Lovely table for early evening drinks - service was very friendly

Due to circumstances we had a very good afternoon catching up with friends. Service and staff very helpfull especially with trying to order off a app thats proberly bad part of afternoon other than that Thank you

Food was dreadful. Been many times before and we were so disappointed yesterday. The food seemed old and reheated. It wasn’t hot. Wish I hadn’t gone.

Arrived and was seated, very good behind a screen, table clean used app to order food and drink very easy. All in all fab.

I shared information about an allergy at booking and again to two members of staff when ordering but unfortunately still had an allergic reaction to the food. Nice restaurant and lovely service but they obviously do not know their ingredients!

Had a nice meal there is always someone on another table that talks loud and takes over we had one this time where where dining But that is not the restaurants fault

Venue was fine. Slightly disappointed with the dessert. Lemon meringue was a tart with a meringue stuck on top very poorly constructed

Very disappointing Food tasted old and over cooked Waitress did not ask how our meal was or if we wished to taste the wine. Once meal ordered then ignored !!!

Sunday lunch options should include vegan. Really disappointed about this and limited vegan dessert options. Eating habits are changing to include plant based options so Fothergills should mirror the changes with more plant based menu.

Beautiful environment, areas for eating have a personalised feel, such a happy experience.

I love going to Fothergills, the food is excellent and the chef always accommodates my certain quirks. The staff are friendly and discreet when necessary. I and my colleagues will be back 😃

Fantastic food, one of the nicest steaks I have ever had!

I requested Lincolnshire sausages from the menu and was told that there was none available. We ordered 2 gin and tonics and they did not arrive until after the meal had arrived. My wife ordered moules and there were a lot of broken shells in them as well as it being a small plateful. The french bread was dry and had probably been left out. My burger was on a really small plate with a small portion of chips as they could not fit any more on the plate. Likewise the salad. We were really looking forward to our meal out for valentines day but ended up sorely disappointed. We decided against pudding and left. Hindsight says that we should have complained there and then but that is not our style. 2 main courses and 2 drinks cost almost £40. Last week we went to ZiZi's and had 3 courses and a drink for less money.

Didn't like Valentine menu so ate from standard menu food was great . Very friendly staff and very tentative
