A great spot. My first visy and would heartily recommend and return. Welcome was warm and genuine. Our food was also great. Super tasty langoustine - simply grilled. Prawns in lobster bisque also great. My OC Cheek main was brilliantly cooked. And lamb meatballs huge, crispy in the outside and lovely and soft inside. Home cooking. No pretentiousness.

Very enjoyable meal. Absolutely wonderful host who went above and beyond. Octopus leg, fish cakes with pea purée and lamb shoulder cannelloni were highlights of the evening. Cava brut wine was also very lovely.

Service with a personal touch and a small but attractive array of menu options in a bijou restaurant. Ordering a G&T is perhaps a little dear for what it is, but that aside, Don Diego is very much recommended.

Fantastic meal . The prawn starter was particularly delicious , and the octopus main outstanding though the pork in mushroom sauce was also lovely , Portions are generous so sadly we couldn’t manage a pudding - next time .

A pleasant restaurant with good food and service. Interesting (and slightly unusual) dishes from Spain. Worth noting that one has to buy side dishes to make a complete meal.

This is an outstanding restaurant with lovely vibe and food is amazing. Service is great too as Eddie and Alfonso, the owners, are excellent. I would highly recommend for a romantic dinner or a small celebration with a group of friends or family. Perfect location too opposite The White Swan

Hidden away in Chad's Square, it's walking distance from Edgbaston and neighboring Harborne. Generous, bold Spanish flavours lovingly prepared by Alphonso and served by his charming brother Eddie in their cosy, intimate restaurant. Worth a trip even if it's not on you doorstep.

My family and I ate at Don Diego last night on the recommendation of a friend. As soon as we walked into this Spanish restaurant we knew it was going to be a great experience! It is owned and run by two brothers who are very passionate about great food and great service! I could go on and on about this restaurant but to sum it up this restaurant is a delight in every way, the food is truly incredible! If you haven't discovered it yet you need to go! We are all looking forward to our next visit and I most definitely will be recommending it! Well done guys... Keep doing what you do best!

Fabulous Spanish cuisine all so freshly prepared. Good selection of wines and excellent Spanish reds for all pockets at sensible prices. Friendly atmosphere and good service. At long last we have a real Spanish restaurant in Birmingham with its own parking.
