I attended this establishment with my new work colleagues for a meal. I am 35 years old, have dined there many times and never been asked for ID when ordering a drink. This time I was asked for ID and unable to have a drink with my meal as I didn't have anything with me. I understand the challenge 25 rule however and let that go. I ordered the Korean bbq bao buns which I have had before and were lovely and not that spicy, however, this time they were so spicy I could barely eat them. The waiting staff were very good and did offer to change it for something else however the spiciness put me off eating anything. Afterwards I was given my dessert for free, however I do feel it was wrong that I was charged for the main course that I was unable to eat, I had maybe around four or five small bites of it before giving up on trying to eat it. When offering me the dessert for free, the staff member said that it was the restaurant's fault that my meal was too spicy to eat. My colleagues have stated that our next evening out will be elsewhere as they were not impressed by what happened. I booked here as it has always been a favourite and I have always had a good meal and great service, left feeling disappointed this time.

Been to Duncans for a few lunches since moving to Irvine with my partner. We've always really enjoyed it - good food & service. This meal was 1st visit with my daughter & her fiance. My daughter is Pescatarian & the menu offered her plenty of choice. She really enjoyed the Cajun salmon. The other 3 meals were all really good too!

Horrendous weather today. Beautiful brunch at Duncan's, lovely welcoming staff.. A lovely start to our day. Not busy when we arrived. Then started to fill up.

Had a beautiful meal (salmon) that was freshly cooked to perfection. Did not realise that there was a 25% off offer on a Tuesday evening, so that was a much appreciated added bonus. Can highly recommend Duncan’s for a high quality experience. Thank you!

It was our 3rd visit. The service was excellent, staff were very knowledgeable. Just found that my Prawn Linguine had too much herbs, that overpowered the dish. The waitress was made aware of this by myself.

The food was nice and the staff were polite and helpful.

Love it here and try and get in most weeks when we can. Always consistent service food and atmosphere.
