Not the cheapest meal but amongst the best. Staff are great. It’s a business rather than couples location. If you’re into steak then this is a must visit place to visit in the city

Good steak, smooth service. Efficient! A pit on the pricey end, but it is the City and the steaks are truly good. Great daily special selection as well ("the cut").

All the food was amazing including the monster lobster!! 2.2kg!! Never had a lobster that big and the wing Rib was also sublime!! Thanks guys for another showstopper!!😋

Friendly and informative staff as always. Efficient and very well organised. Absolutely great food, asl always. And good value for money if you consider all of the above.

A great venue. The blackboard menu was confusing; so much so that we couldn't be bothered to try and work it out. The bar for pre-dinner drinks was not overly busy but it took 10 minutes to get served which was a bit frustrating. The food was great with no complaints whatsoever.

Great steak ; friendly staff. I am a long term customer; their American steak cuts are especially tasty. Such a great atmosphere; I Can't fault.

We go every year for our anniversary all the way from Birmingham! The staff are always very friendly, the food is great especially the mash potato! and the steak of course. Roll on next year.

Good service and a great atmosphere right in the center of the City. Superb steaks and a great selection of wines to accompany them. I will definitely return.

It was a lovely buzzy atmosphere, the service was great our waitress was very knowledgeable, the food was excellent we had 2 chateaux briands which were superb.

Once again a great meal but when I have spent close to £900 for 5 people I didn't expect to be given the bill and asked to leave after 2 1/2 hours as they had re booked the table.

second visit to this Goodman and again the food was very good - the steak was good but the side dishes are delicious especially the spinach with garlic and chillies

First time here and really enjoyed my experience. the food and wine selection was great and the service was everything you would like from a high end restaurant.

Great food and great service as ever. Favourite and best place for a steak in the city. Lots of special cuts on two of our party had the sirloin on the bone - very good.

It's a great experience with fantastic steak and very good service. Bar was very crowded when we got there - 7 p.m. on a Thursday - and nowhere for three of us to sit. Also dining area quite noisy, even on the edge. Customers need to be aware of these things.

Perfect as always. Great service and even greater steaks. Don't save on meat price, go for the top range for the best taste. Will definitely come back.

The food was very good and could not be faulted. However the service was dismal and I felt embarrassed. I had friends travelling from all over and I had been promoting goodmans as one of the best steak restaurants in London so everyone was super excited. However after arriving at 6.30pm combined with the service we only left at 10pm. For example we finished our main courses at 8.15pm. It was 9pm before our table was cleared!!!!!!!! This is just one example and is just not acceptable. Overall I was extremely disappointed.

Ordered a decent Norton Malbec - too cold. For a restaurant specialising in steak they ought to make sure the red wine is the correct temperature otherwise guests do not receive the full benefit of what they ordered.

The place is so consistent it's ridiculous. Great service, seriously they help you choose the perfect cut and then advise on the perfect wine to accompany it. Great food and worth the extra money you will pay in most other steak restaurants. You get what you pay for and never feel pressured to leave despite London table times as they are always prompt at delivering the perfectly cooked meals.

The foot is great, the atmosphere is lovely and the staff are very attentive. I would highly recommend the truffle chips, they are very delicious.

Great service and great steak! 4 mins walk from Bank Station. Servers were knowledgable but not pushy and food came promptly. Will definitely visit again!

A nice beer before sitting down. The usual display of the various steaks on offer. Good food and attentive service. Pleasant atmosphere. Will go back again.

Fantastic steak and good service. Good selection of wines by the glass. It’s far from cheap but for a treat night out with excellent rib eye, one of the best.

very good...8 of us had a great time and enjoyed the espresso martini's on the house.... quality restaurant - possibly better than H or M in the City - if you know you know....

Very Nice food, service was efficient and kind. The atmosphere was a little noisy but we could still have a friendly chat with guests. Definitely recommend it

Went here for a Monday lunch. Amazing steaks matched with a great wine list. I would order the Mac n cheese as a side (you can’t go wrong)

great as usual service was good, took care of an overcooked steak (reduced from bill and free coffees which is a very nice thing to do). its a bit overpriced, but hey nothing new on that side, London steak houses are expensive

The quality of the food was excellent, but the service was pretty average. I really don’t expect much, but our chips arriving at least 5 minutes after the rest of the food and the waitress not having a clue about the deserts was not great. The general welcome and ambiance was again, pretty average - not a patch on my recent visits to Hawksmore and the Ivy. The above isn’t enough to not recommend a visit because the food is genuinely outstanding.

Lovely food, one of the best steaks I've ever had and the wine was perfect. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The only negative was I found it to be quite noisy, so had trouble hearing so having a conversation was difficult

I ordered a USDA 850g porterhouse. The steak was just excellent. It was very juicy and grilled in a way that I exactly wanted. The waitress was very kind and supportive.

Perfect as usual, great food and great service. Though have noticed that they have decreased the size of the prawn tempura which is slightly annoying.

Always a winner food wise - great steak, venue and consistent. The busy atmosphere also helps too. I guess the only thing I would improve is the winelists - they are a bit unoriginal and also the mark up is a bit high...
