Goodman Mayfair

Had a lovely meal in Goodman Mayfair. Service was efficient, friendly and very helpful. Our waitress gave us some really good recommendations. The food was impeccable. Will definitely be returning!

Best steaks in London without question. Order from the board -- fresh cut steaks every day. This place is a league beyond Hawksmoor or Gaucho.

The Service was amazing. We got to go and see the dry ageing room and the chef showed us how much effort they put into cooking the steak. A truly memorable experience. Thank you.

Absolutely excellent - great atmosphere, wine, service and the meat is out of this world. I'd definitely recommend trying this place. Go for the british cuts...

Food was good, but the experience was very rushed. For the amount the meal cost I would hope to experience the restaurant for a little longer. More of an "Express Lunch" than an evening dining experience Starters arrived within minutes of our order being placed and our request for a break between starters and mains was completely ignored and mains arrived very shortly after we finished the first course! A shame.

Fantastic steaks but drinks a little pricey making it a 5 not a 6 we value. Very good service and great cocktails...I highly recommend the caramelised watnut old fashioned!

The food is always excellent, as is the wine. Service is also generally very friendly and the decor is really cosy and warm. We've been here many times and never have a bad experience!

Great service and very good meat with a great choice between cuts. Hand-cut chips are a must there as well as cream spinach and mac&cheese.

Had a meal for my Mum's 60th Birthday. The staff were great, the food was great, very impressed. Also didn't cost as much as we were expecting which was a nice surprise!

I rarely have a steak, but whenever I do I always go to Goodmans. Guaranteed amazing steaks every single time! No matter which steak you choose, will always be perfectly cooked and seasoned. Highly recommend the Mac and cheese as a side to accompany the meal.

very enjoyable meal - steak always good. staff very friendly and courteous.the manager was very helpful.The waiter dropped some plates near us - no ones fault but we were rewarded with a nice glass of port.

Constantly a great place particularly for meetings, in good surroundings and always great food and service. I have used Mayfair and the City restaurants for some time now, and would recommend them without hesitation.

As always - great good and good service. Can't fault it. The only downside - it is a bit noisy if you want to have a conversation.

Very courteous staff and good service - we were celebrating a special occasion and they comped us a free cheesecake slice with candle and congratulatory message. The USDA prime rib-eye was spectacular.

Goodmans is usually a 10/10 every time but I have to say the customer service was pretty poor today. I am sure it will be back to standard next time.

Very good food and very good service. Unfortunately the noise in the restaurant is really high, even higher than an average noisy restaurant in London.

Forget the rest . If you want the best stake in town with great service go to Goodman . Excellent steak , great wine list and sperb truffle chips .

As usual food was great and service was excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection. We do this on an annual basis and the 1st question is where should we go and the answer is always Goodmans

The food was excellent. The steak was near perfect. One of the best steak restaurants in London so far for me. The service was also great. friendly and lively service.

Great place, lovely and welcoming staff and fabulous food - even my 8 year old daughter loved it. The steak frites was superb and my daughters HUGE burger and chips was ‘the best’ in her words - definitely recommend for business or families.

Good visit to Goodman. Service was fine, but the steak a bit lacking in taste and the tempura prawns were overcooked. These things should be pretty easy to get right, but important.

Food was good...Canary Wharf branch is better. Stilton sauce in Mayfair was runny unlike the rich version at CW, Prawn tempura was salty. However all said it definitely has the good standard on the quality of meat served

We where in Goodman Mayfair. Great place to spend a evening. Excellent service, excellent meat. Next time we are in London, we'll be back for sure!

At Goodman, they know what they’re doing and they do it well. They’re clever not to stray from a fairly narrow track. The best steak restaurants in London.

Great steaks, superb wine, excellent rum and wonderful service and oh, Rod Stewart stopping by to say Happy New Year to the staff....couldn't have been better!

Good food as always.. found the steaks to be a bit under seasoned and not very warm.. my peppercorn sauce was quite thin and again under seasoned.. sides of truffle chips and spinach with cheese were fab. service was great, cannot fault it.

A REAL steak house. From the time you entered the restaurant thru finishing your desert, the staff was wonderful, the food exceptional and the venue warm and inviting.

every thing is perfect. I love the beef, beer and mushroom. I eaten less than 100g very day at home, but in Goodman I eat 400g meat.

Great service! It was our anniversary and they endured we had a great seat and wrote us a lovely message on our pudding :) Steak was to die for!

Excellent food and service, the key note main courses, being the steaks, not good value, too expensive. Would I revisit, yes, but would not have a steak, the other main courses were less expensive, just as appealing.

Excellent service, our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and was there with recommendations when we couldn’t make up our minds, The choices we made didn’t disappoint, the Wagyu beef starter was to die for which we followed with the Goodman steak and fillet, cooked to perfection.

This place continues to be excellent. Management has changed quite a lot. Prices are up 10-20%. Burgers no longer come with quails eggs but normal fried eggs. Truffle chips have this dreadful green vegetation mixed with them and beef dripping chips have been abolished. Now you pay extra for adding truffle chips to your burger. Steaks were to my mind bland. The others liked them. Our waitress looked joyless and on edge and clearly could not wait to leave at the end of her shift which she did with a spring in her step. The other ladies were much better. The coat storage had no supervisor or security. Anyone could have left with anyone elses coat. None of this would put me off coming again but the sparkle is not the same and shows how important managers who are also shareholders are. I hope the waitress gets some rest or therapy as well!

Great service, food with knowledgable friendly staff. I can’t wait to visit this venue again as every course of food was amazing. With a lovely wine range.
