Good food and great service. The cuts are unfortunately too large for one person but if you're willing to share then they work out great!

Delicious. Excellent service. Very attentive to my needs as I have very severe food allergies. Nothing was too much trouble. 5 stars rating. Cant wait to come back.

Better than Hawksmoor and Gaucho for every dish you could possibly order. Obviously expensive but great atmosphere. Service very charming (can be a tad slow but adds to slightly prolong a lovely occasion. Would love to return again :)

Amazing service and food as always at Goodman. The steak frites at lunch time is a great value (£25) deal for high end steak. You can easily pay the same elsewhere for something that doesn't even come close to being as good as Goodman.

Enjoyed the food. The sides were small especially the veg. Service good. Wine excellent. I would come again. Didn’t really understand why I would buy a steak from the blackboard over the menu, but perhaps I missing something...

Everything about our meal was perfect. The crackers with caraway seeds as nibbles were unbelievably tasty. We then shared a USDA Porterhouse which was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing, as did the creamed spinach and chips plus three types of sauce. The wine was fabulous. Then to cap it all off the cheesecake & berry compote. Oh my word - the berries! Totally amazing food, really great service and loved every minute. Thanks - I will be back!

Excellent steak, good chips and great service. Terrific range of meat and cuts. Decent value for money for London, but not cheap: you get what you pay for though.

Great food, top service. All around very enjoyable lunch. Steak was perfectly cooked, sides were very tasty. Staff were all very friendly throughout the meal.

Best steak in London! Amazing service as well and perfect atmosphere! Not too dark, bot too bright-alot of space-the music level was just right-everything was great! The table was booked for a birthday and we got one of the best tables in the restaurant. At the end of the dinner, we were also served a small birthday dessert (without asking for it)! Overall it was a very good experience and would definitely recommend!

Excellent steak, good service and buzzy atmosphere. The venue is also good for a drink after work or at lunch with some good beers on tap.

Heard the reviews about this place and could not wait to get seated. Fantastic service from the front door, right until we left. Food is first class. Service was excellent. Wine amazing. Will I go back.... soon enough hopefully.

Superb food. Exceptional service. That's it! Couldn't compare it to another restaurant I've been to. The staff recommended the wine and it was the second cheapest not the most expensive. They seemed to really care about the taste and not about the profit. They even recommended not having more side dishes as the 2 we ordered were enough to share. Very impressed

Great steaks and sides in a convivial atmosphere. An extensive wine list, with some real gems by the bottle or glass. The right balance of traditional appearance, good service and informal hubbub.

Greeted efficiently on arrival. Table was ready however my guests had not arrived so went to the bar. I always think it's good when a restaurant has a proper bar area to meet friends or colleagues. Bar staff knowledgeable regarding drinks. At the table the server knew the menu well and explained only the meats cuts requested (So much better than Gaucho....). Food arrival was efficient and not too quick or slow. Wine list comprehensive. Ended up back at the bar after the meal. Change of staff but equally as efficient and chatty. Very good.

Lovely friendly waiters and great service! My steak was more medium than medium/rare... and so was my friend’s so if you like it bloody maybe err on the rare side!

Prompt and friendly service. Very tasty food. Good ambiance. I will return and would highly recommend to others. The only downside was the waitress forgot to serve milk with our coffee which was rectified.

Loved this reataurant, great ambiance, very friendly waiter and service. And of course the steak! It was perfect. Crab cakes were wonderful too. Cant wait to go back.

Good Steaks - perhaps slightly overdone against the instructions given. The side orders - vegetables, fries etc are not up to the same standard, and not as good as other similar chains. Beer selection is absolutely terrible - the assumption is that everyone wants wine. This branch has always served better meat than the Mayfair one, but the demographic is a rather boring monotone - everyone is a banker...

As always, a safe bet for a business lunch. Good service. But steak was overdone today which was a shame but the first time in over 20 visits.

We went here for an afternoon meal with friends that went long into the evening as we were enjoying ourselves so much. Staff were excellent and attentive and the food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. We'll be coming back and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Excellent service. To me, best steaks in London. Crab cake appetiser was superb as well. Coravin system wine list quite broad and deep in terms of selection.

Goodman City is in a good location, very efficient and courteous service, the meal was well prepared and of very good quality although slightly overpriced even by City of London prices.

The new menu isn't as good for starters... The meat didn't taste as good as last time... The sides we're very average... Disappointed - not worth £200 at all!

Fantastic visit to Goodman City - very friendly service and great food as usual - one not to be missed, the steak can be cut with a spoon.

The service was excellent as was the meal cooked to perfection Med Rare to Well done spread over the 3 of us. The selections of the various cuts of meat was enlightening

Felt a little rushed into making wine a food choices at the start of the meal, but after that, the service was great and the food delicious.

Great tasting steak and a great waiter who was engaging. Food expensive, but that is what you expect when you go here! Always order off the board instead of the menu.

Good steak. Good wine. Good service. Quite noisy when it got busier and very warm. However steak and pudding were delicious. I’d go back again.

The rib-eye and sirloin steaks and accompaniments were all superb Excellent service all round. Buzzy atmosphere at lunchtime but not too loud. Very much recommend.

Great service from being greeted throughout the whole meal. Great steaks. Puddings good but the meat was the reason Goodman's is so good. Great decor. Thought it would be more expensive so pleasantly surprised but please don't put the prices! Definitely will reccomend. Would like to go again when I have the cash and am in London. Nice.
