Great place with good food and lively music. Got a bit difficult to hear but we were right behind the DJ so cant complain! I would certainly return, it was a good evening all round

This was our first visit originally recommended by a friend, we were certainly not disappointed with comfortable booth seating, friendly staff, good food and choice of drinks and cocktails, great venue to relax and catch up with friends, we were there for several hours so great to find a place where we were not rushed out the door after couple hours Which could happen in other restaurants... well done Grand Cru we will be back 🥂🍾🍽 😀

Nice, friendly staff. Good food.and cocktails. Good atmosphere too. Reasonable price on food and drink. Will definitely go back. Best to book as well as it does get busy.

excellent value for money and great service. We had the 5pm menu which was 2 courses which had a good range of starters and main courses. Pay extra for steak but it's worth it

We weren’t on the list for dinner even though booked through this then we waited a while to be served . Over all food was nice

Food was lovely however felt that the portions were a bit on the large side. The starters would have been enough. Felt it was a waste if food.

We had a great lunch here.. good menu choices, wine & cocktails. The chicken wraps were a massive hit! The waitress was friendly and attentive. Sat in one of the comfy circular booths.

Great menu, lots of choice, huge portion size, wide range of cocktails, pleasant staff, nice surroundings, only criticism could be that the food took longer than expected to come to the table but worth it when it did.

Lovely lunch at a great price for the set menu. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Lacked a bit of ambience but, apart from that, it was really good.

Amazing atmosphere; reasonably priced food -large portions (especially the starter nachos which were enough for a full meal)! Lovely house wine and great service. 100% will be returning.

Gave a five only because one of us asked for no tomatoes only to be loaded with them. To be fair waitress came back to apologise & offered to replace. Over all very pleasant experience.

I was there for a birthday celebration at lunch time, although it was a busy Sat. the staff were very attentive. We started with mussels to share which were excellent then we had chicken and chorizo pasta, ceaser salad and chicken supreme, all really nice. No complaints at all.

City centre location. Gr8 service and food, with an excellent cocktail menu 🌟Would recommend to friends and family. Noticed they catered for individual parties too.

Three of us had lunch here. Food was delicious. Lots to choose from. Service was excellent. Lovely restaurant. We enjoyed ourselves so much we immediately booked again.

Really enjoyed food and drinks today and very reasonable. Would go back again without hesitation. Staff were very attentive and knew the products they were selling well.

This is a lovely place to visit to either eat or for a drink. The staff could not be more helpful and approachable. I would highly recommend eating here.

Food was average, good value though! The waiters/bar staff were uninterested, one was actually yawning while taking our order. We were the only people in there at the time.

Food was great as always, However, the general attitude off our waiter was not good, he was not pleasant or helpful, the staff are usually very good.

Two out of 4 meals inedible ! Over cooked burgers, rock solid ! Was given 2 refunds . Other 2 meals ok. Disappointed really .

Excellent food, lovely staff. Nice to have the vibrant bar area and the quieter eating area slightly separate so you weren't having to shout whilst eating but could still enjoy the atmosphere.

Meal was amazing wasn't keen on table we got given at back in the corner with boxes of rubbish as we had booked well in advance

I've visited on 4 - occasions with work colleagues and family and friends and always found staff friendly helpful and attentive. Food is good and service is quick. Music can be a little load but asked to move table to a booth and we were accommodated without any complaints. We will be back

4 of us out on Thurs for dinner, great value for the set menu, good portion sizes and staff very attentive. Had a great evening.

I had booked 2 tables of 6 however when we arrived we found that only one had been reserved, however the staff were lovely and very helpful and within 10 minutes they had found us another table. We had a lovely evening after that!

Food was excellent, burgers were huge. Service was good, considering how busy it was with being the festival. Made a virgin cocktail on request, which was lovely.

The waitress was fantastic, food really good and drinks great. Overall a fab place to have lunch and a few drinks. Would definitely go back to Grand Cru as been twice now and both times a great time had plus prices are really good

Love this bar, it's always got a teally relaxed vibe from day to night. Good is great and reasonably priced. Best bit is it doesn't try too hard to be 'swanky' it just pulls it off anyway

My husband and I dined on here on Saturday,he had sirloin steak which he says was lovely ,I had macaroni cheese,which was bland and had no salad or garlic bread with it. Disappointing.We hd asked for blush wine and got white,when we said to waitress,she just shrugged her shoulders and said sorry.

Good place for Fri/Sat night drinks. Really lively and in a great location. Not eaten much there only on one occasion but food was only average. Much prefer it as a place for drinks

The food was nice and also reasonable but the service was quite slow and it was often difficult to get a member of staff's attention

Helpful staff had booked a booth for me - perfect. Didn't have lunch due to timing but attentive staff gave us right amount of service.

Great lunch. Food well presented and tasty. Decent sized portions. Great value. Spacious seating area with cosy tables . I would definitely highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

I go to grand cru a lot but it seems to be after a certain time of day the service goes down hill. The food was lovely and the cocktails are always great but we sat for 15 mins with empty plates/ glasses and couldn't get anyone's attention. We had planned on staying longer but ended up moving on as the service was so poor.

The food was excellent and served piping hot. Choosing value for money. Staff were friendly and attentive. God atmosphere. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend a visit.

I was at Grand Cru with 3 friends we had a lovely time. The atmosphere was great. The staff were so attentive especially when I asked for a gluten free menu. The food was amazing and plentiful. We ended up just staying there would definitely recommend you and come back.

We had the 2 courses for £7.95, the portions were generous and the food delicious. The service was prompt and we were left to have a leisurely lunch which lasted 2 hours +. Oh, and the house red and white wine was very reasonably priced and quaff able , we'll definitely go back.

Staff are very nice and friendly and it is a great place with great selection of drinks and promos. It is in a central location and a late night bar which is great!

Service was terrible. Food was of a poor quality and overpriced. We felt rushed to move from the table shortly after finishing our meal given we had only been there for an hour.

great day out in edinburgh ment to be a pub crawl but the service was so good we stayed all day. The food was great the prices were great and the service from the staff was outstanding definitely will be back

Very dark place and the menu have seen better days. The complementary water was lovely, however we haven't stayed long enough to try the food....

The fOod was really good, generous portions and excellent value for money. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. My friends were impressed by the whole experience.
