I visited The Farmers Arms for the first time with 5 family members and we were very happy with everything about it. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated.

Good food as usual, and friendly and efficient staff . Very rarely disappoints.

Lovely venue, excellent fresh food. However Service was a little slow and one meal ( salad) arrived 10 minutes after the other 5 hot meals!

Excellent warm friendly service. No loud music, which I detest. Go for a meal to eat and chat with friends and not shout over some awful noise or music. Food, especially the cheese and onion pie, was awesome. Great choice of beers and lagers too.

Good food and service. The only one downside was, quite a few meals were taken from the menu as they had ran out.

I was meeting friends I have not see for over 12 months. It was their first visit and they were very impressed.

A very busy lunchtime. We had a bit of a wait for the food but it was well served, well cooked and delicious. We had a fillet steak, well done which was just perfect and fish and chips which were great. To finish we both had profiteroles which were just the right portion size and delicious, being light and crispy on the outside and filled with cream A perfect way to celebrate a special day!

Excellent food, great staff, good evening !! We will return soon.

Would like to see child’s menu more varied. Tomato sauce for pasta dish wasn’t as expected as 8 year old said it didn’t taste the same as normal. However adult meals were excellent, the large portions were astonishing.

The food was ok but the service was rude, waitress made us feel unwelcome and we won’t be returning.

Waiter was very good had a small problem with starter but she sorted it straight away. Very pleasant

The food was excellent. Our waitress Emily always had a smile on her face and was very attentive. The atmosphere was great. All in all a great time was had by us. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to Hannah, Michelle and Emily for making our evening an enjoyable one

Everything was great but they only had French fries and not the home cooked ones and they still charged us the same amount even though they didn’t have what was on the menu and they were just using frozen french fries

Nice evening meal with an old friend and the service was great. Have been before and it's a lovely menu but decided to have fish and chips this time which was a little on the greasy side. Lovely surroundings and ambience though and overall had a good experience.

Great service as always, food was perfect and I am gagging for more of their Yorkshire puddings.

We were a party of four . Plates were cleared of the table before we had all finished eating.

There was clearly something wrong in the kitchen today. Folks were being served with Mash & Chips, Pie & Mash, the Roast Beef was like leather and the wait to be served was shocking. We paid for our drinks and left.

We had to wait 1hr for food, poor attention from staff, incorrect meal served, lack of leadership among staff, limited menu available. Disappointed as this is our local pub which you should expect a simple meal.

Went there on a Saturday evening. 2 of us had a great meal. Service from the young lady waitress was excellent and the atmosphere was just right

Fabulous lunch. Great atmosphere. Stayed until 6:00pm Didn’t want to leave. That says it all except this rating robot required fourteen extra unnecessary words entering.

The atmosphere was inviting, the food was very good, services excellent & staff very helpful & pleasant. We will definitely eat at the Farmers Arms again.

had a Great lunch only complaint I am so full can hardly move after 3 courses and wine. sea bass was very fresh and cooked to perfection

Booked a table for 4. The service was very good and the food (I had the Beef Brisket) was really good. Only let down was the wine I wanted was out of stock, however the second choice was good so no complaints.
