Nice but noisy. Service good but pressured to order quickly. Starters calamari and mushrooms OK but pizzas had a thick doughy base and minimal topping.
Second visit not as good as first pasta not very hot my sister had chicken and left most of it not impressed last night and the place was packed.
We had the early bird menu £10.95 for 2 courses, the food was lovely, great value for money and the staff very efficient, friendly and welcoming. We will be back and would definitely recommend.
Lovely staff and very welcoming. Menu has very good choices especially pre-theatre and reasonably priced too. Beautiful surroundings. Definitely worth visitng more than once. Nice to have a really decent and authentic Italian again once again on Hardman St. WELL DONE EVERYONE !!
Overall - not too bad - on a pre theatre night don't need to wait 15-20 minutes for drink order and food to arrive When it di it was fine - but we ended up rushing to the Phil show More staff needed on a pre theatre evening to look after punters
Food was gorgeous and a great selection! The Service was really great too. I will defiantly be going again, it was well worth the money.
Very good value early doors two course meal, food was delicious especially the lasagne and our waitress was very friendly. would definitely recommend this restaurant.
On this occasion the restaurant appeared short staffed. Waiters and possibly kitchen staff. Service very slow and many had to rush their food or keep asking where it was as they had theatre tickets for 19.30. A lot of these were in the resturant and seated by 17.45. We arrived at 17.30 but had to forgo a coffee for my wife who ordered it at 18.50 but we gave up at 19.15 when it hadnt arrived. The food is excellent for the price but my steak which was of good quality was only cooked rare to medium when i requested medium to well done. It was still tender and didnt bother to return as wished to eat my meal along with my wife as it could have been quite a wait judging by others waiting for their food. One couple commented that it was thier first time, the food was excellent but their enjoyment was ruined by having to continually look at thier watches, ask for service and finally rush it down. They were in the restaurant at 18.00 and got served their main course at 19.05. Suggest if you are going to book for a pre theatre meal give yourself at least two hours before the show starts as they struggle to cope.
Average meal served by average staff. My spaghetti with meat balls was good on quantity but the meat balls were uninteresting and ‘solid’ and the spaghetti was a touch slimy so over cooked. Our waitress was pleasant but disinterested. Not as good as the French restaurant it has replaced.
Very good quality Italian with a nice menu and wine list. Music could have been a little louder where we were sat in the second room as it was very quiet. Lovely wait staff.
6pm booking on a Saturday evening pre-theatre like lots of others. Restaurants need to manage the service they can provide particularly at these times. Very slow with several tables complaining / rushing / foregoing elements of meal to make the concert. Saving grace is that food quality and value were both good.
Best Italian food I've had in Liverpool. Piping hot and promptly served. Lovely surrondings, attentive staff and good value for money. No hesitation in recommending this restaurant
The food is nice but the service is a disaster. The menu is vaste but the employees don’t care about you at all. It’s always busy
Good food good service and good atmosphere a really lovely meal before heading to show at the philharmonic. Nice selection of dishes .My meal was delayed and waiter reduced bill and also gave us free drink. Service by friendly staff is always a plus will go back again. Fish dish, smoked haddock was really good!
Excellent meal, great resteraunt,no issues would recommend for a great night out plenty of good bars in the area for after meal drinks.......only open for 2 months so will get very popular
Nice clean restaurant an facilities .drinks and food reasonably priced for town. Good selection on menu. And very tasty food.wee worth a visit here.to this restaurant
Lovely staff Enjoyed the food Very good service and nice atmosphere A little disapointed the menu never included linguini, panacotta or more fish dishes Definitely would return
excellent new Italian restaurant in Liverpool town centre. salt and pepper ribs as a starter were amazing. The service was also fantastic and great value for money
Good location for pre-Philharmonic events. The comprehensive menu is very good value and served by friendly staff. The food was excellent and came relatively quickly but as it is quite a large restaurant you need to give yourselves enough time if going to a show. Will definitely go back.
Food week priced. Not top notch but good. The big let down was dirty toilets. Amazed that a reausterant had dirty toilets . Needs attention big time.
