The food never disapoints here as its consistently excellent. Wine list is quite good and reasonable. The service is the only thing lacking but only when the owner is not involved.

Food always good and consistent with the owner more than willing to accommodate any request. Only issue can be the service if the owner is not involved.

Wonderful dinner, everything was delicious from starters to main, this restaurant is a little gem, tucked away from the craziness of knightsbridge and at reasonable prices too

Good food, great intimate atmosphere, and exceptional service. We were pleasantly surprised and I'd recommend eating at Giovanni's if you are ever in the area.

My girlfriend and I had a most enjoyable lunch in Giovanni last Friday. The restaurant was quiet but we sat outside on the pavement and had a most delightful meal. The food was excellent, the wine good and the staff were friend,y and helpful.

Pleasant room opening on to a quiet backstreet, with friendly service, and delicious food. Servings were generous an there was a good choice of specials, several of which tempted members of my party. Prices were reasonable for this part of London, with no attempt to charge extra for side dishes; bread was charged at £1.50, but the basket was refilled without asking and at no extra charge. The deserts and wine seemed particularly good value. Complimentary digestifs were served to us all and were appreciated; the water melon flavoured liqueur was an interesting change from the more common limoncello.

As ever, we had a wonderful dinner. The specials are always a good choice and this evening was no different. Service was attentive without being over the top, and the "neighbourhood" ambience is perfect.

This restaurant serves consistently good food of a very high standard. Setting is small but pleasant and I can thoroughly recommend it, as it is a hidden jewel so close to Knightsbridge.

Good location in quiet street. The menu is not long - a good sign - and the special menu was delicious. It was not crowded on a Monday evening.

Reserved for today's Sunday lunch several weeks ago, but unfortunately the restaurant decided it was still ok to hold a four year old's birthday party today with lots of screaming kids and a children's entertainer who was using a megaphone! The restaurant should not have accepted customer bookings for lunchtime today when they had planned this children's party. The food was very good but the whole experience was spoilt by this mistake.

Very disappointed, especially as the reviews were great. Welcoming and friendly staff, but can only think the chef must have had the evening off. Can you believe that the avocado was "rock hard" - which self respecting chef would serve it up. Sea bass was slightly burnt. A great pity.

Fabulous restaurant; great food, atmosphere and people on a cozy little street. And I can imagine it being pretty magical in the summer when they can open the doors to the outdoors.

Cosy restaurant, and the food was delicious! Two of us had duck, cooked to perfection, and my pasta was lovely. The seafood salad looked good too, For us all the zabaglione was out of this world and we all had it. Since wetware having a reunion we,were, all happy to spend, most of the afternoon In the restaurant and were left in peace to talk. Thismwasmamvery good, food experience!

The location is perfect, and the decor was neat and chic. BUT. The food was nothing exceptional. The server/seemingly manager was loud on the phone about staffing issue. If I had planned to have dinner there I would have cancelled it as it seemed the chef would not show up! He also gave one or two almost-smile. Looked like he had the world on his shoulder. Apart from the fact that apart from my table there was only another one occupied, the athmosphere is not relaxing. WIll not return.

The food was excellent, the service diabolical. To call it Fawlty Towers would be a compliment. Although the restaurant was only half full it was exactly an hour from arriving before we had food of any sort; not even a breadstick was offered and it took 15 minutes to be given menus. The white wine was not kept chilled and the waitress had to be coached by the manager in every action. The service in a restaurant charging these premium prices was unacceptable.
