As ever superb! Food very tasty, great selection of drinks, staff friendly and charming, venue comfortable with just enough sparkle to feel special! We will return!

Once again excellent service from this branch. The restaurant was very busy but service was friendly and attentive. I do feel however the portion sizes on the set menu are getting smaller and with Cote would just increase the price and keep their original portion sizes.

Buzzy atmosphere. Wonderful staff. Good service. The best of the chain restaurants . Breton fish stew highly recommended but love most of the dishes here

This is the best place in Brighton where you can have meal and enjoy it plus the service is impeccable. All the other restaurants should get example from them. Congratulations.

Excellent value with very good food and service in a stylish restaurant in the centre of town. Of all the votes I've visited across England this is my favourite.

Unusually today we received poor service despite the restaurant seeming to be less busy than usual - we had to ask ask twice for our initial drinks, twice for additional water, and after waiting (ages) ask what had happened to our main meals! However, food and drinks when received were as good as always. Our waiter obviously realised we had been overlooked a few times, and we were delighted to be given our drinks on the house as way of apology. Well done Cote And I'm now delighted I am booked for a return visit next week!

As usual, fabulous food, great ambience, lively and good service. As always, good value too. A great venue for large and small groups. Will definitely be back!

Both the food and service were excellent and very good value for money. We ate from the lunch-time special menu. The sea bass was particularly good, perfectly cooked.

lovely service and food. we called to pre order but they said they were busy, but I still prepared an excel sheet with our orders and the manager took our sheet and made sure all the food arrived quickly as we were on a tight schedule to get back to work and the order had no errors.

Cote Brighton is a beautiful restaurant. We went there for my Birthday on Saturday Jan 13th. The waiter was fab, great personality. I would have rated it a 6 but unfortunately they forgot to bring out 3 portions of fries and my fish dish wasn't hot enough although it did taste amazing, apart from that it was fab. They were very apologetic and even took money off the bill (we did't ask!!!). If in Brighton we would definitely go there again.

Good experience. Food excellent, service ok. Lively place and at times a bit too noisy. Only real complaint tables packed very tightly making access to bench seats awkward

An elegant Cote. Busy prior to our arrival with pre-theatre eaters but quickly cleared. Good service initially. Food was as usual, good. Once dessert had been served we asked for our bill. It took 10 minutes to get it, it was wrong and after waiting a further 20 minutes I had to take the bill to the server and ask for a new bill. A further 10 mins before we received a new bill by which time we were getting angry. Although we paid the bill and service, we felt we probably shouldn't have. As far as I could see there were only two members of staff running the floor and although not particularly busy, still busy enough to be unable to cope, such a shame as it soured the evening adding unnecessary stress to what could have been a lovely night. It just goes to show how service is important.

Nice friendly buzzy atmosphere, lovely staff, delicious food. We really enjoyed our evening, and will definitely re-visit soon. The menu has so much choice that whoever you went with would easily find something they liked on the menu!

Staff were polite and service was good. We had the 2 course lunch which is very good value for monehy and food excellent. Cote staff are very smart.

Very welcoming, friendly staff, service was good. We did not have to wait long to order and the food came quickly. Food was delicious as always.

We are regular Cote users. We selected our food without really even looking at the menu. It was great, just what we fancied. Service was a little slow to the table we were sat at - mostly to do with layout of the restaurant. The service from the staff was good and helpful.

It is simple food using good quality ingredients that are cooked well and served well. We have been before and we will definitely go back again.

The duck was just pink enough sliced and placed on the plate with the serving of cherry sauce drizzled over the same with the portion of potato -delicious as was the "Tarte de pomme" served with vanilla ice-cream,

Great service from a lovely waitress, every time we have been ther the staff are courteous. There is always something on the menu we can eat on our ketogenic diet that doesn't need changing (that much or at all!) We were a group of four and mentioned it was our friend's birthday so for dessert they brought out a creme caramel with a candle in for him- nice touch!

Very satisfying visit, my sirloin steak was the best i have had for some time and the winter vegetables were a good choice to go with them plus the glass of merlot completed a top meal. The young french waitress was very helpful and attentive

We had a wonderful lunch and the service we received was exceptional. Our waitress Zoe was delightful and as usual we were welcomed warmly by Andrew who looked after us so well. All in all it was perfect! Cote is our favourite restaurant in Brighton it is always a pleasure to go there and the food is excellent.

Not full so we could hear each other. Good food and service but 12% or is it 12.5% service charge automatically added to your bill takes the shine of Cote.

Have been to Cote Brighton many times. Delighted to see that the excellent standard continues to be maintained both in food and service. The restaurant was full and 'buzzy', but everything ran smoothly.

Fantastic staff and atmosphere. Couldn't fault the service. Nice food, but it would be helpful if they were more on the ball about dietary requirements. I had mentioned that I was a vegan in advance but they were a bit haphazard about telling me what was vegan and gave me a butter biscuit on my vegan desert. This wasn't a massive problem though. I'd definitely eat there again.

Friendly service but with a little too much effort required to catch the attention of staff to get the bill at the end of the evening. Menu hardly changes year on year here but qualify of cooking and presentation is good. Value for money good and atmosphere is fun and dynamic.

Nice room, friendly service, wide choice of French food & wine. Safe bet if you want a nice meal reasonably “ish” priced. Located right in the centre

Quick,efficient service which was perfect as we needed to get to the theatre. Polite and friendly staff. Great tasting food. We Would recommended this restaurant.

Love the atmosphere in this Côte - beautiful interior, always lots of bustle and great people watching. Food piping hot and delicious. Staff friendly and offer great service. Highly recommend, never feels like you’re in a chain resturant- more like a wonderful brassiere in Paris.

Cote Brasserie is my absolute favourite restaurant and have voiced my opinion having visited regularly the Woking, Kingston and Richmond branches. However the Brighton branch on Christmas Eve was the worst experience I have had. We had booked a lunchtime for just my husband and myself as a Christmas treat before the onslaught of Christmas really began I cannot tell you just how upset we were. The whole place lacked a festive atmosphere, the staff could not be bothered to serve us. Although the restaurant was hardly booked we were plonked next to the bar, where the staff hang over the side talking about how much longer they had got to go before their shifts were up and how they hated serving customers! The food was just not to the standard that we have had in any of the other restaurants. Each course was smaller, lukewarm and plates were actually smeared with grease. The toilets were filthy, and there was food on the floor in the restaurant. I could not wait to leave which we decided to leave as soon as the last mouth was eaten and drink drunk Had I visited this Cote I would have never gone back I cannot believe how you have got it so wrong in Brighton all I can think is that the care is not there as you have so much through trade.

Good service and good food, every time, whether it’s Sloane Square, Liverpool, Brighton or Battersea. A rareity amongst chain restaurants in the UK. Keep it up

We had a fantastic experience here. The service was speedy, efficient and very attentive. We entered hungry and left comfortably full and satisfied with all aspects of our experience. Would highly recommend the steaks and also the fish parmentier. Calamari was top notch. 10/10 would dine again #yum

Slightly disappointed this time. Chicken was overcooked and hard in places. Not up to usual high standards and the service was offhand. Previously have always been extremely pleased. Possibly just an off day.

Good food although steak was overdone. As usual the service was a bit random with long waits between courses and getting the bill. The table check happened when we had almost finished our mains. To be fair, the restaurant was busy and the bill was reduced because of the steak.
