Incredible. Absolutely incredible. The 3 essential components to a perfect dining experience were 10/10: Food, wine, and service. You’d have to search high and low for a better experience which was made even more exceptional by the live music.

Great bar and restaurant with amazing food, a fantastic range of gin and tonics and very efficient service. The place had a lovely ambience, I’d definitely recommend.

Lovely atmosphere as soon as you walked in the door. Seen to straight away at the bar and seated in the restaurant. Water on the table and drinks and food order taken quickly. Food was outstanding!! 2 mains and 2 puddings plus 3 drinks was just over £60. Will definitely return.

Lovely food and great service which was both quick and friendly. All of our party (four people) enjoyed their meal and the puddings were delicious.

Had a lovely mother’s day there. All staff were friendly. All food came on time. We all enjoyed our meals. Only criticism was from my partner who said his rice wasn’t seasoned.

Excellent service & great choice menu although limited due to Mother’s Day . Thought roast dinner be an obvious choice but not available & Was a talking point at the tables around me too but the food was very tasty & great selection of vegetables

Booked Fredericks for my husband's birthday meal on Saturday. We were originally seated next to a large group of about 10, we couldn't hear each other speak so asked to be moved and this was done straight away - fab! Bit of a long wait for our mains but the waitress was very attentive and chased it up for us without us mentioning it to her. Food was really good. Waitress was amazing.

Lovely food and friendly service, will definitely be back. The tempura prawns on the tapas menu were particularly good as was the chocolate brownie for pudding.

Had a meal at fredericks on Valentine’s Day but not for that reason, was wife’s birthday so had our 6yr old girls with us, and to be honest could fault the place food,service, atmosphere all really good would go again in a heartbeat when next round there, ps best lemon cheesecake dessert I’ve had. Just go there!

Much improved under the new management! Service good. Food taste and quality very good. Portion sizes were small for the main course and no sides explained/offered - eg the lasagne was just is a dish on its own.

Lovely surroundings and live music - which was very good - added to the overall atmosphere. Food, wine and the service where excellent . We will definitely be visiting again.

Good variety of food on the menu. We had a Great meal and although the background music was a nice touch it was too loud. I would have otherwise given full marks

The food was good and the service was attentive but unfortunately we were cold during the meal due to a draft coming from the main door.

Not as good as previous times which was a little disappointing. Mixed platter of spring roles and calamari etc all tasted the same, whilst the risotto main I had was bland and only warm not hot. Service was great as always

Food nice but waited an awful long time for it to arrive. Wasnt impressed with dessert. Waitress very attentive. Whole place lacked atmosphere. Young man playing guitar and singing very good but volume far too loud so we couldn't have a proper conversation without shouting at each other

We had a lovely Chateaubriand meal, with a glass of red wine included in the price. The barman/waiter was very welcoming and made our stay. He looked after us which was a big part of the reason for such a high score. The furnishings and ambience was excellent. We'd definitely recommend and we'll be returning ourselves shortly; to try another meal.

Lovely food, suggested 2-3 tapas and a side per person, we had 4 and a side between us and there was too much! Great service

We went on New Years Day at lunchtime, which was quiet. Ambience was pleasant and the food was nice, well cooked and modern in it’s presentation, but I wouldn't say it was great value for the price we paid. I would go again, maybe in the evening next time.

Good food, nice cocktails and a pleasant setting made for another satisfying trip to Fredericks. This is the fifth time I’ve eaten here, enjoyed each visit. Particular highlights are the fillet steak, lasagne, and the superfood salad.

A very good meal, food was excellent as was the service, the staff were very pleasant and the decoration and atmosphere was wonderful for a Christmas Dinner.

First visit to Fredericks. Would recommend the Sunday lunch, it was delicious. Staff all friendly and efficient. A nice atmosphere and lovely decor. Will definitely return.

Lovely restaurant and our food was very tasty and well cooked. The staff were cheery and there to help, The only reason it didn't get full marks was that we waited quite a long time to get our bill and had to ask twice. We will def return.

FIrst visit to Fredericks and it was lovely. Really nice inside, a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. The staff were really efficient even though the restaurant was really busy and the food was superb especially the dessert which was so big I couldn’t manage it.

Very good service and fish and chips were great. Good value for money and the cocktails were lovely. Would definitely recommend for food or just a drink.

We had lunch; we were made very welcome. There was a good range of vegetarian food to choose from. Meals arrived promptly and the food was wholesome and fresh. The hand cooked chips were just great. We stayed ages and were not made to feel we should leave as the place was closing - staff very unobtrusive and professional. Decor is pleasant and the music fine. Prices were very reasonable. Altogether a very pleasant experience which I certainly would recommend.
