Good steak and ambience typical of a City restaurant. Value might increase only when selecting the more premium cuts rather than off the menu. Will do that next time.

Excellent quality as always - unfortunately ran out of sticky toffee pudding but cheesecake was a great substitute! Firm favourite and can never resist the mac and cheese!

excellent beef a vegetarians nightmare. cooked perfect. wish the had jacket potatoes, mash and chips are fine. great wine selection. brilliant service. good table separation for business discussion. noise level moderate but not excessive

The food and service was exceptional. We had a few sharing steaks between 6 of us, all of which were delicious. The mac and cheese was the best I've had.

My steak was a bit fatty tbh especially for the cost. Beer at the bar was very good. Service was spot on. Other than that it was a great evening.

Great food and service and also got the window seat as requested ....on the downside, when we walked in at 13.45 the main entrance was being hoovered by a very old hoover which gave off a horrible dusty smell, and where we sat, three of the tables were blocked off as they were in the midst of putting their Xmas window display together so we had people literally next to us putting up decorations and weren't asked if this was OK - would have thought that such chores would be dealt with after normal opening hours??

The best wine list in London for fans of Californian wine. Great service and steak as always.

Great place if you're a meat lover. Fantastic cuts of meat and very tasty done to perfection. The staff explained the meat well and the difference between aged and grass fed, make sure to ask for this explanation if you're unsure.

The service was excellent and the food excellent. We had excellent steaks, perfectly cooked. All the sides were great too, especially the truffle oil fries.

Superb meat, excellent service in a busy atmosphere. Very tasty tempura prawn starter followed by the Hereford ribeye - all a pleasure. Always happy to be at Goodman's

Steaks are superb. Service is superb. Sides are superb. Surroundings are very nice. Wine is expensive. I had a very enjoyable lunch here and will definitely return.

It was a great meal with excellent service, if somewhat expensive. There is an emphasis on steaks, understandably for a "steak house", but I feel that a greater choice of other main courses would be more attractive to prospective customers.

Great location and venue. Really good atmosphere. Great bar and cocktails, and of course excellent food - starters and steaks!! Will certainly go again...not a cheap night with the wine and drinks but well worth it.

The quality of cut and cooking of the steak at Goodmans City is always first class. The service is also excellent I always remember my experience at this venue.

As always, the best steak in London coupled with excellent service and atmosphere. Whilst not cheap it’s excellent value with a wine list for all tastes.

Great atmosphere and location. Very friendly, knowledgable and attentive waitress. Steak was first class as was the wine and side dishes. Will certainly be revisiting.

Great been here a numbers of time and the quality of the food as always was fantastic. Only downside is the acoustics make conversation a little difficult. Plenty of servers, good knowledge and very helpful.

Food was really good but not the best steak in London. Great place for friends to get together and celebrate. They gave my friend a free dessert as we were celebrating her engagement which was very thoughtful and kind.

Had a great lunch at Goodman city. Food was excellent, service was excellent. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the steaks and his attention was outstanding. Would highly recommend.

Set menu always a compromise by steak was poor (both in quality terms and how it was cooked) - chips too greasy - also we were brought unrequested bread (twice) while on coffee - disappointing as was with a client

To be honest I had a good meal with pleasant service. Completely ruined but some young lads who openly shared and took drugs in the booth adjacent to us. I have emailed the restaurant and received no reply. I would hope this isn't common practice where a blind is eye applied !

Great New York-style steakhouse with a fantastic staff and top-notch selection of both good and exceptional Californian wines. The Belted Galloway Porterhouse was perfectly cooked and accompanied by some delicious (but perhaps a little unhealthy) sides and sauces. Thanks for the kitchen tour...loved the meat room and the Josper grills.

All very good but incredibly expensive even by City standards. One set lunch menu, no wine or beer or dessert and £100. Table by the kitchen and noisy. Not likely to return although the steaks were excellent.

Another fabulous night out at Goodmans. There is just no faulting the entire experience from the greeting at reception, the amazing steaks, the exceptional wine list and of course, the best staff in any restaurant in London.

One of the best meats in London. The ribeye is delicious. Do not miss the truffled mac and cheese and the cheesy spinachs. Totally worth it!!

Really good service however, my boyfriend had an allergic reaction to the cheesecake. We did inform the staff that he has but allergies. She said it did t have nuts but there are traces of nuts where the food is prepared
