Elia Greek Restaurant

First time eating at Elia and we would definitely go back again. Good atmosphere, attentive staff (not overly attentive), great food and service was quick for a busy Saturday service.

Thus is my favorite restaurant. The staff are always very friendly. Considering the fact that the restaurant was extremely busy, the service was very good and food was brilliant. Just love it here.

Loved this restaurant, the food and service was amazing and for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back and will recommend to friends and family.

Have dined here several times and once again good food 🥘 and helpful and attentive staff experience. Will be back again soon. Merry Xmas yamas.

Elia more than met my expectations as they had Lovely staff, tasty food at excellent prices, great value for money! Added bonus was looking onto the Christmas lights on George Square.

Delicious food but incredibly slow service. They ran out of pitta bread and we didn't get our 2nd course until we had been there over an hour and a half. Staff were very polite though.

Lunch time menu is good value with good food, comfortable atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and great location in the heart of the city centre.

Excellent service. Soup hot and filling. Mousaka portion on the small side and served with rice, but very tasty Should have remembered and asked for chips!. Great value for money.

Lovely restuarant. It was warm (on a v cold and dark November night) and bright. The staff were lovely and the food was, as always, excellent.

I have a particular liking for the food I choose at Elia Greek Restaurant, the experience of these dishes at Elia was to say the least disappointing. The Keftedes were hard, dry and overcooked on a bed bed of shrivelled leaves. Keftico, the lamb shank was more gristle than edible meat and I had to leave at least three quarters of it, what was edible was extremely fatty. The one redeeming feature of Elia was the staff who were very attentive and friendly. I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody let alone friends.

Good happy atmosphere. Good service. Good food. Will be back. Waiting staff very pleasant. Nothing is too much trouble. Nice Greek music playing in the background. A little piece of Greece in Glasgow.

I HAVE USED THIS RESTURANT OVER AND OVER AGAIN FOR LUNCH, DINNER AND CHRISTMAS NIGHT OUTS, THE FOOD IS ALWAYS TO A HIGH STANDARD AND THE STAFF ARE SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE LOCATION FOR ME IS SO GOOD RIGHT ON GEORGE SQUARE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ELIA.

Very good food and excellent and pleasant staff. Great room with lots of space, and they let you get on with chatting with your company and don't stand over you waiting for you to leave. Perfect.

Been for lunch at Elia previously and once again was not disappointed.great food and value, very friendly staff and the service is first class.will certainly be returning.

Starter of steamed mussels were very tasty and plenty of them. Main courses of lamb kleftiko and beef stifado were excellent, both were lovely and tender. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely return.

We visited Elia Greek on Tuesday evening for the early evening menu. The service was good, the food from that menu was good as well but not perfect as expected. The portion of rice was very small compared to all the beef sauce. The dessert Kataifi was delicious. We'll come back to try A La Carte Menu.

Food was excellent felt like we were on holiday however service seemed to be very rushed. In and out in less than 1 hour even though we asked for a decent break between the starter and the main course.

Another great meal at the restaurant. The meatloaf on the specials menu was one of the nicest I’ve had, the staff could be more helpful.

Been to this restaurant many time now. Amazing food and great value for money! The service is brilliant -they couldn’t be more friendly. Perfect location next to George Square too! This particular meal will always be special to me now as my parter proposed to me in George Square when we left! We shall return for many anniversaries to come!! X

Fantastic fresh food and all food cooked fresh. the staff were very attentive and friendly. Great central location with a good view onto George Square to watch Glasgow life going by. Definitely will go back.

Lovely food. Good service. Choice of 2 course lunch menu for £6.95 which is good value - or choose from the regular menu. Would visit again. Place has nice atmosphere and the toilets are very clean! (Always a good thing)

Lovely resturant, pleasant helpful staff. The food was excellent have been before and as a favourite of one of our group decuded t try again as previously felt rushed .this was a pleasure, far more relaxed and dudnt feel rushed at all..woukd definitely go again

Sub standard food: reheated mousaka, lamb as tough as an old boot, old wilted salad, stale bread. If this is Greek food, no thank you.

Very good food and service. Only downside, we were not offered the lunch menu when we were first seated and had to ask if it was available.

Considering I only booked on the morning of the same day there were no problems and everything went smooth the staff welcomed us and we had a great night many thanks

Excellent value, friendly efficient staff Food was very good early evening menu offered a good range of option and my husband enjoyed the baked fish.

Well great customer service , without being pretentious, warm inviting atmosphere within the restaurant. As to food first class service , and not a long wait ( perhaps would not do wrong with lunch menu available rather than having to ask ) . But a minor glitch , ask for the specials as very good way to try things . On the whole a great experience well worth going to .

Very good food and loved the fact that we could choose different mezes to share in between us. The service was good asusual. Will definitely come back.
