Côte Brighton restaurant

Love this place for service, quality, and value. It’s perhaps the best breakfast in town, a real treat on Sundays. Newspapers to hand, plus complimentary Carafes of Cote water. The interior is beautiful, and lovely seating by the windows overlooking the Busy Brighton Dome opposite (book to ensure you get these). The Full English, and others cooked breakfasts are £10.50 which include a fresh fruit juice, and a hot drink, I always go for the wonderful Pot of English breakfast tea with an extra tea bag. The breakfast arrive carried high by waiting staff on trays, and the added bonus is the proper linen napkin. Like the staff, the manager Jules is friendly and professional

Everything very good although as it was a Birthday party I think it would have been nice if there could have been some small gesture towards the occasion, especially with such a pricey bill.

As always great food, good service, good selection of menus including vegetarian and gluten free menus. Set menu is great value and changes every month.

We had the most super time , staff were excellent from the moment we arrived warm & welcoming . Add to that a nice menu superb food it was an delightful start to our New Years Celebration . Looking forward to returning on our next visit to Brighton

A fantastic place to eat. Fabulous food, the best steak I have ever had, wonderful oppulent surroundings and brilliant, professional, friendly waiters. Very contintental and always my first choice.

Always enjoy Brighton Cote. Delicious food and good value. Its a big restaurant and tonight it was surprisingly almost empty so lacked the usual brasserie bustle. Post New Years lull, I guess. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for the brasserie feel at a good price.

The food was amazing, all being served within perfect timing. The service was some of the best I've ever experienced. I will definitely be returning again.

Great value set menu with plenty of choice on it. Lovely atmosphere and nice decor. Busy but does not feel over crowded. Would definitely recommend.

The food is great, a lot of choose and cooked fresh. Staff is amazing, professional with great knowledge of the food served. They were very helpful accommodating me and my intolerances.

Food and wine was excellent and so was the service. The only criticism is that a12.5% gratuity, albeit optional, is included in the bill as presented to the customer. I would much prefer an 'opt in' arrangement. It is embarrassing to have to say to a waiter/waitress that you do not want to pay as much as 12.5%.

Very efficient and cheery service. Chose from the 2/3 course special menu. Tasty and good value. Overall a very nice experience. Will visit again soon.

Unfortunately most of the choices that we and our two guests chose had ran out. Fortunately everyone was in a forgiving mood and we managed to laugh it off when we all ordered the sea bream and we offered to eat anything that you had left???! And told the waiter that if he came back with a fishing rod in his hand we would know that there was no fish either! Apart from this the staff were as accommodating as they could be, it was the kitchen that failed us.

The meal was delicious. Just we weren't informed properly about the bill. She should tell to the customers that they will pay already a tip together with the payment and after when the customer knows that can decide if he wants to give more tips in cash to them.

Food great. Staff friendly. Service slow (& several of the things we asked for never appeared - and in the case of one beer they made it on to the bill but not to the table). Building lovely. Ambience great. So... a mixed experience: nowhere near as good as Cote in Teddington, St. Martin’s Lane or Hayes’ Galeria. But Cote is still Cote and it’s so much better than so many of its competitors, so we’ll undoubtedly be back.

Consistenly good service, we had the NYE menu.. food was delicious great atmosphere. will be returning soon.

A disappointing family visit to Church Road Brighton for breakfast. Poor service from the start and it took ages to get our drinks and the 2 black coffees arrived tepid? Staff milling around but not doing too much. Two salmon items on the breakfast menu were not available and we had picked Cote especially because of the menu! Food was good but poor planning by both chef and manager. A very cheerful goodbye by staff but the service did not live up to that image and this being the second time Cote has let us down none of the party will be recommending this branch.

Great staff and lovely food. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. A relaxed atmosphere, suitable for all ages. The nye set menu was well put together

Excellent food. It was a packed night - but all of our food was exceptionally good. I thought the prices were also reasonable. Definitely recommended. We'll go again.

Lovely choice of food for New Years Eve. Service was not rushed. Great atmosphere. Super end to the year. I would recommend this restaurant for any time of the year.

