Very nice atmosphere and good selection of food. Really lovely staff, the two lads and girl who served us were really nice! Would've liked more chicken on the rotiserie, but didn't mind as it was lovely anyway! Katsu was great value for money, will come back soon, thanks x
Great food, really good service in a quirky restaurant. The toilets could have been cleaner but otherwise a really nice night out in Hope Street
Great atmosphere. Amazing playlist that got us all foot tapping. Dark and edgy decor. Great food, succulent juicy burgers. Coconut curry chips were fab, chile tasted great, secret recipe gravy went down a treat with us all! Kids (and adults) loved the milkshakes!
Friendly staff, calamari to die for, but the Shrimp was off the menu, and the chips, chicken and ribs (otherwise cooked to perfection) were all excessively salty.
Waiter was very helpful, service was quick, food was good however limited menu choices, the lighting could be better quite dark. Very quirky and really enjoyed our afternoon here
The restaurant was completely empty when we got there so the atmosphere wasn't the best however we were quite early, we were initially given dirty plates and dirty cutlery, the waiter seemed uninterested. Food was OK, not amazing but quite nice however once we'd finished the meal we were then told the card machine had been smashed and we then had to walk for 20 minutes looking for a working cash machine to then come back and pay. Probably wouldn't return.
Great steak and good burgers and nice chips and nice gravy / sauce. Decent bottle of wine. We all very much enjoyed the meal here
Some of our party had burgers which they said were ok. The nachos were presented with runny, processed cheese poured over them. Basic & not great. It's a good idea for a restaurant but the food wasn't good enough for us to be returning.
I had it was the best burger joint in Liverpool, I not only would agree but take it further and say in the north west.
Amazing variety of burgers and fries that tasty awesome! Service was okay, could have been a little more welcoming and smiley. Poor selection of desserts too, but these were very minor issues! Overall a good experience, would go again with friends and family, great decor.
Don’t turn up for a light bite. Just commit to the fact you are going to be getting involved in some sizeable but super tasty burgers. Make sure you get starters too, and a cocktail.
Food was amazing but going there as students we thought a service charge of £26 was a lot to pay, this averaged our meals and drinks to £30 each which we could have had food anywhere for that.
Nice but nothing special. Too much food for someone who doesn’t eat a lot. The food was nice like I say if you like burgers etc. Maybe I’m just getting bored of places like this. Staff were nice
Quirky and unusual restaurant made to look like a prison canteen (kind of). Food is mostly American style wings, ribs and burgers. Tasty, big portions, not too pricey. Enjoyable dining experience.
Amazing food and cocktails! Staff very friendly and happy to help. Booked online to avoid queues and we were seated immediately - would definitely recommend!
Really enjoyed the death row diner experience, the Irish waiter was really friendly and explained the menu well. Lovely fresh food. The stairs were a bit of a problem, especially going up them after you've eaten. Only because I have a walking disability.
Had lasagne bites to start which were unbelievable. Burger was delicious, excellent variety of cocktails. Customer service was excellent and will definitely be coming back again soon to try some of the other burgers.
Had lasagne bites and nachos to start which were great, unfortunately steak (10oz Rib) was not cooked properly, thoroughly enjoyed the Lincoln Burrows cocktail. Not sure if I would go again.
Great quality food and lovely staff! Couldn’t recommend the chicken Katsu enough and the cocktails were strong on the alcohol front so you got your money’s worth. The only crtitisism I would have is that they made an error with our order and made an extra burger. They said it was there mistake and they would take it off the bill but it was only after we had all paid we realised we had still paid for it. That being said we would still return, the service was lovely and it was an easy mistake.
Quirky themed restaurant. Food was great-American diner fayre with a twist. Had deep fried lasagne bites and burger. Great! Service was very good. Very attentive and friendly. Would recommend.
Venue good. Food disappointing. Staff good. Wouldn’t go again. Overall disappointed, was expecting it to be much better, especially the food which was expensive for what we got.
Great place for lunch. Very hipster vibe in a basement. I had a burger and it was good. I Loved all the sides available and the cocktails were great!
