normal goodman experience .. just disappointed in the quality of the steak provided

The service and the wine were the only two highlights from my latest visit to Goodman’s. I went for the 600g T Bone which to be honest tasted like it was cooked with chip fat. The truffle Mac & Cheese was so al dente you could hurt someone with it. Cancel the booking and head to Smith & Wollensky!

We were in London for four nights and ate there twice because the food and service was so great. Everyone was really nice and also took care of my wife with her egg allergy.

Food was very good: Well presented, excellent standard of cooking, though there are a couple of rivals nearby who are equally proficient at turning out a great steak. I found the atmosphere to be quite loud with unnecessary music, and it took quite a while to have our food orders taken. Our party of 5 was squeezed onto a table of 4 which was disappointing. I wouldn't be in a rush to return, but I would consider them again if I cannot get a table elsewhere.

Really enjoyed our meal, overall it was a lovely experience. The only comment I would make was that for a table of 10 we didn't have much room so it was very squashed. So much so that one individual had to ask for another chair and a space at the end of the table so we could all fit around. So, for a large group and a booking well in advance I'd have hoped that sort of thing wouldn't have had to happen

We really enjoyed our visit for my partner's birthday! My steak was slightly overcook the first time round but the team did everything to make it right as quick as possible and in the utmost professional manners. The new steak was perfectly cooked! Everything else from starter to dessert was just amazing!

We had a great visit to Goodman. The steaks were amazing, with delicious sides and great wine. But to top it all the service was out of this world.

The food was excellent. Overpriced, but good and not many options for people want less for for a better price. We also felt over waitered and rushed to turn the table which is not the feeling you want to give your guests who are paying 35 pounds for a steak.
