Excellent food & service. Will happily return for another visit. The perfect way to enjoy Sunday lunch. The Yorkshire pudding a highlight along with the red cabbage.
2nd visit to The Duke of York, another really great meal, really relaxed atmosphere, definitely go again. Children's menu is superb. Would recommend for families and couples.
Gorgeous food & very good portions. Lovely cosey place. Very friendly staff. One of our favourite doggy friendly pub. Would highly recommend for Sunday lunch
I found the staff very friendly and helpful. Due to some dietary restrictions, there was nothing on the Sunday lunch menu that I could have. Without any difficulty or fuss the chef cooked a separate meal for me which was delicious. I now know that if I go back another time, I can let them know in advance so arrangements can be made to meet my dietary requirements.
Good menu, well cooked and moderately priced. The service was attentive and surroundings very pleasant; it all made for an enjoyable get together with ex work colleagues.
Great service and lovely food in a friendly and chic pub. We went on a Sunday and the beef was really tasty, massive Yorkshire puds too!
A very pleasant lunch. Food was very tasty and good portions. Sunday lunch was 1, 2 or 3 course, would advise to book as quite a few people came in but they couldn't accommodate them for a while. Would return, weekday evening and lunch menu looked very good too.

excellent food, well cooked and presented. very impressive. front of house rather chaotic hope they sort it out soon because it is the only thing that lets them down
Food excellent, staff very good, wait for mains took a while but we didn't have a starter so that was expected but worth the wait will definitely be back
The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly, attentive & engaging! My only slight gripe is that the disinfectant they use in the lavatories is too strong smelling. When eating i got the odd whiff of it, which spoiled things a little. Next time I will sit further away from the loos, if poss. Yes, Its worth going back. Hope they sort that out.
Amazing food and lovely staff in a very nice restaurant! Would definitely recommend to others wanting somewhere nice to eat! Made for a very nice birthday meal! :)
Nice food, a bit different, so pleasant change. Good service. Accommodating for small child. Well presented pub, clean and well decorated. Would go back even if just for the superfood salad. More variety of gin please
Great service with a smile and lovely Sunday lunch .liked the fact you can eat on a Sunday until 8pm .A good choice of wine and beer too.I visited the toilets immaculate!!
Second visit to D of Y after experiencing a superb meal first time a few weeks ago. This time a little disappointing. My wife and I both had slow cooked lamb shoulder which was OK as far as I was concerned, but my wife said it was not as nice as when she had it before. First time it was very tender, pulled lamb shoulder, second time just slices, not as nice. Didn't say anything at the time as the place was quite busy and to be fair the meal overall wasn't too bad, just a disappointment with the presentation and quality of the lamb.
Very nice place with modern decor. Was served by a young girl who was very helpful. It was up market and the food was lovely.
Lovely food and good service. Very nice local pub, not too busy and nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend the Duke of York. Try it and you won't be disappointed.
Excellent meal, we had Sunday lunch which was delicious. 2 large slices of roast beef and veg cooked to perfection and perfect gravy one of the best ever. Highly recommended will certainly go again.
