Excellent food and service and a great price for quality food

Limited starters menu could be doing with a mushroom otherwise the night was great. The staff were lovely and the food terrific will be back .

Holy cow! Steak was phenomenal and the macaroni bites to die for, steer clear of the wine that’s lethal 😂 best meal I’ve had so far, Miller & Carter has been well knocked off the top spot!!

The food was delicious slightly over seasoned, but the portion size was good and the service was good.

Wow! First visit to Cut for birthday dinner with my parents & we were delighted with the food and the service. Waitress was lovely, very attentive & served us with a smile (sadly don’t know her name). Will definitely be back soon.

The food was great except the burger patties were a bit dry. Also we didn’t get our mocktails until our main meal arrive so would of expected them to arrive sooner

I visited today for lunch with my dad as a birthday treat for him! This was the first time I have ate at Cut. The food was delicious and service was excellent! Will definitely be back again soon.

A lovely meal from the market menu. Great value for money

After hearing good things, we were really looking forward to this for my partner’s birthday. Couldn’t get parked at the venue as no spaces. Starters were good. Mains (chateaubriand) was lukewarm and didn’t pop in terms of flavour. We had to ask for our wine twice as it was forgotten about (no apology). Waited 10 minutes for the bill and asked for the card machine, which was forgotten about. Our server then brought the card machine for the table next to us and walked off. I had to chase him down and ask to pay (no apology). Final nail in the coffin was we then had to go and get our own jackets from the cupboards. In summary, could be a one off but we won’t be back to find out. Plenty of steakhouses in Glasgow on our doorstep that deliver so much more for the same prices.

The food was very good from a great value lunchtime menu, however the service was a bit erratic and lacked sophistication. The restaurant was a bit “cold” in temperature and ambience. The steak frites was super and worth the extra £7 over and above the prix fixe menu.

The only issue we have had is that on past two occasions of visiting our bill has been wrong to the benefit of the restaurant. This was rectified quickly by staff on being made aware by us.

Took my wife to Cut for the first time last week for a wee Valentine's day meal. We were very impressed with all aspects. Great food, great service and a lovely setting. We'll be back soon.

Lovely atmosphere and great food however there should be more than one server as we waiting a long time to ask for the bill, wait for the bill coming and then the card machine! Ended up going outside to pay ourselves
