The visit was made excellent by our host. The meal was good, despite the fact that the order wasn't correct. Immediately we were informed, we would not be charged. What we did dine on was very good and appropriate for the price.

City professionals at lunch. 90% male clientele, but perfectly civilised, if a bit noisy. Presumably women not so keen on big steaks with chips. Great food. Service both efficient and cheerful.

Food was excellent and restaurant was very easy for my son who is in a wheelchair. Only issue was when he needed the toilet and an ignorant, able bodied man had decided to use the disabled toilet! I told the staff to ensure they kept it shut in future and disabled people would then simply use their special key.

Just a brilliant experience, the customer service was second to none and the steaks + sides can only be described as exceptional

overall the trip was OK but in terms of the food offering I would rank this below Hawksmoor.

When it gets busy it gets noisy, but this is probably like everywhere else. Some padding on seats needs attention and there were a lot of small flies present in the restaurant.

Excellent friendly service, we were recommended a fabulous red wine to accompany our steaks which was delicious and the food was amazing. We loved the mac and cheese and my tempura prawn starter was to die for. We will definitely return for more great food and great service.

Had Goodmans USDA Rib eye. It was large but the quality so so. Perhaps I'll try the English beef if I find myself there again.

Seated in a booth in the front of the restaurant as requested, great for watching the world go by. Staff balance a friendly, relaxed and professional approach well. Good quality steaks and a nice buzz.

Have been to Goodmans many times and it’s simply the best steak I town by far. What’s more it is consistent the service is always top notch, the quality of the food is very high and the chefs preparation and presentation is first class and some! I love going there and will be back soon.

Best value for money lunch menu in the city - really generous portions and attentive service

The chicken was moist and delicious - my colleague also enjoyed her fish option. It was quite busy but noise levels were not too high.

Probably the best steak I ever had in the UK. Great service and very comfortable surroundings.

In brief, our server was cheery and polite. She explained the menu and the cuts/types of meat in simple terms and was very helpful. We have eaten in many steak restaurants - Gaucho and Hawksmoor included - and the food at Goodmans was delicious. Our steaks were flavoursome, tender and very tasty. We will definitely visit Goodmans again and will be recommending to friends and family too.

I’m in London for business from the US. We had a party of 5. We had the full course, starters, mains, dessert and drinks. All of us had USDA beef, which was amazing. The entire experience was amazing as well. Goodman’s is now my top steakhouse in London.
