Very friendly service and great food. We keep coming back
Great service, lovely ambience & the food is very good.
Great food. Lovely staff. We were going on to a show so they served us quickly as requested.
Always a pleasure to come here excellent food, start and ambience
Booked this restaurant for my mum’s birthday. Asked for still water and was charged £9.50 for 2 bottles of water even though we hadn’t asked for 2. Our server was not attentive to pouring our drinks and spilled the water on the table. Without cleaning it up afterwards. She then returned and knocked something over spilling more water on the table and the floor. At no point was there a birthday greeting for my mum which was quite unfortunate.
Always a nice friendly welcome by your staff , perfect food and service . Consistently brilliant.
The food was very good, although the Dover Sole I had did seem a little tough. When I've had it before, it has flaked, this had to be cut. That said it was delicious. It is s little pricey for what you get, particularly the starters, but then again, its a restaurant in Covent Garden, so .... Would definitely go again.
It was ok not great. Service was a bit disorganized. Good was good. Portion was minuscule.
Good service, nice atmosphere - the food was enjoyable but none of the four dishes were anything but ‘good’
Very quiet today so slightly short on atmosphere but suited us fine and excellent lunch thank you.
Great food and service the restaurant was also very clean
Food scrumptious Staff amazing and friendly Restaurant very nice and welcoming
The staff are very pleasant, really friendly and helpful. Our fish and chips was really delicious. Great restaurant perfect for a pre theatre meal.
Enjoyed the relaxed dining experience, more expensive than our normal places to eat but we knew that before booking.
Great location, great waitress, good food and wine. Good for theatre.
Fabulous food and lovely people. If you like fish, go!
Great service, excellent food and an excellent evening, highly recommend.
5*Food 5* friendly service, food cooked and presented to perfection
The service was amazing and very attentive! The food was out of this world...I had the Halibut and my husband had the yellow tail tuna. He's not a "seafood" guy so for him to approve means a lot!
Lovely restaurant l. Great service and lovely food went for a cooked seafood platter and it was lovely.
Outstanding food. Service OK, not great. Very close to theaters on the Strand.
Not really fresh. Food comes very late. Taste is so so
Great for a pre theatre dinner, excellent speedy service, but not hurried.
Very very very nice food, place, meniu and people .
Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Would definitely visit again
Its the hotest tip for fresh Fish. We went the second rtime and weren‘t dissapointed. Great service, we will return.
Excellent service and food. Great menu choices and very fresh.
Was amazed to be told that I had phoned the day before and cancelled the booking don't know what happened there but table was found and service and were very good overall good experience
Enjoyed our pre theatre meal here. Its a good choice for fish and seafood fans but there are plenty of other choices too. Very convenient for the theatre Royal and Covent Garden. Nice decor on a sea theme.
Very enjoyable meal, very fresh lobster with a good side salad.
Good service but very average food. Ordered an appetiser each and the seafood plater for two. Saying it looked tired was a euphemism. Ate about half the food and left the rest.
We thoroughly enjoyed lunch at Fishworks - Covent Garden yesterday. The fish was fresh, beautifully prepared and elegantly served, we had the catch of the day which was bream and sea bass. Our waiter was kind, professional and attentive. The location is away from the crazy bustle of the Piazza in a quiet street lined with restaurants. The atmosphere was relaxed, and we were made to feel very comfortable. In term of price, for the area and quality of the fish I think it was very fair.
Food was amazing. We did have to wait quite some time for anyone to come over to take a drink order but service good once we had ordered. Wouldn’t stop me going back
Have been many times but brought a couple of different friends this time. Food and drinks were very good and the staff were excellent. See you next time 🥰
Every time I visit London, I make sure one dinner is at Fish Works. You know it’s great when many locals enjoy their food.
The fish soup is fabulous, the fresh fish of the day (and there's more than one!) excellent. Service was friendly and efficient.
Was very enjoyable, lovely wine, great meal. Would come again
We arrived at a quiet time which was perfect. Food and service both great. Dishes arrived in good time and beautifully presented.
All good thanks 🙏 food drink service spot on thanks
Brilliant - as always - my favourite restaurant in London
The restaurant was great , staff friendly and attentive . Had the fish platter (3 tiers) the top layer was overly salty, with large flakes of sea salt . Wanted a table at a specific time but had to have 15 mins early when restaurant was empty. But would visit again
The food was very delicious and the staff was very polite. We were very happy that the food was served quick. The interior of the r-t is nice. I have only 2 points to make here: - the red faux-leather chairs definitely need renovation as they look very old, dirty and quite scruffy, so they really don't fit to the rest of the nice interior. The red color of the surface of these chairs is quite blackish from dirt and it starts to look quite unhygienic. - the starter, Scallops in their shelfs were very nice. The staff who serves them should inform the customer when serving, that the shelfs arevery, very hot. My partner burned quite badly his thumb when he touched the shelf in attempt to move 1 scallop from the main plate to his personal small plate. I sow later - on the thumb thete was small white blister from the burn and my partner works manual job, so it is rwally painful today. So, dear staff and manager, please have this simple Health and Safety in mind when you serve very hot plates, or shelfs...because if we were in the USA, some custimers qould sue you.
A very nice evening with great food and serviceGreat service and great food Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend the place
Great value and delicious seafood in convivial setting with outstanding staff.
Bedienung war Freundlich und sehr Qualifiziert im ganzen ein schöner Abend . Auf jedenfall Empfehlenswert
We love this place! The quality of the food and the location is amazing, always bringing guests that come to London there
Food provided tasted excellent. However, meal I ordered, tangled dangerously with trade description act. Had seafood linguini including mussels, prawns & samphire. Plenty of mussels, 11/2 prawns & 5 ( yes, just five), very thin strands of samphire. Discussed with very pleasant front of house who made enquiries with chef & was advised that quantities of seafood were in accordance with instructions set down by management. Management need to get their act together as letting down their staff.
Delicious tuna, scallops and oysters and lovely atmosphere. Very leisurely
Food was tasty but small portions for sure. It’s quite loud inside
