Perfectly tender and flavourful steak with béarnaise sauce, great triple cooked chips, delicious honeycomb parfait and banana sorbet dessert. I couldn’t ask for anything better in a meal.

Excellent USDA Porterhouse cut steak! There’s no where in London that serves steak as good as Goodman. Coupled with some excellent wine and delicious choice of sides what better way to end the working week! Excellent service by very knowledgable staff, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Really good quality steak cooked to perfection. Only downfall was waitress didn't seem very happy nor ask us how our meal was during or after.

Excellent, attentive service. The food was delicious and good atmosphere. We all had steaks and then 4 sides between 3 which was plenty. Happy diners.

Over priced for the steak experience (Taking Tier 1 in Tokyo, NYC, Toronto, Chicago, London into consideration). Good service. Steak not cooked to perfection, very rare core on a ‘medium’ steak. Would recommend lower priced options for better experience. Lovely staff though and good wine list makes it a 3.

food and service was excellent! The only thing that could have been better was the choice of music. Something more calming might have been more suited for the environment, rather than upbeat popmusic. All in all a great food experience :)

We were 8 persons and had the private dining room experience. The service was fantastic and the food was incredible! Everything was on point with absolutely zero complaints!

Food and service were great. We enjoyed our visit. The steak was cooked just right and the sides were excellent. Perhaps not the healthiest option for a work lunch but thoroughly enjoyable none the less.

Great service. They all work as a team. Consistently good food and an amazing wine list. Goodman City has a nice atmosphere and is great for people watching, there are always some ‘City characters’ to entertain you.

Great, old school atmosphere with upbeat and friendly yet knowledgable service. Cool and suitably deep wine list with every palate and purse catered for. Menu of the day included cauliflower soup and fish/chicken, so most people can irrespective of whether they are raving fans of meat (I am, but my guest isn’t, so worked out admirably). Best steak in the City hands down.

This restaurant is so spacious and it would be ideal for party and gathering. The foods were excellent, however, the steak was so large and we could not try more kinds of steaks. This is the only thing we regret.

Great steaks and place to eat. Been here number of times and one of my go to places to eat in London. Steaks are always on point.

Our server was very friendly and happy and the food was good, so no complaints! We were there for lunch at 13:30 and so we were not rushed to return the table either, so a very relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.

Steaks were spot on. Great Pomerol by the glass and service was very good. Try the truffle chips and fancy tomato & onion salad, delicious meal.

The food is spectacular, as the entire experience: the waiters are knowledgeable, courteous, and very pleasant, the place elegant and clean, and the general feeling is that they care about their customers. Lovely evening

Slow service to start as it took over an hour to be served from the time of our booking which was a shame as the food was very good.

Had an amazing time. The meat was cooked perfectly and the taste was splendid. The Hungarian waiter who served us was a lovely chap. The Christmas tunes were rolling in all night. Perfect Christmas dinner.

We had dinner here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, the lobster bisque and the steak (usda porterhouse) was fantastic. The service was excellent too, prompt but not feeling rushed.

First time at the City Goodmans (usually go to the Mayfair one) and was not disappointed. Still the very best steak in town. The wine was delicious, service was impeccable and the venue was great. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Pricey, but the prawn tempura starter was excellent and the steak was, well, the best you'll ever have. Only a 5 since price rules it out for for regular trips.

As always our group had a wonderful time for our Xmas do. The only reason I have not given a 6 was because having been told we had to vacate the table for the next sitting after ordering our coffees, we were then told twice more about the time in quick succession which was not at all necessary!

Great meat and even our vegetarian friend got something suitable for him. AmaZing wine and also very happy that they accommodated us even though reservation was for 4 and in the end only 3 of us made it

Friendly service and the staff were very attentive, nice atmosphere, if a little boisterous. Food had a tad too much salt. My wine was a little on the cold side too.
