steak) and a glass of wine. Friendly service without being intrusive. Topped off by catching up with some old friends who arrived just before we left. Will revisit.

Sadly disappointed, food was good have never been able to fault that. We were a table of 8 celebrating 30th wedding anniversary unfortunately put by door in window so constantly getting a draft from door opening & closing. However did not appreciate an additional £200 yes £200 being added to our bill when queried initially told that’s correct only on closer inspection was it acknowledged the error - has left a sour taste from this experience & unlikely to be back or fully recommended to others because of it

A wonderful evening with my brother and two young nephews. Steaks, sliders, chicken wings, poached pear etc truly amazing. Service impeccable. Fabulous ambience. A wonderful local find. Thank you will definitely be back.

I had a ribeye steak cooked medium which was cooked to perfection. The staff at the venue are polite and friendly. I would definitely go back and would recommend it to others

The service and ambiance were very good . The food was up to its usual standard. The only quibble was that I did not have any bananas in my Banoffe Pie!!

The burgers are the best i have ever had. And i also highly recommend the onion rings and the calamari. The staff are great. tasty

Lovely restaurant with a lovely interior. I had the roast fore rib of beef and my husband had the blue punk burger with the BBQ blue cheese. We both enjoyed our meals and would like to come back to try the steaks next time

Excellent venue. The menu is comprehensive, but not excessive. Food is extremely well cooked & delicious. Service is great prompt & unobtrusive. Reasonably priced . Wholeheartedly recommended.

Recently visited Greens with a group of girl friends. Great new venue. The food is Tasty. Yummy cocktails. Only negative is Starter menu not very exciting.

Lovely new premises and staff are lovely, but the food was a bit disappointing and overcooked. Won't deter me from going back as I'm a fan, but would advise maybe asking customers how they'd like their burger cooked may help. Dry and slighly burnt doesn't float ny boat! Sorry!

The food was excellent, good service and nice atmosphere!! The stakes were really taste! I highly recommend the ribeye (medium) stake! Also mushrooms side was really taste as well! Highly recommended!!

The music is too loud and the beef is not hot as it is served on wood and cold plates. There should be a hot plate for the chatobreon.

The food was great, the only thing is the sauce was not enough which was £2 per per person for £4 I expected a bit more, also I did not understand the purpose of the slow roasted garlic , other than that all ok.

Very good food and service. Steaks were excellent, fries tender and hot and accompaniments also just correct. Background music could be a little softer and laid back.

Nice restaurant - small but a good atmosphere. Fillet steak was sublime. The list of allergens (I'm coeliac) was not comprehensive- I.e. Did not say either way whether the fries were gluten free but the waiter suggested a baked potato to be safe which I appreciated.

Nice shop, a little small, however clean and tidy, friendly staff. we had a voucher but still paid £57 (without alcoholic drinks) a little pricey for the area. Would recommend a visit, Keep a eye on those extras.

This restaurant is popular but also extremely noisy. The food was good although the service was not brilliant. It took sometime for someone to take our order - everyone else seemed far more important. The restaurant really needs to consider soundproofing what appears to be a painted concrete ceiling. Slightly disappointing.

The food was excellent, the service good but it felt more like a cafe than a restaurant. Very noisy, the table was too small to accommodate the food and wine. Great food but the overall experience didn't justify the £110 bill for two.

Food quality excellent. Ambience vibrant. Service let it down slightly. Waitresses were obviously inexperienced and their grasp of English could be better. Would go back though as that can only improve.

The service was very good. We found the steaks to be slightly undercooked as we asked for medium but they were more medium/rare. Would return.

New venue for this local steakhouse. Food, service and decor are good but the lack of sound absorbing makes it very noisy and difficult to hold conversations; not an issue in it's old venue. Would recommend but perhaps at a quieter time for those with hearing problems.

Excellent food, lousy service! Our food took nearly 50 minutes to arrive after we had ordered it. Items were wrong and other items were missing. At the end of the meal, it took almost 15 minutes just to get the bill, while 3 waiting staff chatted at the back of the restaurant.

The chateaubrand was expectional and the steak fries were fresh and hot. The meal was washed down with a beautiful Malbec. My husband and I always love this place for date nights. The new space is great Brad! Congrats!

It was our first visit to the new restaurant. The ambience was very nice and the food was excellent. Especially the side of mushrooms which were outstanding.

It was a poor experience. I do not expect to be offered Diet Coke or Pepsi from a gun in any restaurant other than macdonalds. The wings were drowned in sweet bbq sauce. No finger bowl or hand wipes were offered automatically and had to be requested. The mushroom soup was unseasoned and made with far too much cream. None of the food was seasoned. The hamburger buns were poor and went soggy almost immediately making them impossible to hold. The coleslaw was unpalatable., not home made but similar to that bought from a cash and carry like Costco, swimming in sickly Mayo.

This is the new go to steak house! Steaks were delicious (although medium rare comes very rare) but quickly rectified. Service was spot on! Highly recommend

Green's Steakhouse is newly located on Southgate high street. Open from Midday to around midnight. Green's moved from a spot between Southgate high street and Southgate Green and I think its now better located. Its a little smaller, opened around July 2017 and makes great steaks, burgers, ribs, grilled fish and a really good beef sunday lunch. The interior is also tastefully designed with a cosy welcoming feel. The leather bench seating is comfy, music is at a nice level and the ambience is just right for smart casual dining. We have been several times now and its normally fairly busy. Service is very friendly and the food arrives quickly. Steaks start at around £21 with a variety of sides at £4 and a selection of Red, White wines, beers and cocktails are available. We just had Sunday lunch and the Beef was excellent. Cooked medium rare with roast potatoes, peas and carrots in a lovely butter sauce. You get a selection of sauces accompanying the gravy which was rich and tasty. We eat out for Sunday lunch around once a month and this is one of the best we've had in North London. We tried one of the Mojito mocktails last time and perhaps not the best I've had certainly worth a try if you want a soft drink. They have a nice selection of red and white wines that work well with the mains. Save room for the desert! We had a brownie with ice cream which was delicious and a nice end to the meal. We will definitely return. Green's steakhouse is a great addition to the Southgate and North London dining experience. Well done.

Recently moved premises, although well decorated i do feel they have tried to cram in too many tables, felt a little cramped if honest. Strange dining experience as felt the starter (calamari) was poor value and portion too small £6.95 for 6 rings of calamari and the main for me rib eye steak was too big, i have never before taken steak home to the hound ! The wifes ribs were scrummy and the burgers looked good so although a steakhouse that is the route i would go down on my next visit.

Excellent service and very welcoming. The steak was cooked to perfection. A special pudding was made to take account of a fellow diner's food allergy.

A limited menu choice on offer. Service is friendly however did not get our order 100% right. Food was okay, itching to really shout about though.

Took my mum and husband there for their birthdays, the food and service were both excellent and we can't wait to try the roast dinner on a Sunday.