Did know what expect Thought just another over priced Burger joint set up in a basement BUT WOW what surprise The place like the food and the staff was absolutely fantastic No I'm 61 and have had my fair share of burgers and not just McDonald's but these were on a different level I would have no problem recommending DRD to others Thank You for a great night. Great food, friendly staff, cool diner. Highly recommended. The tunes were banging, too. Despite the fact we were there on a rainy night midweek, there were still a few people in and the food arrived in no time at all.
Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere with nice food and tasty cocktails would definitely go again and recommend to anyone who would like a change and somewhere different to try
Food is excellent. Would definitely recommend and will be going back. Only down fall is there is no lift to accommodate prams or wheel chairs.
The service was great. The was food was awesome. Everyone in our party had a great time and this is definitely an all around entertaining experience
Overall the food was good, really liked bacon onion rings, I enjoyed the cocktail I picked place was good a little darker then I expected, staff friendly
Food is nice but nobody told us there was going to be £30 service charge on top which I think is disgusting when your eating your dinner from a baking tray and take away carton think that it's a bit much to take as we also had to ask to be served at all no one come over to take drinks orders we had to go and get someone and then he took one persons drink order at a time, Toilets are not the best kept and smelly
Food was very tasty, served quickly, the food was piping hot, very good venue, plenty of options on the menu, would visit Death Row Diner again
Absolutely loved this place, burgers was amazing and the chicken Gravy was top as well, defiantly worth a try and one of liverpools best burgers 👍🏻
Food was really nice. One member of staff was miserable, she needs to understand the meaning of customer service. Toilets were shocking! Dirty and smelly with flies.
We went here as recommended by a friend but disappointed Limited menu and disappointing cocktails - low alcohol More for students and nothing special I'm afraid :(
Food is always excellent and service is great! Love the atmosphere, great place to meet with friends. Have been many times and will continue to return!
Staff were friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were served promptly. Food was of a high standard and was lovely. Will definitely be going again! No wheelchair access and lots of stairs to get in and out.
Delicious food. I wasnt too keen on the bacon onion ring but that might just be my taste. We went when they opened on a Sunday lunch time and was quiet,
Great service and lovely food. Even with a big group (there was 13 of us) the service was speedy and friendly. The menu is creative and well executed. I highly recommend you visit!
Staff are great, food was average really. My partner had a chicken burger but the chicken was not seasoned, not the best when my partners comment was "the milkshake was lovely though".
The food here is unlike any other place I've been to. Really creative menu with mad combinations like maple bacon onion rings! Great atmosphere in the restaurant with neon lights and themed decor. Has to be seen and the food has to be tasted to be believed
The food here is amazing. We had a number of starters and the mac and cheese balls are the best. The service was quick and we will definitely be returning.
Good quality food, ribs slightly over cooked but still enjoyable. Fast service for the amount of people that were present. Polite staff that served us.
The food was amazing. Highly recommended. Great sides and starters with loads of flavour. Reasonable prices too, between us we had 3 starters, 2 main courses, 2 sides and 2 beers with change from 50 pounds.
Awesome food awesome service. Friendly staff. Large portions, reasonable costs. Nice atmosphere. The chicken gravy is sensational, everyone should try it (not if you're a veggie)
Took my husband for his Birthday before going the Philharmonic to see a show. Good location. Great food although the menu is slightly limited. loved the theme and the atmosphere highly recommend
Burgers where spot on.. Will eat there again soon.. Drinks menu was slightly confusing, but that is the only critique i could think of as absolutely everything else was amazing....
Had a lovely night celebrating our sons 20th birthday. Great service in great surroundings. Lovely food and plenty of it. Great valuevfor money would recommend to friends
Nice place. Good food. Chilled atmosphere. Staff very helpful. Would go back again in the future. 10/10. Music could be slightly improved I suppose
so happy to have found this place, this place does the best nachos weve ever tasted! -also ordered chicken gravy chips and halloumi burger -wow, im not normally a fan of burgers but this was the best burger/chips. definitely recommend and will be a returning customer!
the wait was ridiculous tbh. We spent the best part of 2 hours in an empty restaurant to be served burger and chips which i
staff were really friendly, i was drunk and food was great, yippee. yippee, yippee. location was ok and we stayed out and got more drunk
