The ribs were lukewarm and the sauce tasted like tomato ketchup . The fries were tossed with too much salt. The dessert was nice but overly decorated with the sauce was expecting rashberry sorbet but got vanilla ice cream. Would I go again? No I wouldn't!

Very expensive for what we had. Fillet and T-bone were delicious but the 14 oz rib-eye on the bone was tough. Service was quite slow as there was only one waiter. Should have known as when I phoned the answerphone message said they were fully booked for Valentines Day in 2014!!!

My sons and I had excellent quality food. The rib starter was huge and fell off the bone and carpaccio was beautifully seasoned . Great burgers and perfect medium rare steak. Friendly service.

Wasn't sure about the waiter initially as he didn't look happy to see us, I then realised that that's just his demeanour and he is a really nice guy. Steak was impeccable. Chips were moreish. Pudding was yummy. Beef ribs are something different. Really tasty and spicy. Nice place to eat with the family. I will be back. Arnie style.

Too loud, slow service. Table wasn't ready when we turned up. Burnt chicken burgers and didn't listen to what I wanted for my main at all!

My party of four went to Greens for Sunday lunch. We all ordered the beef roast. Two of us had quite fatty pieces of meat and the other two had really nice cuts so I'd score 50/50 on that front. The roast came with very crispy pots, lovely fresh veg and a huge yorkshire pud and gravy. We all ordered the warm chooclate brownie for pudding and everyone was happy expect me!! As a brownie connoisseur i can state that it was not a brownie. It was tasty nonetheless but was better described as a warm cake. The stodginess you would normally associate with a brownie, as well as a crusty outside, was missing. The food was very well presented and the staff were polite so all in all a good lunch. The total cost was £100 for four with a bottle of wine, a beer and a soft drink, not too bad for Sunday lunch and will probably go again in the future. My only recommendation would be to go after 2pm as there are more people and therefore more atmosphere.

Lovely restaurant and food and service was good - slightly overpriced was what is is being a local restaurant but perfect food as i have to be careful being allergic to garlic and onions

Rude service and poor food! Overpriced and overrated. We will not be returning. Steak was ok- I wanted rare but was told this wasn't possible? I ended up with medium-well, kids cottage pie was just dry mince and potatoes, macaroni cheese was awful and I've had better hotdogs from Costco! Soulless with no music too.

Food is outstanding!! Delicious burgers! Service needs a little more work, we arrived early on a Friday and there was only 2 waiters and manager serving once it started getting busier...each making their own drinks etc. They need runners or extra hands to help and then that place would be absolutely a perfect restuarant. But I would definitely be back the food outweighed the slow service. Fantastic place

Quality of meal is very good and two for one offer on main course made it reasonable (ish) value for money. We only had a main course with a couple of side dishes and a glass of wine each ... £52 after the offer deduction of £21 and before optional service tip. Portions are generous and the staff are friendly.... overall an enjoyable evening ....VFM at full price?

We have driven past Green's so many times and vowed we would try it "one of these days". So pleased we finally did but gutted we have missed out on this little gem all these years!!! Great service, great food, great atmosphere and great wine. Hope this will the first of many visits.

Our family had a lovely evening at Green's; the food was all absolutely delicious, particularly the sticky ribs, the trio of sliders and of course the steak, thank you.

Service was very good and most of the food was good. The steak was a disappointing for a restaurant that specialises in it and was overdone for medium.

Excellent food and service, nice to see steak served on the bone. Only thing that let it down was that it was Friday night, 8.30pm booking but only a handfull of tables were full. Would be a shame to see a good steak house close but a Friday night should be a full house with a buzzing atmosphere, sadly it wasn't.

When we first arrived we were shown to our table. There is a very chic/cosy feel to Greens and the interior is well decorated. The menu is limited, but I like easy choices. The wine list offers something for everyone and a good choice was made by our group. On the whole the starters were excellent, but the portions seem varied. ie If you order Ribs its almost a main meal, or the Gin Parfait and you hardly have enough bread for the pate. What disappointed me was the salad dressings. The lettuce was wilted and lacked any imagination, literally just thrown on the plate. At these prices the attention to detail is so important. Our group all ordered Steaks. Two were excellent but under cooked, not so much that we felt we could not eat it, but another steak was a very poor cut. We were told its difficult to see how the steak is but I disgree, a good chef will know whats going on the pan and how it looks and feels. I would say the chips were very nice. However, once again the salad was wilted and had no imagination. Personally I'd suggested but mixing salad with a hot dish and got a green beans or similiar. If you order the sauce allow for an extra £2 which is shocking. I did realise this at the time, but we just felt like trying it. Possibly what I did'nt expect was a small offering of about 30ml. We brought up our concerns with the staff and they were happy to address our concerns which went some way to resolving the problem. But when you are paying £50.00 per head you expect a little more attention to detail. It was clear the Lettuce was prepared in advance and the meat whilst two cuts were excellent they were not cooked enough and another cut which was cooked as required was certainly not worth £25.00.

Was ok!! Food was ok, steak was nice, service was not friendly, seemed like they couldn't be bothered and that affects your overall dining experience! Shame really because when this restaurant first opened we loved the food and had great friendly service.

steak good cannot be faulted, presentation and what you get for your money questionable, scattering of letucce and a burnt garlic. Was better when it first opened. Service slow and midweek atmosphere lacking

The restaurant itself is really lovely and the food is wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our Easter Sunday lunch there. My only criticism is the staff and how unfriendly they are. A warm welcome and a smile would be nice.

I'd offer a choice of maybe one steak with Sunday lunch menu. I understand the roast concept but it say steak on the shingle. Also, beer selection is pathetic. Could add one or two choices to acknowledge the existence of craft beer. Food and service were good notwithstanding.

Meat was excellent, very tasty and well cooked, vegetables also cooked and presented well but portion size of vegetables was disappointing , one bowl per person would be better.

The Sunday Lunch service was amazingly quick. The Sunday roasts were good without being great (the vegetables were a little disappointing). We all had the lamb. Friendly staff and a pleasant environment. A nice place for a traditional Sunday lunch.

Beautiful night out with my wife. The quality of the food was superb - juicy steaks, lovely bottle of wine! Even though we were completely food we still managed to get a dessert - warm brownie with ice cream - was a cherry on top of the cake! Looking forward to coming back soon!!!

Good food however, not helped by the awkward floor arrangement making every table feel it is in the corridor or on top of the next table.