Food was excellent, staff very attentive and service was good, they were very busy but we never felt rushed. New year set menu was very good value, will definitely be going again in 2018.

We had a fun evening we arrived 10 minutes early but still got a table. My Grandchildren always love Cote we often go to the Guildford Cote with success

Busy but welcome was good. Helpful staff. Food good. As it was a holiday weekend and they were really busy and with parties we did no unwelcome or rushed.

Friendly staff as always. We had breakfast on New Years Eve very busy so would always book in advance, the service was still very quick :)

Fabulous food and low price fixed meal as we got there before 7pm....only slight disappointment was that we sat by the window downstairs and were cold.....but...the staff were great and let us move to a warmer spot.

The service was poor, rushed and rude. The food was cold. An extremely unpleasant experience. None of us will use this restaurant again. Very bad.

Great food lovely waitress. Buzzy atmosphere. Did mention to me my special request on arrival which was lovely and was offered choice of tables too. Very polite on arrival too. Thank you. Superb meal after the ballet.

My wife specifically ordered her burger well done yet it was raw in the middle. This was after having to send the frites back as they were cold. They employ enough staff: once the food is cooked and ready, get it to the table!

Good food, helpful, friendly & attentive staff. Just be careful, the staff will only get a small percentage of the Optional Service charge so if you want the staff to get all of it ask to have it taken off the bill & pay them personally for any tips you think they've earned.

Good service, excellent food, elegant premises, friendly staff, reasonable prices, child friendly. I would have no hesitation about recommending this restaurant to even the most critical individuals.

Meal was as expected, nice food but waiter a bit too robotic, blond girl with glasses, work in the industry and don’t think she belongs there, just a thought

Nice evening at Cote. We arrived and when by chance we mentioned it was my sister's birthday two glasses of Prosecco suddenly appeared at the table. No pressure to have multiple course either. Staff friendly and helpful.

We were a party of 3.Two of us enjoyed fabulous food but the third really did not like the vegetarian sausages plus huge portion of potatoe and not a vegetable in sight. Apart from this usual.great Cote value

Service and food is always very good. The choice on the early menu is very good value for money. Would highly recommend for pre or post a show in Brighton.

As always the food was amazing and the customer service second to none. I had a choking experience and everyone was very attentive. Luckily a fellow diner knew first aid techniques.

Starters were great, dessert was great, main courses took 30+ to arrive and had been rushed out after apologies from manager. Complimentary bottle of wine to placate

We've had some very different local breakfast experiences over the last four Saturdays, each most enjoyable for different reasons although today's Formule breakfast at Cote came out on top in spite of fierce competition. My wife chose Eggs Royale (with Hollandaise served on the side as requested), I went for Full English with scrambled eggs. We also enjoyed fresh Apple/Orange Juice, a Latte, plentiful Breakfast Tea and chilled water. Food and service both utterly faultless.

Had an absolutely awful waiter. He argued over what we wanted to order from the various menus, couldn't open a bottle of wine, kept staring off into the distance, didn't write down our order of starters and main courses and we ended up with one main course missing. Husband complained to the Manager and told him that we wanted the waiter changed. Manager was extremely helpful and we got a discount, however, the meal was on Boxing Day and part of our parents' Christmas present so we felt embarrassed. Wasn't a pleasant experience.

We had excellent service, however the food was only luke warm other wise we would have awarded top marks. Great value with their set menus

Lovely atmosphere, good choice of dishes on the pre-theatre menu and very reasonable. Service was friendly and efficient. Ladies toilets could do with a refurb.

Accueil banal Carte de champagne eronné Pas de Taittinger Pas de Henriot rosé Le Henriot 2006 maderisé et je sais de quoi je parle , je suis sommelière....et restauratrice Bœuf maturé a 30jours .... impossible vu ce que l’on nous a servi ....

Nice atmosphere, good tasty food; only slightly let down by the waiter coming across as rather haughty. Would visit again as I like Cote Brasserie.

Côte Brighton never fails to impress people that I take there. I have introduced so many of my friends and whenever they come to visit they always want to come back.

Great service and always friendly, we always go back when we visit Brighton. The food is always reasonably priced and always a good menu on offer.
