The restaurant was busy but we were served quickly and nicely. The food was as lovely as ever! The only thing was the food could have been hotter- in touch that is!

We came here on Friday for my birthday, the service was great and the food was absolutely beautiful. I didn't even mind that the waitress mixed up one of the starters because everything was so delicious. I also love the fact they have a childrens menu with authentic thai food. My 9 year old daughter loved it. Not too expensive either.

Amazing food, amazing restaurant, defo be coming here again. Lovely little place, who treat customers like kings n queens the moment you walk through the door.

Good varied menu, food was delicious and reasonably priced, the tables are a little close to each other as the dining room was quite small.

We had a love meal here on Sat and was recommend a great thai wine to go with our food, Would say it was missing a nice veg side to go with mains they only offered a veg main and that's a bit pricey for a bit of veg, will eat there again x

Fabulous Thai food and great hosts. Order taken promptly and advice given on suitable levels of heat for diners not used to spicy food. Fresh vibrant meals and a yellow curry with crispy noodles to die for. Small venue and must book to avoid disappointment at busy periods.

The food and customer service was excellent. I can't wait to go back. I have told family and friends the food was outstanding the best tai food I have tasted.

Excellent food and service. Not too pricey. Exactly what we were looking for :) Highly recommend the yellow curry.

Greeted with a friendly smile and shown to our table, the drinks order was taken straight away and we were given our menus. We ordered our food and it came out shortly after. The starters, mains and side dishes were hot and full of flavour. Definitely recommend this bistro, it is quite small, so it is advisable to book in advance as it fills up quickly.

Fab meal at Chiangmai bistro. Super fast and friendly service. Food was excellent as usual especially my yellow curry! Really cosy environment and would highly recommend.

The food was beautiful as always however our table was in the very back which was extremely hot with no air and only a little fan to help cool.

This was our second visit to the Chaing Mai Bistro. The food on our first visit was amazing and the standard was maintained tonight. It's fast becoming my new favourite restaurant!

For a family celebration, four of us came to the Chiangmai Bistro in Newton-le-Willows for an evening meal. It was truly excellent. The presentation and flavour of the food was delightful, and service at table was excellent. Cannot speak too highly of the whole experience. We will be back!

As always at Chiangmai Bistro, the food was really great. We all had a lovely meal with good service. Would definitely recommend eating here, but it is only small so booking is advised.

Stuck in a tiny room with table next to us full of rude people. Atmosphere lacking. Food was ok but had better.

We booked a table for 4 people in this restaurant having had it recommended by friends. The meal and service was excellent. We look forward to working our way through the menu! Well done, it's nice to experience a good meal these days and a change from standard pub food. I would definitely recommend Chiangmai Bistro. The food was excellent, the staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. The restaurant itself was comfortable and with a relaxing ambience. It was also very easy to book on line.

I booked this restaurant on the recommendation of neighbours. Absolutely loved it. The food was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. I will definitely be visiting again.

Liked: Lovely food, friendly staff, speedy service, reasonable prices. Disliked: Uncomfortable chairs, constant ringing of the phone for take away orders dulled the atmosphere. Toilet very small and not good for tall people, due to a sloped ceiling with it being under a staircase.

We've been several times since Chiang Mai opened. Went again for a birthday meal. Fantastic authentic food and the service is good too. Very intimate setting Try it - you may love it

Food was okay taste wise, portions were quite small especially some of the starters. Not much atmosphere, no music playing. Waiters weren’t very attentive as they didn’t offer more drinks when we had finished ours and didn’t replace cutlery after the starters.

Visited for my wife’s birthday and enjoyed great traditional Thai food served in intimate atmosphere with good service and fair price. Would recommend to anybodynwishing to try traditional Thai food.

Although only a small number of covers very good food although they do not serve desserts and no coffees etc that we are aware of - we certainly weren’t asked. .Service could be a little more attentive given the small size - had to remind them about a drink I had ordered but would probably go back again.

Lovely food and great service. Was quieter than expected on a Friday night but we were there early but meant service was very quick - friendly staff and very tasty food!
