Table booked for 5.45pm. Note on table when we arrived saying table required again for next booking at 7.30pm, so to make sure finished. Thought this was not good at all as we felt we had to rush to get out !!! Spent £32+ on meal and a soft drink. Would have liked not to have been pressured. Food was very nice, but come on, stop rushing people !!!!

Nicely styled restaurant, friendly helpful staff. Great food. Good value too would definitely go back. Cockermouth is a very nice town to visit and have a wander too.

Excellent service and the food was delicious, we had tapas and all the dishes did not disappoint! The cocktail were good too! 😋 Will definitely be back soon!

Service was excellent. We enjoyed our food which was reasonably priced. Somewhat surprised by the use of tinned peaches in the mess desert, but enjoyable none the less.

Frederick’s was recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed. Speedy service from friendly staff and nicely cooked food means we will be back.

Delicious food; the hake was particularly good; lovely surroundings, superb customer service (the guys were excellent) . It just gets better and better every time we go.

We had the tapas and really enjoyed them, the selection was a bit different from the usual Spanish types. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall enjoyed it.

Really good food and Great live entertainment. Lovely friendly staff. New potatoes and sticking toffee pudding were highlights. We will definatly be returning again soon.

Great menu with lots of choice. Staff really friendly and helpful. The building has plenty of room and seating is comfortable. Would recommend as a place to visit when in Cockermouth.

Excellent service and food is second to none. A’ la carte quality for reasonable prices. We have eaten here a number of times and would recommend to anyone. Atmosphere and decor is perfect for any occasion.

Friendly staff serving tasty, well presented food in a very smart and modern restaurant & bar. Nice to be able to do Tapas or mains or a mix of both.

Nice food great company and suroundings plenty of choice I would advise a visit and bet it's really busy at the weekend great waiting staff too

Super restaurant with super service and good value. Was perfect for a quick early evening pizza with family after fun at Maryport Cave at the Wave. Would recommend to all.

Always enjoy Fredrick’s but feel the menu has been reduced with not as much choice, some of our favourites are not on anymore. Service good.

Been a couple of times the staff attention is brilliant. The setting is brilliant. The food is also very good. I would just like to see a more varied menu that changes now and again

Lovely vibrant place to eat in Cockermouth. Quite noises so don’t go here if you prefer it quiet. Food was really good worth a visit.

Great food but we were seated in what felt like a corridor between the main bar area and rear restaurant, should have said something but we didn't.

This was our first visit to Fredricks for a meal...there is a vast choice on the menu, but I found my Persian Lamb tappas much too hot and spicy and my salmon pasta dish was all pasta and no flavour. It's a very noisy environment in the restaurant area, with all hard furnishings. I am unlikely to return to eat again. However the cocktails were good, so perhaps a drink in the bar before going on to eat elsewhere :)

Lovely place, nice deco and smart young waiting staff, very attentive. Food really nice, open kitchen area, went for Sunday lunch and looked over dinner and alternative lunch menu, good varied choice, will definitely be back.

Lovely restaurant very modern and inviting but our meal wasnt as we expected.Steak was cooked to my choice but chips where very dry and peppercorn sauce was like water too thin.

Service was friendly and pretty quick. I had the dipping platter to start and the Persian lamb for main, both of which were lovely. Would go again and recommend to others.

We received excellent service with great food and drink and great company. We have dined at Fredericks before and will definitely dine at Fredericks again.

We waited to get seated for a wee while but once seated service was impeccable. Staff are so friendly and attentive. Food was amazing (as usual). Can't wait to come back.

Excellent location, decor, and service topped off with brilliant food. Served in good time. Must try the sticky toffee pudding. No issues with the place at all.

Great staff, lovely atmosphere, however, I have been vomiting since eating here, I believe it’s food poisoning. Not the best way to spend your 21st birthday, in hindsight I should’ve gone to Shills.

Lovely food. Great service. Would recommend. Only down side was there was a few fly around but couldn't really be helped with it been a red hot day. Also with trying to get someone's attention to pay was very hard. But this wouldn't put me off going back.

Beautifull food,lovely atmosphere-the staff are very friendly and the cocktails are to die for-a little bit pricey but happily to pay more as it was top quality food

Good food served promptly , good wine on offer although wine list not up to date , pleasant surroundings in light spacious environment , generally friendly service although one waiter was a bit terse. We have been before and we will go again.

Very pleasant and attentive staff. The restaurant is clean and modern. The food was delicious and reasonable sized portions. We had the super food salad, chicken breast, haddock and chips and harissa spiced cous cous. Finished off with the ice cream and Mediterranean mess. Thourghly enjoyable evening.

We had a great time food was lovely only downfall is all tapas cane at sane time and some of it went cold so could hv done with it coming in two stages , otherwise the atmosphere , service was good

We've been having dinner and it was everything perfect. Very nice restaurant separated from the pub bar. The service was really thoughtful and the food just fantastic. We will definitely repeat the experience.

Went for lunch last Saturday and the food was beautiful. Even the children loved it. Great service, waiter was lovely. Would have had top marks but we did wait a little while for dessert. Other than that small detail couldn't fault it. Gorgeous deco too and lovely atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Will definitely be back.
