Fantastic service, food and drink in a great central location
My husband and I had lunch last Sunday, it was a lovely experience, beautiful views, delicious food, great service, everything was perfect ! Thank you.
Even if it´s a steak restaurant the vegetarian dishes were amazing :)
On one hand, the steaks and mushrooms were excellent. The cheese bread is dreamy! On the other hand, there were some unexpected extra surprises... a 12-1/2% discretionary (?) gratuity for our party of 3, getting still water in a bottle at $4/bottle when wanted tap water, $2/steak sauce (sometimes it’s included - sometimes not). As a customer, I’d like all of the extras explained clearly upfront. Overall, a good meal.
We felt very welcome and comfortable. Nice table with a incredible view to the towerbridge. Best meat in town 👍🏻😊!
Nice place & pre-meal bar service, but terribly SLOW service.
Had a lovely evening for my boyfriends birthday, service was fantastic
Service arbritrary, food good, house Malbec better than £45 bottle had to start. View nearly spectacular.
An Excellent meal and very good service. We will be back.
Overall this was a very nice meal but some things were a bit disappointing. We had drinks in the bar before our meal but despite being the only customers we struggled to get served and then the order was wrong, some of the furniture was worn as well. These negative comments shouldn’t completely overshadow the experience which overall was very nice, food was fantastic and service mostly very good.
Delicious food and great service. We had a fantastic time in Gaucho (Tower Bridge)!
Not great. We had not been in a while and will definitely not go again. Very disappointed. Food took over 40 min to arrive and we didn’t even take starter. For at least 30 min no one in the restaurant had food in the table. Something is not right. Really not good.
Stunning food & really helpful staff well worth a visit. Set in a great location with lovely views of London Bridge. Would recommend & will definitely be back
The food was not great and the place was ok
Excellent meat (truly Argentinean), very good and ample wines selection. Service was also great and the people I went with (from Scandinavia) loved the experience. Great atmosphere in a Tuesday night
The food was good but the service felt very uncoordinated, manager needed to oversee the staff. There were big gaps between ordering and being served and then being served and plates being cleared. It was my sons 21st birthday, which I pointed out in my reservation e-mail, but this was ignored even though I saw another table receiving a desert with a candle. Overall, a little disappointing
Good food Good Wine Good Service . Given the quality of some side order items some are certainly overpriced but will visit them again .
As usual good food and wine. With amazing view can’t go wrong
Great steak and wine. Although it is expensive what it is. Details of service need improving. the little things like warming the cognac. Cheese board really disappointing, great location overlooking the Thames and not as dark as the other Gaucho venues.
Gaucho is one of the top ☆ restaurants with an impressive Tower Bridge views. Superb recommended
Amazing food and wonderful customer service. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The steak was delicious, no complaints at all, would definitely recommend and go again.
Very great dinner. All the steaks cuts are perfect and cooked to perfection, they won’t miss your medium rare steak. If you have a little bit of fortune you will dine looking at Tower Bridge. Very satisfied indeed.
Unfortunately, the menu has changed at Gaucho, which is a huge negative for me. It appears to have been streamlined so a lot of what was previously available no longer is (for example, the ribeye medallions - 300g minimum of meat is too large a portion in my view). The restaurant was busy and the service was slow - this seems to be par for the course across the Gaucho chain now. We did have our table for a long time (probably beyond our cover time, to be honest) and when they needed the table back we were politely moved upstairs to the bar. However, the bill did not come with us and when we asked for the bill, the bar server asked us what we had consumed and how much we were expecting to pay.... in total, we asked for our bill 8 times. We did flag this to the manageress, who was an excellent hostess, and offered us a drink on the house to make up for it. We had an enjoyable evening overall, but after 2 less-than-optimal recent visits to Gaucho (at this branch and at the O2), I don't think I will be returning again.
Very good food and friendly staff. The decor is a bit tacky and you have to be willing to withstand a certain noise level but would still highly recommend!
English stile...Doar banii conteaza.
Food excellent - only slightly let down by service not being what I am used to from Goucho -eg. long time to get order but then food came quickly and long time to request bill at the end.
Gaucho was *delightful*, with extraordinary food and very accommodating staff that worked hard to make a 40th birthday special. Alberto was especially welcoming and took special care to make our 8-year-old laugh during what I'm sure seemed like a dull adult occasion. Our steaks were expertly prepared, and the dulche de leche cheesecake with marshmallow was like a creamy s'more. Outstanding.
The food and service was very good, but you can find similar quality for a bit cheaper elsewhere, however the location is outstanding. We were lucky and got a window suit and it was just gorgeous at night. I highly recommend it for a special occasion.
Service was great , food was great , the atmosphere was good , only down side to many children running around , I have kids myself so no problem with kids there but shouldn’t be running around
i love the restaurant , food is great , service is impeccable , only thing that i would fault if on is the menu change ... i was looking forward to having the lamb shank, with sweet potatoe mash , but was told it had been removed from the menu ... slightly dissapointed
The food was good albeit a little pricey. The staff very welcoming in particular our guy Robbie. I much prefer leaving my "Tip" in order that I can reflect the standard of service and how much my friends and I have enjoyed the evening rather than being hit with a £60 service charge. That said we did have a very nice meal and an enjoyable night.
The Food was lovely, sadly the service was very disappointing, waiting for 30minutes for drinks and 1 hour for food after having to ask several times. When the food turned up the sauces were forgotten, and thankfully the food was really nice because we had to wait till we were finished before we saw a member of staff to order another drink. At this point we just wanted to leave. We highlighted the issues to the staff, who were very apologetic. For such a well recommended restaurant I would have expected much better and polished service, and for the price.
Steak wasn’t the best I’ve had sorry Compared to your other restaurants Meet and greet was great Service was great views amazing Ordered dessert house special but to hear you ran out So had to choice something else I’ll love to come again and try it
Nice food but the service could be better. Some items were missed from our order. Nice view of the river decor also nice. We did get a refund on the missed items.
