As usual, lovely food and friendly service. Love Daniel's bistro. And with a great deal of two steaks for the price of one on Wednesdays, who can resist?

A warm welcoming environment, the waiting staff could not be more attentive & pleasant, the food was nothing less than Michelin star & reasonably priced,as a party of 8 family members including 3 children everybody left very contented the owner Daniel & chef came out to speak to us & asked if everything was ok we could not be happier will definitely be returning in the future 😀😀

Excellent food and service I would highly recommend this venue. We eat out regularly and Daniels is in the top 3. In my mind better than and of the Michelin starred places we've visited

Busy little restaurant which has a lot of potential but misses the mark on a couple of things. Staff very friendly but the service is slow

Good menu, reasonably priced, but the food was mixed quality. Service was very slow even though the bistro was not full. Selection of wines was good but only one beer was available.

Daniels is the hidden gem of Moseley. Great food & service. Serves possibly the best steaks in the area. Couldn't fault anything. Will definitely be going back.

We had another really good evening here. Both the food and the service are excellent. Very convenient location in the middle of Moseley. Highly recommended.

We love this place, we have never had a bad experience. Last night I had steak and my partner had the lamb, both cooked to perfection. The service is great, the atmosphere relaxed and the prices very reasonable for the high standard of produce and preparation. Excellent.

We eat here a fair bit, its one of our favourite places. The food is always excellent, fresh, high quality ingredients and great presentation. The atmosphere is good, subdued and it is easy to hold a conversation and the staff are always helpful and happy. The chef is obviously very serious about good food and his reputation and it shows.

Nice food but quite sterile place with little/ no atmosphere. Also, only one beer on offer which was disappointing. Might be good in a group.

Having read reviews for this restaurant I had high expectations, but I left very disappointed. The waiter appeared uninterested and lacked any personality. The first course took an hour from ordering to be brought to the table and the main course (blade of beef) was dry around the edges as if left under the hot lamp unloved for too long. This could be excused if the venue was busy, but it wasn't. Would I return? No I wouldn't, having spent £20 in a lovely Indian restaurant the night before for a meal for two, the £80 for my meal for Three at Daniels was very poor value for money. Restaurants come and go and if Daniel's doesn't raise it's game, it will surely disappear. It's a 3 out of 10 i'm afraid in my books. I could and can cook better myself at home!

Seven of us went for Sunday lunch and had two courses for £13.95 (I think that was the price!). I had the mozzarella tart first which was very tasty then the roast beef. It was spectacular! Very tender and flavoursome. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Would go again.

Been a few times lovely food. It's nice to go to an individual restraint instead of a chain. Deffernatly worth a visit also reasonable. Should support more small restraints.

Again, we had a fantastic food experience, this is the best place with a excellent menu and great staff. The quality of the meat is amazing and there is a full veggie menu too. I can not praise Daniels highly enough. Keep up the good work and thank you.

The food was clean, fresh and just all round delicious. I'm an awkward eater but the credit really does need to go to the chef here. The service could have been quicker (not for the food- you wait for fresh) by the waiter BUT this is a small bistro therefore consideration needs to be considered to the waiter who was doing all the tables on his own. Would love to go back at a different seasonal time to see what new things I can try.

We visit Daniels regularly and we have never been disappointed, it serves excellent food with service to match. This really is a hidden gem in Moseley and the love that Daniel puts into his menu is evident.....................even his chips are top notch! Last night I had fillet steak and it literally melted in the mouth and the banoffee pie was the stuff of dreams. Very high standards continually. All food is freshly prepared, you will not get served in 10 minutes with a micro heated dish, be prepared to wait for fantastic food.

Lovely food. Used to come here when it was Nathaniels and is just as good now. Gourmet society discount (2 for 1 on 3 courses) makes it excellent prices.

We visited again last night and it was fantastic, it always is. What an amazing find this place was. The food is glorious and the staff are excellent. Last night I had the trio of beef, cooked to perfection and my partner had the lamb, ditto. Parking tip, the nearest place to park is the car park opposite The Dark Horse pub and then a 2 min walk to Daniels. Keep up the good work Daniel.

This is a lovely restaurant. Food is not cutting edge but beautifully cooked and delicious. The chicken liver starter was a real highlight and the pepper sauce with the fillet steak was utterly decadent. It is a small, intimate restaurant that charms. Wine list was reasonably priced with the usual suspects (malbec and steak always a winner) although they were out of stock of a fair few items on our visit. To summarise, decent food, well executed and very reasonably priced. What's not to like?

amazing standard of food and very reasonably priced. Really chilled atmosphere. All about the food so seemed to be limited choice / knowledge regarding the drinks, but if you know what you want, that doesn't matter. Would highly recommend - especially the prawn starter, as long as you like some chilli.
