Goodman Mayfair

Really enjoyed the food. Service was attentive. Only let down was the noise level, which is difficult to avoid as the restaurant was full of men who seemed to be on business meetings or with colleagues talking very loudly about work. Given the location Goodman’s in Mayfair it feels more like a corporate dining spot rather than one for all occasions.

Service and food were excellent. The restaurant is not inexpensive, but if you are looking for a delicious meal, it is worth it!

food is delicious. The steak is a little bit over cooked (I order medium but it looks more like medium well). but it is still juicy. The fries are thick and crispy.

The food was average and my steak was quite tough

Not the level of service or execution on the cooking that you would expect, especially if you’re used to New York steak houses. Delivery was more more like a pub than one of London’s supposedly best steak houses.

Another great lunch and wonderful corovin wine by the glass!

The food at Goodman as usual was superb. The only thing that stopped a perfect score was they forgot one of the portions of chips. We had to wait for these so was not ideal.

Everything was good. The steak and food was cooked to what we like but what I am not sure about is, we ordered the lake district 1kg rib-eye but it feels like a USDA one....but I am not sure. The 1kg steak, there were alot of fat, so that was disappointing, but the steak was cooked great so we still enjoyed it.

We had a great time. Food and service was excellent. We were sat close to the entrance, it was a coolish evening and got a cool draft each time the door was opened. Still a good evening.

Very nice restaurant within the centre of London. Great choice of cuts for you to choose from. We booked in advance so there was no issue with waiting. Staff were super friendly and informative, I would recommend between two people the Porterhouse steak 900gr. We had that with a few sides, and it was more than enough. Overall would recommend to all Steak lovers, 8.5/10 for me! Thank you to the staff for a memorable dinner.

steaks cooked to perfection! Be sure to have the prawn tempura to start ... and the half lobster as a side! For non steak lovers the fish of day is also incredible Awesome team who just make the evening a great experience from start to finish!
