Ephesus Restaurant

Food at Ephesus is normally very pleasant. I decided to go for something different and chose a lamb dish encased in a aubergine basket. It sounded lovely but there was virtually no lamb! I love aubergines but there was not much else. If I go back I will probably stick to the usual dish.

As always this is a great little restaurant with fantastic food, excellent staff and great atmosphere. The staff are very friendly too. Can't wait to go back

Nice welcome, cosy and quaint little restaurant. Parking across the road, so very convenient. Service was good and food was excellent. We will be back.

Delicious food and very attentive staff. Restaurant was busy but food was served quickly. Highly recommended for couples or groups. Leave room for a dessert of 2!

The food was amazing and the staff were really friendly. The food was served really quickly but not so much that you felt hurried or overwhelmed. We had the full 3 courses and were absolutely stuffed and thoroughly enjoyed the night. If i had to find a criticism it would be a slight language barrier where we ordered a rasberry gin and got something else and chicken sish but got lamb. Regardless it was all lovely and they were apologetic and did offer to change.

This a great little restaurant with helpful staff who want you to share their love of the food of their country. It is very clean and the decor atmospheric.

Food fantastic, service with a smile and wine was lovely. We really enjoyed our evening in a relaxed environment. We would highly recommend Ephesus restaurant.

Very welcoming and efficient staff. Food was cooked fresh and delicious. Tables a bit close together, and not cheap, but a very good quality meal. Will definitely go back.

First time at Ephesus, the reception was warm and friendly, food was as good as anything I've had in Turkey. I would recommend with out hesitation

This was our first visit to this restaurant and it won't be our last. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and very authentic and of course the Efes draught brings back all the holiday memories. I was even checking the menu for my next visit before I left.

booked Ephesus for 4 people , the resteraunt has a lovely atmosphere, service was very attentive and the food absolutely spot on. Would defiantly recommend and we will be back .

Really friendly and helpful staff. Food was quick to arrive and excellent. Only negative comment would be that a friend had a glass of the house white wine and it was awful (we all had a taste to confirm!) It seemed quiet for a Friday night and we were the last to leave (staff were literally leaving as we left) and it was only 9.30 which seems a shame. Would definitely recommend it based on food and great service.

Very pleasant environment with friendly staff. My babaganush had a lovely smoky authentic flavour and the lamb shish was very tender and beautifully seasoned. Also enjoyed the unusual beer, which I hadn't seen before. I look forward to going there again - highly recommended.

We had a great experience at Ephesus! The service was excellent, the food delicious and the Turkish ambience perfect! The waiter knew what each of the dishes were which made ordering easy. True value for money!

Very welcoming and service by staff very good. The food was delicious. Being vegetarian I was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of foods to suit my pallet.

Great food with attentive staff. Went on a rainy Monday lunchtime so very quiet but have been in an evening when the atmosphere is much livelier.

We all had something different from the menu and even though it was a busy Saturday night and the restaurant was full it was an excellent meal and service. Glad we booked a table!

The food is always good here and also the service the only thing I find difficult whilst dining at this restaurant is the noise level. I think because the tables are close together, when it is busy, it is hard to hear what the people on your table are saying. I was due to go again this weekend but because I have a lot to discuss with my guest we are going somewhere quieter.

Second visit, excellent Mediterranean food and friendly staff. Very busy on both occasions, which is a good recommendation in itself. Would rate it as one of the top restaurants in Morpeth.

As always, the staff are very attentive without being over the top and make it a relaxing evening, the food is excellent. My advice is, try it and see what you have been missing.

I went with 2 friends having only eaten Turkish food in Turkey I was most pleasantly surprised a lot of restaurants tend to make a watered down version of the true home cooked food for the English palate Not so Ephesus what we ate was truly home made Turkish food we loved it and will be most definitely returning again and again and the prices are excellent a thoroughly enjoyable meal also the staff are very helpful and attentive definitely a most enjoyable experience

As always the food, the waiters and the wine were excellent. Those are the reasons we keep going back there and hope nothing changes. They have got it just right, no over the top false fussing about. Well done to all the staff.

Food excellent as always. Felt that the staff were a little to keen to take plates away etc. Maybe it was just the time we were in

Restaurant was very busy, but service and food were both excellent. A good menu is offered, ur party of 4 all enjoyed the courses we had , the mixed mesa starters poked a good choice too for those not familiar with Turkish food.

2nd rime hear and just as gorgeous . Took my husbands parents for there anniversary . It was quite busy but our table was ready and we were seated by friendly staff our drinks orders taken . Then staff available as soon as we were ready to order . We were brought a bowl of warm herb bread and olives and soft cheese on the house as you wait for your meal it was delicious piping hot and plenty of it and it tasted gorgeous every one was really pleased. The deserts were delicious too i cant fault any part it was a excellent experience from start to finish the bill comes in a little wooden chest with some delicious turkish delight on a plate little things add to the experience will definatly be back thankyou for a wonderful meal.

We hadn't been since the restaurant opened two years ago, but will definitely be going again now! The food, service, wine and atmosphere were all great, and the menu offers a good variety of options to suit all tastes. The Turkish wine was a first for us, but went down very well! Food was served very quickly. serving/waiting staff seemed to be in a rush when there was no need to be. Had to ask 2 members of staff for the bill. Food was average, expected something more exciting.

Very good welcome. Good menu choices, ingredients well explained in English. The service at the table was prompt and courteous . Excellent Turkish wine. Loved the stuffed apricots.

Our first time visiting Ephesus - we were greeted by friendly staff and seated straight away. The menu choice was good and varied and when it came the food was delicious. We will certainly be back.

One word....AMAZING!!! The staff were so pleasant and friendly the service was efficient and the food was out of this world!!! It's a must for anyone that has wanted to go but hasnt yet!

The booking system online was efficient. We had the set lunch menu which was great value at £8.99 for 3 courses. The starters and the mains in particular were delicious. The coffee was good. Staff were friendly and efficient. I have been there before and I will definitely be going there again.
