We had the afternoon tea which was good quality and substantial if a little pricey. Nicely decorated in the stables Was difficult to find from the postcode - needs better directions on the website

Excellent quality food in a beautiful restaurant. The welcome, the service and the attentiveness were second to none. This was our second visit and there will be many more!

Lovely lunch at The Dining Room, the setting is gorgeous and a warm, friendly atmosphere. Had a chicken Caesar salad which was delicious followed by mini cake selection and coffee. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend.

tha ambiance is comfortable, quiet, unhurried. The service is cheerful, efficient and helpful. However, the lunch menu is heavy on breads and toasties with few, if any, interesting little light bites

Food was very good indeed. Generous portions. The free bottle of water was a nice touch too. I will definitely be going back! The tables could be spaced a little further apart, but it may have felt like you were sitting close to the next tables due to the ample and comfy chairs.

Friendly helpful staff. Good range of lunch time food, the meals we choose were excellent, both fresh and well presented The scones and cream we had to finish our meal were well worth the calories

Service could be quicker, half an hour wait for Welsh rarebit and a toasted sandwich. Food was tasty but portions especially for the Welsh rarebit have decreased as has the limited choice on the menu.

Amazing food steak was cooked to perfection pudding was melt in your mouth with very attentive service couldnt ask for any more will definitely be back

A very busy restaurant, the all round high standard remains constant and The Dining Room has become our 'go to' eatery in the area. Following a warm welcome by the owner Harry, he will ensure that you are well looked after and you will soon be seated at your table. Delicious canapés are served, the quality gives a clue as to what treats are to follow from the ample menu.

Fantastic, and I mean fantastic food. Service was really friendly but they seemed to forget about us after the main meal. It didn't detract from our enjoyment as we were glad of the chance to catch up after not seeing each other for a while. Would have been full marks had we not have had to prompt for drinks, pudding and the bill.

I took my parents for lunch and we all throughly enjoyed the experience, the food was excellent and the staff welcoming and helpful. The quality of the food was really good and it was excellent value for money. We will definitely return very soon.

Really delightful staff, I had booked in celebrating my sister in laws and my birthday's. we were given a complimentary glass of bubbly on arrival. The meal was absolutely gorgeous.

food very well cooked and service fast and friendly. Not 6 points because of one or two food prejudices. I found the potted prawns too full of clarified butter for my taste. Also I was persuaded that pink venison is OK, but one of the slices was too bloody for my taste. I was offered the choice of having it more well done and will take that option next time.

Excellent excellent food - the service was OK but a bit sketchy - didn't know drinks or food menu that well - lighting far too bright in dining room even after we asked for it to be turned down

A bit slow coming back to us for dessert, coffee, etc so ended up getting up for the bill. Otherwise loved it. Great setting. Great food and really cold bubbly 😀

Fantastic Sunday lunch, excellent service and great value for money. The attention given by the attentive staff who are warm, gentle and nothing is too much trouble. (The spa facilities are beautiful too.)

Afternoon tea was excellent as was the service. The staff were working around a wedding but managed to keep delays to a minimum. Would recommend to anybody.

The Dining Room is an idyllic venue for both lunch or dinner (have sampled both and was not disappointed), food was plentiful and great quality, service was impeccable and the setting is beautiful. Would highly recommend.

We absolutely love The Dining Room. I have been for breakfast, lunch and special evening meals. The welcome is great, the food is always faultless and the ambience is really special.

Really lovely meal, great menu, great staff, lovely decor. Will definitely be going again and recommending to friends and family. The only thing that could have made it a little better is if there was a baby changer in the toilet.

Service was good, the dining room light and spacious, the Springs is a nice place to enjoy a leisurely lunch. The salmon and prawn salad was the perfect choice for a sunny day, delicious and plentiful. My husband chose the mackerel with poached eggs, as he had enjoyed it so much on a previous visit, andalthough tasty the size of portion was much smaller this time around ! We ordered lattes - I do wish the waitress had asked if we wanted chocolate sprinkles before serving, as neither of us like them.
